BLURBS IN! Huzzah!

Holy cow what a day. Three blurbs in for The Well’s End!

"A compulsive read, a kick-ass heroine and a brilliantly plotted adventure, THE WELL’S END is going to be THE must-read book of 2014. Fishman writes with verve, originality and complete control, delivering satisfying twists and extraordinary surprises. Brilliant!" ~ John Boyne, New York Times Bestselling author of The Boy With The Striped Pajamas

"A crackling thriller that keeps you turning the pages until the very end." ~ Jennifer Smith, author of The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight

"A smart and wonderfully throwback adventure. Philip Pullman fans take notice. Don’t miss Fishman’s mind-bending debut." ~Matthew Quick, New York Times Bestselling author of THE SILVER LININGS PLAYBOOK and FORGIVE ME, LEONARD PEACOCK

Write Place, Write Time: Lydia Netzer:

writeplacewritetime:

This is the desk where I am working today. I printed out the first 100 pages of my manuscript to revise, so that’s sitting there along with my emergency-hair-holding sunglasses. I’ve got a spray bottle of lavender oil there for evoking my character Bernice, and a can of Ginger Ale for…

Nice post, and glad to see Matt Kish’s Moby Dick In Pictures so prominent!

FaceBook Ads, Given Away

FaceBook Ads, Given Away:

Facebook Advertising - strange and interesting beast.  I was given a 50 dollar credit for hitting 200 likes and it expires soon so I thought I’d try an add.  2 days have past and now I have 22 more likes.  That doesn’t seem to be worth 50 dollars at all, even supposing another 40 or so likes in the time the ad runs.  That says, I could have done it wrong.  Curious world, ads for self. Wonder if others have had any better luck?
