Today in the Spotlight I have an Excerpt and Give away for Treasuring Theresa

Treasuring Theresaby Susana EllisRegency RomancePublisher: Ellora's CaveRelease Date: January 3, 2013Heat Level: SweetWord Count: 13,000

Description:At the betrothal ball of the man she had expected to marry herself, Lady Theresa latches on to Damian Ashby, hoping to divert attention from her own humiliating situation. Of course, she's not seriously interested because he's a useless London fribble, in her opinion. He is not favorably impressed with her either.
Still, she's the daughter of an earl, and he's the heir to her father's title and estate, so they are destined to spend more time in each other's company…sooner rather than later. And who knew that the two of them would develop an unlikely attraction to one another?
But can a London swell and a country lady ever make their diverse lives and interests work together?

Excerpt:Damian Ashby, Viscount Clinton, looked down upon the festive ballroom with a critical eye as he waited in the reception line. Greek statues and scrolled Ionic columns, along with draperies of white and gold and a profusion of candelabras wrapped in ivy, trumpeted the classical theme. A brief survey of the guests confirmed his suspicion that the Sedgelys did not socialize in the first circles of the ton. Except for his cousin, the Earl of Granville, whose heir he was and at whose behest he had deigned to attend, Damian himself appeared to be the highest ranked in attendance.
And frankly, he’d rather be indulging in an intimate dinner and sensual dessert with his mistress than attending a provincial betrothal ball held for two people he’d never met.
“Charmed, I’m sure” he said disdainfully as he greeted his hosts. The pudgy Mr. Sedgely, a banker, and his horse-faced wife, second cousin to a baron, socialized on the fringes of theton, which is why he’d never encountered them previously.
The balding gentleman waiting to greet him on the next step down introduced himself as Squire Bromfield, father of the bridegroom. “So good of you to come,” he boomed, “considering I’ll be your neighbor one day. Or at least my son will, if I’ve shoved off by then.”
“Indeed,” Damian replied, shuddering inwardly at the thought of socializing with such boorish people. After he inherited, he planned to reside at Granville Manor for one week annually during the hunting season. The rest of the year it would be left under the management of a capable steward while he continued to enjoy the pleasures of civilized society in London.
He was calculating the most direct path to the card room when a young lady pounced on him.
“Why, I do believe it’s Cousin Damian! How delightful to see you again!”
She was passably pretty, he thought, although her marine-blue gown was not in the first stare of fashion. He could find no fault with her small waist and full breasts, although he personally preferred a more voluptuous figure. Her hair was too dark a blonde to be in vogue, and the simple chignon indicated that she had arranged it herself without the assistance of a maid. But it was her tantalizing eyes that drew his attention—a deep cerulean blue that reminded him of the Adriatic Sea and a pleasurable interlude on a beach with a sultry Greek barmaid during his European tour a few years ago.
Cousin?
She swatted his arm with her fan.
“You don’t remember me, do you, Cousin Damian? It hasbeen an age since your visit to Granville at Christmastime. It was five or six years, perhaps, but I still had no trouble recognizing you!”
His memory yielded the image of a younger version of the girl before him. Barely out of adolescence, she’d been as provincial as the others in the tedious party.
“Lady Theresa,” he said. “How delightful to see you again!”
“Cousin Theresa,” she insisted. “Strict propriety need not be followed among relations, you know.”
“Although a high-stickler would point out our blood relationship is somewhat diluted,” he reminded her, “our grandfathers being merely cousins and all.”
She grinned. “Isn’t it fortunate there are no high-sticklers here?”
The first notes of a waltz were struck. “What luck!” she said, pulling him onto the dance floor. “Come dance with me, Cousin Damian. I do so adore waltzes!”
He could have—should have—cut her for her impertinence. If he’d been ambushed in such a manner by any other young lady at a ton ball, she’d have been dealt a severe set-down. But among a roomful of provincials, Lady Theresa, as the daughter of an earl, outranked everyone except her father and himself. And seeing as she was the one who would be displaced when he inherited her father’s estate, he decided to ignore her lapse in manners. More or less.
“How fortunate that we both have this dance available,” he said with a hint of reproof.
“Oh la,” she said. “I don’t have so many partners that I must write down their names. And you just arrived,” she said with a triumphant smile.
A country bumpkin, thought Damian in disgust. Bruiting about her own unpopularity so candidly. She would be a pariah at any civilizedball.
She danced surprisingly well for a country girl, he thought as they whirled around the room. She felt good in his arms and the scent of her hair wafted up to his nose. Lavender.
Her astonishing eyes peered up at him, sparkling with interest. Oh no, he groaned inwardly. Here it comes.
“You are easily the most refined gentleman here,” she gushed. “Your apparel outshines even Reese’s, and he is the guest of honor.” Seeing his puzzled look, she explained. “Reese Bromfield, Squire Bromfield’s son. The husband-to-be.” She nodded toward a hulky blond man dancing with a pretty redhead. “That’s Eugenia Sedgely, his fiancée.”
Was it only his imagination that her voice shook slightly when she said that last word?
About the Author:
A former teacher, Susana is finally living her dream of being a full-time writer. She loves all genres of romance, but historical—Regency in particular—is her favorite. There’s just something about dashing heroes and spunky heroines waltzing in ballrooms and driving through Hyde Park that appeals to her imagination.
In real life, Susana is a lifelong resident of northwest Ohio, although she has lived in Ecuador and studied in Spain, France and Mexico. More recently, she was able to travel around England and visit many of the places she’s read about for years, and it was awesome! She is a member of the Maumee Valley and Beau Monde chapters of Romance Writers of America.

Excerpt 1
But as Verity circled the exhibit, she began to think her father was right after all.  Was it not sad to see these dignified animals consigned to collect dust, in the name of entertainment?  She turned to Miss Mowlam to make this remark, only to find her companion shifting from foot to foot and clutching her belly.
“Miss Mowlam? Are you unwell?”
Her chaperone frowned.  “Excuse me, Miss Verrinder, but I must find a place of easement and quickly.”
“Shall I come with you?”
Such was Miss Mowlam's haste that she answered with a flap of the hand and was gone.  Verity was torn; it was irregular to be without a chaperone, but Miss Mowlam would not welcome a witness to her discomfort.  As her ample derriere had already disappeared back the way they came, it seemed to stay put was the best option, so that Miss Mowlam could find her again.
The elephant's sad eye made her uncomfortable, so Verity investigated the cabinets.  But as she turned, a figure caught her eye.  Even with his back turned and leaning forward to inspect an exhibit, there was no mistaking the powerful shoulders and graceful elegance of Lord Ryevale.  The hall suddenly shrank in size and her heart catapulted against her ribs.  She swallowed hard.  What if he saw her, what should she do? Without a chaperone she felt exposed. This panic felt most peculiar; a jumble of excitement and caution.
Verity drifted to one of the cabinets to better study him covertly.  No one else filled a jacket quite so well as Lord Ryevale.  A curl of dark hair contrasted with his white stock, and the detail thrilled her.  Even the arrogant tilt of his head befuddled her thoughts—such a handsome profile; the jut of his chin, the curve of his lips and the hollowed cheeks that evoked an insistent beat in her chest.
To her horror, Ryevale glanced towards her, then turned away.  Her fingers curled into her palms in an agony of embarrassment.  Had he seen her looking? Clumsily, she feigned interest in a stuffed puffin.  She held her breath, but when no one approached she let it out again.  She frowned.  Instinctively, she knew he was ignoring her.  After a minute, the seconds measured by her racing pulse, she permitted herself another glance.
He had moved onto the next cabinet.
Verity froze.  Her skin still sang from where his eyes had grazed it; beyond a doubt he had seen her, which meant he had deliberately cut her.  How dare he! This man who seduced a married woman in her father's library refused to acknowledge a respectable lady!  If anyone was to cut the other it would be her.
Without pausing to consider the wisdom of her actions, Verity stalked across the hall and tapped him on the shoulder.
“Lord Ryevale, why did you pretend not to see me?”
With suave nonchalance, Ryevale bowed.  “Ah, Miss Verrinder, delightful as ever.”
“Why did you ignore me?”
“I did no such thing.”
“I don’t believe you.”
One corner of his mouth twitched into a teasing smile.  “Perhaps I was thinking of your reputation.  After all, being seen in the company of a rogue is not the done thing.”
Of course he was right, which only irritated Verity more because it hadn't occurred to her.  Stubbornly, she pressed on.  “Miss Mowlam is escorting me...and will return any second.”
“Glad to hear it.”  He pursed his mouth, which made Verity unexpectedly hot between the breasts.  “Why did she leave you alone?”  Was it her imagination or did he seem concerned?
“A call of nature.”
“Ah.  And you didn’t think to go with her?”
Verity spluttered.  “I am an adult.  I can take care of myself.”
“I did not imply differently—merely that you never know which unsavory character you may bump into.”  He raised an ironical brow.
“Touché.  So what are you doing here?”
Ryevale hesitated.  “Have you considered that I might have an assignation with a young lady?”
“Oh!”
His eyes were such a rich deep brown—darker than cocoa and deeper than sherry—that made her quiver inside, and at that moment she hated him very much indeed.
“Miss Verrinder, if you recall, you approached me.”
“Humph.”  Infuriating man, now he implied she couldn’t keep away.
“But now you have sought me out, and it seems my friend has forsaken me, perhaps we could call a truce and examine the exhibits together.”
“That's not a good idea.”  A voice nagged in her head, saying that Ryevale's company was not appropriate, especially as he addled her judgment so.
“Come now, I am a family friend, and your father would not be happy if I left you without an escort.  I promise to go when your chaperone returns.”
It seemed churlish to refuse.  “Very well.”
“Besides, I enjoy your company.”
Remembering how she despised women who were easily flattered, Verity fought off the urge to blush.
“You are allowed to enjoy yourself, Miss Verrinder.  I have a theory that you don’t get much opportunity for smiling.”
What else had he guessed?  This man was dangerous.  “Let's walk.”  Verity said, “People are looking.”
“Are you surprised?” his velvet tone teased.  “I have something of a reputation, don’t you know?”

Sweet Proposal Interview with Celia Joy Anderson

Sweet Proposal by Celia J Anderson
Interview Questions:
      1.      Where did the idea come from for the book?I’ve always loved eating chocolate while I read in the bath, and the idea of a bespoke bookshop where it would be possible to do all these things seemed a good basis for a book – the bath became a Jacuzzi and the chocolate morphed into a full cafe of chocolate-based goodies.      2.      What genre does your book fall under?Sweet Proposal is classed as contemporary romance – funny in places, reasonably light but with some deep underlying issues.3.      Which actors would you choose to play your characters in a movie rendition?Going with a Broadchurch theme, Mab might be Olivia Coleman and Leo could easily played by Christopher Tennant. I wonder if they’re free??
4.      What is the one-sentence synopsis of your book?Books, chocolate, an irresistible man and a Jacuzzi – heaven unless your timing is all wrong.5.      Will your book be self-published or represented by an agency?Sweet Proposal is being published by Piatkus Entice as an ebook and I’m very happy to be represented by the Kate Nash agency.6.      How long did it take you to write the first draft of your manuscript?Probably about 6 months but I spent quite a bit of time editing as I went along, rather than blasting out a rough draft first. I thought I’d try the second option for my next book but it’s nearly finished now and I have to confess I’ve done exactly the same thing – can’t work any other way.7.      What other books would you compare this story to within your genre?I admire Sue Moorcroft’s and Jane Lovering’s books and think that these are probably the most similar to mine. There are hints of early Jilly Cooper in them too, but with more family problems, maybe?8.      Who or What inspired you to write this book?I’m part of the RNA New Writers’ Scheme and had had my previous book reviewed by one of their readers. The advice given made me stop and think. I tried a rewrite but knew I needed to start again with a fresh idea – this was the first appealing one that came to mind. It gained layers after it was reviewed by Kate Nash and then the next year a different RNA reader added her opinions most constructively, all of which inspired me to keep going and make it better.9.      What else about your book might pique the reader’s interest?Mab meets Leo at just about the worst time in her life for a new relationship when he is also heavily involved with someone else. Sweet Proposal follows their progress as they battle with their consciences and deal with starting a new business in difficult circumstances. And the food is amazing! Some of their recipes are included as a bonus at the end.
Blurb:Books, chocolate and a Jacuzzi: could there be a better combination? Gorgeous Geordie Leo arrives in Clayton-on-the-Bream with a mission to make his mark. When he reveals his ideas for a bespoke bookshop and chocolate-themed cafe, struggling writer Mab can’t resist his plea for help.
However, Leo’s timing is disastrous. Engaged to flighty, super-thin Sophie and knowing that Mab is up to her neck in a mysterious scheme of her own, Leo fights hard to ignore the warm, sensual friendship that is growing between them. When their eclectic mix of family and friends weigh in to help, the dream seems almost possible, but can Leo ignore Mab’s shady past? As they battle with sabotage, jealousy, vindictive neighbours and unpredictable relationships, Mab and Leo find that even chocolate can’t always make miracles happen . . .

Available from:Amazon UK / Amazon
*****Excerpt:Leo swerved to avoid a dead badger. The A1 was still so quiet that groups of starlings rose in disgruntled crowds as he disturbed their breakfast, and the café where he had once eaten the best bacon sandwich of his life was firmly shuttered. He gave in to the violent rumblings of his stomach and reached into the glove box, tearing the emergency chocolate bar open with his teeth and chewing until the bitter sweetness melted on his tongue, soothing and sensual. Chocolate and the future – they were closely linked in Leo’s mind. He sighed deeply. It was a pity that Sophie didn’t share his enthusiasm, but he supposed it was hard to get enthusiastic about a chocolate-based dream when all you ate was lettuce. Sophie was only twenty-five after all, ten years younger than Leo, stunningly beautiful and harder to amuse than a teenager on a family holiday. Maybe after they were married she would realise what a brilliant opportunity this move was going to be, and would be ready to leave Newcastle and her weird friends behind.Stretching his legs, Leo decided that this cab must have been designed for a much smaller man. He yawned, felt his eyelids droop and blinked furiously, thinking of hot baths and strong coffee. He’d had no sleep for almost twenty-four hours. Celebrating was fine, but work would have to come first from now on. It was time for the Chocolate Project. The excitement that had been building up in waves washed over Leo again, and he gave the middle-aged lady driving towards him the full benefit of his flashing grin and dimples. He saw her jaw drop and laughed for the sheer joy of living – at last, Leo was about to make his mark, and no one was going to stop him.

Review for Southern Attraction by Tracy Kauffman

Southern Attractionby Tracy KauffmanYoung Adult RomanceCategories: Action/AdventurePublisher: KG BooksHeat Level: SweetLength: 174 pages
Available at:Amazon-KGBooks
Description:Heather has everything she ever wanted; money, clothes, friends, popularity and parents that adored her. One terrible day, she is uprooted to a small town in Alabamawith an uncle she doesn’t know.
The small town of Huckleburgwas nothing like Manhattan. Country rednecks owned the town and no one accepted Yankees from New York. Heather didn’t think things could get worse until a tornado comes and blasts through the small town. Heather has to lose herself to rediscover what life is all about. She meets two guys that she can’t decide between who she really wants.
Join Heather as she discovers that there is more to life than money and fame. Will Heather ever fit in and find true love or will she stay an outsider living in the south?
Excerpt:Heather was awakened by the sound of her alarm. Today is the first day of the rest of my life, she thought as she stretched and yawned. She jumped up out of her bed, hit the silence button on the alarm, and went to her closet to pick out her clothes for the day. After looking through all her clothes, she sighed deeply.
What can I wear to this illiterate, rustic school. If I dress up, then people will think I’m a snob and snub me. If I dress down, then I will blend into the crowd, and I will not be able to accomplish anything. I guess I have my answer. I need to be seen in order to make a difference, whether good or bad.
Heather picked out her black leather skirt, a white dress shirt, a black fringed soft leather jacket and her black leather boots. At least I’m wearing boots, that way I’ll blend in somewhat, she thought. She styled her hair the way she always did and put on her makeup with a little more emphasis than usual.
Heather heard a knock on the door, “Yes, what do you want?” she asked. “I’m going to be outside. My cotton pickin’ cow, Molly, got out of the fence, and I have to round her up. Be back after a while,” Mick said through the door. “All right, but I’m leaving in a few minutes, so I’ll see you after school,” Heather replied.
“Okey dokey, see ya later,” Mick responded.
“Okey dokey! I can’t believe I’m living with a redneck, dirt farmer,” she said as she rolled her eyes. Heather glanced at the alarm, “Crap, I’m going to be late”, she said as she grabbed her purse and ran out the door. The door slammed behind her as she ran to the car. She looked around for Mick, but didn’t see him anywhere. I guess he’ll realize I’m gone when he doesn’t hear from me, she thought.
As Heather drove down the narrow gravel road she looked for the right road to take to get her to the school. She saw Mick with a belt whipping his cow. “Now I’m seen everything,” she said as she laughed.
As Heather approached the school, a green ford truck ran right in front of her. She paused for a second after giving him the finger. I can’t believe these idiots, she thought. She pulled into the parking space closer to the front of the school, and she looked over to the green pickup truck.
A scruffy looking guy with long hair climbed out of the truck. “You need to watch where your going. This ain’t New York, this is my town,” he said very hatefully with a smirk on his face. “No, you need to watch where you are going, you hick. You’re the one who ran in front of me,” Heather replied as she pointed her finger at him. Heather was a little tougher than she looked. She wasn’t going to let some corn fed hillbilly talk to her like that.
“How do you know I’m from New York anyway?” she asked.
“That is for me to know and you to find out,” he replied as he turned away from her.
Heather wasn’t used to people treating her this way, especially boys. She was the most popular girl in the whole school at Manhattan High School. Now she was in a place that was oblivious to the fact that she wore an eighteen hundred dollar Armani jacket and Louboutin boots. How can anyone not care about fashion, she thought. Fashion is what made her so popular. Everyone in Manhattan wanted what she had. She was the envy of all the girls at her school. Now she felt like she was an outsider looking in through a dark stained glass and no one could see her.

My 4 Star review

I received this book from the author for an honest review.

A well written young adult book with a good plot. Fast paced the story unfolds as you meet young Heather. At the brink of her last year in school, her life is turned upside down with the death of her parents. Leaving her without any choice, but to live with her uncle in the country. Immediately she met two young men, both feeling the same for her and she had to come to terms with her own feelings. Whom will she choose?
With a tornado that hits the town, leaving the place in havoc she learns to care more for its people, leaving her selfish ways behind her. Learning her first lesson in life, you can only know yourself when you experience trails in life. We see how she mature in a young lady that can stand on her own feet, taking responsibility and reaching out to friends and neighbors in need.
Jake and Shawn's characters was well defined, and I love how the two tried to make her decision easier. Working together and still keep their friendship in tact. Stephanie was a loose cannon, but at the end her character came through. Uncle Mick stayed in the back ground, protecting her, but without the emotional support she needed. Distant in his actions towards her. An easy quick read.

Tour Blast for Phantom by Lara DeLuca and Excerpt

Phantom (Dark Musicals #1)by Laura DeLucaYoung Adult RomanceCategories: Mystery/ThrillerPublisher: Pagan Writers PressRelease Date: April 11, 2012Heat Level: SweetWord Count: 85,560
Available at:Amazon  / Barnes & Noble - http://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/phantom-laura-deluca/1109825093?ean=9780984680092Smashwords - http://www.smashwords.com/books/view/146617
Description:The “Phantom” was a musical phenomenon that Rebecca had always found enchanting. She had no idea that her life was about to mirror the play that was her obsession. When her high school drama club chooses “Phantom” as their annual production, Rebecca finds herself in the middle of an unlikely love triangle and the target of a sadistic stalker who uses the lines from the play as their calling card.
Rebecca lands the lead role of Christine, the opera diva, and like her character, she is torn between her two co-stars—Tom the surfer and basketball star who plays the lovable hero, and Justyn, the strangely appealing Goth who is more than realistic in the role of the tortured artist.
Almost immediately after casting, strange things start to happen both on and off the stage. Curtains fall. Mirrors are shattered. People are hurt in true phantom style. They all seem like accidents until Rebecca receives notes and phone calls that hint at something more sinister. Is Justyn bringing to life the twisted character of the phantom? Or in real life are the roles of the hero and the villain reversed? Rebecca doesn’t know who to trust, but she knows she’s running out of time as she gets closer and closer to opening night. Only when the mask is stripped away, will the twenty first century phantom finally be revealed.

Excerpt:The orchestra tuned for its virtuoso, and Justyn stood ready. But no one else was ready for the magical performance he began. Beside her, Carmen was rambling on about something mundane. Rebecca elbowed her to silence so she could listen to the perfectly thrilling tenor. As she listened to the song unfold, the world around her started to slip away. Gone was the high school auditorium. Gone were the rowdy teenagers. The Gothic stranger on the stage had become the embodiment of Erik, and Rebecca watched him in all his dark glory, belting out his tormented love through the words of his song. And she was as breathless with wonder as Christine herself must have been when the masked stranger serenaded her in the candlelit labyrinth of the opera house. In that moment, Justyn wasn’t just portraying the phantom. Justyn was the phantom.
“Let the music touch your soul.Let the darkness make you whole.Do not fear what is unknown.Your true path has now been shown.Listen to the words I sing.Embrace the peace that night will bring.”
As he continued to sing in his deep but somehow angelic voice, Rebecca found that she couldn’t tear her eyes away from him. With every line, her heart began to beat faster.  She truly felt the arms of night wrapping her in a warm embrace. She could almost feel the hands of the phantom glide along her body as the words poured forth. The music caressed her. It possessed her—mind, body and soul. Each word left her longing, yearning for more.
She was gawking so obviously, it was hardly surprising when Justyn felt her eyes on him and steadily met her gaze. She realized her mouth was hanging open in stunned awe, and she quickly snapped it shut. His lips moved into just a small hint of a smile. He never took his eyes off her while he sang the final verse, making her cheeks flush to the point that she felt almost feverish. But it wasn’t embarrassment but excitement, arousal even, which was sending her mind spinning in so many directions.
When the song was over, and Rebecca had recovered just a hint of her composure, she couldn’t help but burst into a healthy round of applause. A few scattered people joined in, including Debbie and Carmen after she nudged them in the ribs. But only Miss King seemed to truly appreciate the brilliance of his talent as much as Rebecca did.
“That was amazing, Justyn!” the teacher gushed.
“Lord Justyn,” he corrected as he stepped down from the stage.
A few others complimented him as well, but he took in all in stride. In fact, his serious expression never faltered as he stepped down from the stage. He seemed almost bored, like it was all he could do to hold back a yawn, despite the smiles and words of encouragement.
But not everyone in the crowd was pleased as Justyn glided down the aisle, so ethereal in his dark garments that he still resonated the spirit of the Opera Ghost. Miss King might have been excited about the newest male addition to her cast after being limited for many years, but Tom and his group of boisterous companions glared at him as he passed them by.  Jay sneered and tossed a balled up piece of paper in Justyn’s direction, but the Goth was quick, and caught it in his hand without missing a beat.“I think you dropped something,” he said.
His speaking voice was no less melodic than his singing voice, but something about his tone made Rebecca shiver. He tossed the paper back at Jay, who was nowhere near as coordinated as Justyn. He practically fell off his seat in his efforts to catch it.
“Hey vampire,” Tom called when Justyn went to walk away. “Are you sure you can handle the competition?”
Justyn smiled, a cool, sarcastic half-smile, and crossed his arms over his chest. “Are you?”
Miss King didn’t notice the short confrontation, and Justyn vanished from the auditorium as quickly and mysteriously as he had appeared. Only Rebecca had noticed the very real tension between the two boys. She wondered if it was a bad omen for them to start off the production with hard feelings and envy. That could only lead to trouble. The kind of trouble that could end with someone getting hurt.  The kind of trouble that Rebecca would do whatever it took to avoid.

Release Blitz for Sweet Proposal by Celia Joy Anderson

Sweet Proposal by Celia J Anderson
Books, chocolate and a Jacuzzi: could there be a better combination?

Maybe after they were married she would realise what a brilliant opportunity this move was going to be, and would be ready to leave Newcastleand her weird friends behind.Stretching his legs, Leo decided that this cab must have been designed for a much smaller man.

My review

I received this book from the Touring Host for an honest review.

This is book 2 in The Amulet Prophecy series, and since I have not read the first book I was at a loss from the first page. At times, the author did managed to bring in the information needed to catch up, but I would recommend that you read Book 1 first.
A book with a lot of promise but it did not manage to hold my attention, struggling to get through it.  Although well written the different view points through out the book disturbed the quality of the reading, breaking its flow. Because of this I struggled to connect with the two main characters Emma and Simon. At times the characters felt mechanical, not believing that this could be real. I believe if all these different POV's would be left out, and the repetitions deleted it would have made for a much better read.
The plot was interesting but disappeared amidst the emotional turmoil of each character, and it failed in my view. The only scene that truly stood out and where I actually connected with Emma and James was during the fight with the Wicked.
I thought the villain Antonio's part was good, playing in the back ground and creating all the havoc the characters finds them in.
