Rob Dircks is the #1 Audible bestselling author of You're Going to Mars! , the Where the Hell is Tesla? series, The Wrong Unit , and more (including the anti-self-help book Unleash the Sloth! 75 Ways to Reach Your Maximum Potential By Doing Less ). He's also got a drawerful of screenplays and short stories, some of which appear on his original audio sci-fi short story podcast Listen To The Signal, also narrated by the author.

Rob's a member of SFWA (Science Fiction & Fantasy Writers of America), and is a big fan of classic science fiction and conspiracy theories (not to believe in them, just for entertainment.) When not writing, he's helping other authors publish their own work with Goldfinch Publishing, writing and designing for the

I've actually got three things in the hopper at the moment: a Mars mission sci-fi comedy for Audible Originals, the beginning of a novel with a working title of Shut Up And Run!, and ideas for the third Tesla book, where Chip explores being a (gulp) dad! I can't even imagine what kind of havoc little Gigi could wreak inside the ITA.(less)

I'm psyched you loved The Wrong Unit. Man, that story is near and dear (although I guess they all are my babies!). It was written as a standalone (vs. Tesla which was always meant to be a serial), so I don't think there'll be a sequel, but I'm a big believer in never-say-never! (And now you've got me thinking... what DOES happen to the humans?) Have a happy new year Joanne!(less)

Hi guys, Rob here. This story’s been bouncing around in my head for a loooong time. I hate to do this, but once again I can’t tell you much about it up front, other than it’s about a heist with two long-time professional thieves, and that their mission doesn’t go as expected.

P.S. You can a...

Also, does the author have a thing against egg salad?"

What a perfect novel. An incredible balancing act of the horrors of war, gallows humor, deep insights, and at its heart, a story of friendship and love. Lev, the insecure young Russian Jew, and Kolya, his forced (and way-too-positive-and-perfect) com ...more
