Eight Things About Author JC Szot

Today we have the pleasure of meeting author JC Szot.  Let's see what JC had to say about her new book All In.

__________________

How and when did you first get started in writing?

JC:  I started writing at the age of twelve. I'd gotten a diary for Christmas. That's really how it all began. In junior high English class is where the bug to write really bit me.

How many books have you written so far?

JC:  I've released fifteen, Erotica, fiction novellas and two non fiction memoirs with a third on the way.

What has been your favorite book that you have written?

JC:  That's tough. I have a special attachment to them all, but if I were to narrow it down I'd have to go with, "Behind the Iron Fist." I love my character, Drew. He's such a great guy, very sensitive and compassionate.

What inspires your writing?

JC:  It could be just about anything. I've gotten inspiration from pictures, newspaper articles, a particular rock band, even a piece of clothing once.

What do you like about writing?

JC:  I love it when the story takes me away and catapults me into another world, the one I created and control. The real world no longer exists. My house could be in the middle of being bombed and I wouldn't know what was going on outside my office door. That's the greatest feeling and a sign that my writing is in a good groove.

What is your current work in progress?

JC:  My current work in progress is titled, "Widow's Walk. I lost my husband last summer after a 17 month battle with AML leukemia. The first memoir focuses on his illness and how the diagnosis affected our marriage. The second book covers the aftermath of my husband, Mike's passing and the behaviors of others. There are many ways that people deal with death. Some are positive and some are not.

There is so much unnecessary drama when someone passes away. There's anger, and arguing over money and possessions. What many don't realize is this is really mis - placed grief.

What would surprise your readers to know about you?

JC:  That I have written nonfiction and poetry under another pen name- JC Cerrigone, and the topics I've written about.

If you could pick any place in the world to visit while you write your masterpiece novel, where would it be?

JC:  Key West- I have always wanted to go there.

Come Meet Author Gracie Meadows!

Today we have the amazing Gracie Meadows with us.  She is such a talented author.  I am looking forward to getting to know her better.
_____________

What is your current or latest book Release?

GRACIE:  The Book I just released is Panther Protection, it’s the third book in the Hidden Pack series.

Do you have a Blurb or excerpt?

Blurb:

In book three of the Hidden Pack: When magic was released and truths came out, Millie was left with an uneasiness, making her question everything—especially her own judgment. However, reality waits for no one and she is forced to go back to work. With her powers coming to the forefront, can she overcome her past, and finally look toward the future?
Axel and Gage discovered their mate and while one embraces it, the other fights it. The time has come for them to open up and confront their past, but will Millie understand why the pair are the way they are. Can the two adjust to the change in their lives or will they break the bond they have carried since birth over a woman.
When an unexpected threat comes into their lives, the three find themselves asking for help from the one person they have been avoiding most—Millie's mother. Will Axel and Gage be able to keep Millie safe, or will they fall prey to the new threat?
Join the Hidden Pack as three lives unfold, either together, or with a pair walking into the sunset while one stands alone.

_____________

What is your work in progress?

GRACIE: Right now I’m a chapter from finishing the second Heels for Hire Inc., and I have outlined and started the fourth and fifth books for the Hidden Pack, oh and the first of the Vampire Lord Series I’m writing with Jana Leigh.

_____________

Who are your favorite characters that you have written so far?

GRACIE: I have to admit the three main characters in the Hidden Pack I love, but I have a blast with the chicks from Heels for Hire Inc. They are feisty and are extremely unfiltered with what they say and or do.

_____________

What surprises you most about writing?

GRACIE: What surprises me the most is the fact I never know what I am going to do next. I play at trying to be a planner, but the fact is the characters speak to me and take over. After all it’s their story and they want things to happen how they do.

_____________

Where did you find the inspiration for your latest book?

GRACIE: For this book, I had a song pop in my head and it ran through over and over and it spoke to me and the characters. The song “Say something” by a Great Big world. Because in this book they all were stuck within themselves and just needed to talk and communicate.

_____________

Which of your characters are you most like?

GRACIE: I am so much like the character that people haven’t really seen yet, which is Coffee form Heels for Hire Inc. She is the one behind the scenes and help everyone with everything. But she is quirky and weird.

_____________

What type of book do you like to read?

GRACIE: I read all types of books. From Erotica, to murder mysteries. If it’s got a great story line I will read it.

_____________

Do you have any words of wisdom for aspiring authors?

GRACIE: Don't stop writing just because someone doesn’t like your book. Don’t do it for the money, because then you are doing it for the wrong reason. Write what you like to read, what you like, and are interested. We all put a bit of ourselves in our books and it will show. Be happy and don’t stress, and above all don’t give up. As a great man whom is a huge inspiration to so many people

“Keep moving forward.” Walt Disney!

From the author Lori King:   Two years ago I was just an everyday woman with a full-time job, three kids, a husband, and a schedule full of extracurricular activities that had nothing to do with my personal passion-writing. This fifth installment is no exception, as Whitney Gray finds her destiny in the arms of Cadence and Mateo Diego. Join the Gray Pack and me on the journey with…Caress of the Wolf.

EXCERPT:

Whitney was in the middle of describing her new contract with a local wildlife magazine when the fragrance hit her straight in the gut. It swamped her senses so fully that she moaned out loud, drawing confused looks from her friends. She couldn’t help it. The sharp scent of sandalwood filled her nostrils, fogging her brain. Her breath was trapped in her lungs, and her heart was racing. She could feel her wolf butting against her, trying desperately to get out, to find the origins of the deliciously enticing aroma. Her skin tingled all over, and even the tiny hairs on her neck stood up as it became stronger.

Twisting her head, she heard the crunch of feet on the grassy front lawn, followed by the rumble of male voices. Her body started trembling with anticipation, and it all clicked in her head in an instant. Her mate.

Mate.

Her heart pounded at the one word growled by her wolf, and she gasped as it bounced in her brain like a ping pong ball. Her mate was headed this way, and her wolf wanted him desperately. No, not wanted, that wasn’t a strong enough word. She needed him. Her body ached with the need. She could feel the points of her canine teeth as they lowered, and her bones screamed out to shift and run toward the scent of her soul’s other half.

The door pushed open and she heard a sharp male voice snarl, “Move, now.” Devin and Damon came through it first as a growl escaped her throat that was matched by someone on the other side of the door.

Wait…was that two growls? What the hell was happening?

Before she could question it further, she was on her feet, moving toward the front door. Devin and Damon were forcibly pushed out of the doorway, and a pair of the sexiest and scariest looking men she had ever seen filled her vision.

Her pussy wept into her panties, and her nipples stood up hard as diamonds, begging to be touched. Her wolf whined with pleasure at being this close to its mate, but the human side of her brain was struggling and her hands were trembling. Confusion hummed through her as her eyes darted back and forth between the two. They were the epitome of tall, dark, and handsome, but they both carried an aura of bad boy, too. Who was her mate? Shouldn’t she just know?

Instead of moving closer, she took a step backward, away from the unknown. The two men growled simultaneously, and the slightly shorter of the two stalked toward her first, with the taller one right in his shadow.

In that moment, the fear of the unknown was overcome by an animalistic desire to be in her mate’s arms, and she moved forward, meeting the first man in only a couple of steps. He wrapped one arm around her waist and used the other hand to grip the nape of her neck, tilting her head backward. She felt her lips part as he dropped his head down. When their mouths met, she whimpered loudly in her throat, and her body caught fire. It raced through her system, lighting her soul up from the inside out, and she very nearly came in front of everyone.

His mouth was hard and forceful, but his tongue swept leisurely over hers in a sensual dance. Tempting and teasing while demanding and devouring. It was everything she had hoped to feel when she met her mate. She felt their souls touch as he held her, and she wanted to laugh, cry, and eat him alive all at the same time.

A second pair of hands touched her shoulders, and her wolf relaxed even further at this new touch. Her body responded by pressing back against his hardness. It was several moments before she grasped the fact that she was being held by two different men, and her wolf was ecstatic about both of them.

Roughly jerking her mouth free from the stranger’s passionate onslaught, she panted, trying to recover her breath and her brain function. Two men meant two mates. Fuck no, her brain screamed at her, while her wolf rolled around inside of her like a happy puppy.

Interview with Aditya Marie Azazyel nee Perez

Today we have the amazing Aditya Marie Azazyel nee Perez you may know from Author Lucy Kelly's HeVan Series.
________________
Describe yourself for our readers.
ADITYA:
Well, before I
married three gorgeous Nephilim men from HeVan I was fully grown at five foot
four with coppery auburn hair and a gazillion freckles.  Then, in order to
prolong my lifespan to match theirs they gave me some gene therapy which over
the course of the last year has change me.  I’m now five foot seven, they think
over the next year I may actually grow another three to four inches taller!
Plus, most of my freckles have gone.  My skin is milky smooth with a much
lighter dusting of faint freckles.   You can see from my picture how I used to
look.  I haven’t had an opportunity to take a new one yet.  I’m not sure they
use camera’s on HeVan.  They have these crystal things they call memory
savers.

________________What are your likes?

ADITYA: I like digging up
secrets, and the secret of my weird birthmark (this is why my hair is in my face
in my picture, to hide the birthmark on my temple), kept me digging until I
unearthed a sarcophagus  that wasn’t really one.  It was actually some sort of
stasis chamber and the sleeping beauty inside was my ten thousand year old many
hundreds of greats grandmother!  Any way you didn’t ask me about her.  My likes,
hmmm.  Well my three Ankida (my hubbies), I really like them.  And I have my
three great danes.   I had six but Sasha was killed when the mobsters attacked.
And  Heidi grew so attached to Boris and Bella when she was hiding from that
abusive ex-husband of hers that I let her keep them. Of course Sugar’s had her
puppies now.   Oh, I hate trying to answer these types of questions!  Every
thought leaves my head!  Maybe it’s the pregnancy hormones.________________What are your dislikes?

ADITYA: Being pregnant with
six, count them six!  Babies!  I really miss seeing my feet, do I even still
have feet?  But seriously, I don’t have that many dislikes.  I don’t dwell on
things that I dislike, let’s move on.

[image error]________________Can you tell us something about yourself?

ADITYA:  Former grad student
and citizen of Earth.  Now reigning Queen of HeVan, with powers that go along
with the title.  Oh and I’m a walking talking fertility bomb too.  I’m supposed
to rebuild the population of HeVan so anyone that has sex within a couple of
thousand miles of me gets pregnant.  Unless you want diapers in your future,
cross your legs.________________What are your hobbies? How do you spend your free time?
Addies starts
laughing….a few minutes later she wipes her eyes with a kleenex and blows her
nose.  Three husbands, six babies, three dogs plus puppies, and let’s not get
started on starting a new government on an alien planet!  Free time – Ha!  I
wish.________________Who is your ideal mate?

ADITYA:  I have three of them
Arjun, Kylan and Rune.  They’re all tall dark and handsome.  They treat me like
glass while at the same time appreciate my brains too.  They listen, they
protect and they make my heart tremble when we make love.  Sigh.[image error]
_______________What are the pros to being a queen?

ADITYA:  Hmmm, tough
question.  Nice clothes, jewelry, palace etc. all that is okay I guess.  After
all though it’s just more stuff to keep track of and keep clean.  That’s a pro,
I don’t have to actually clean it myself.  I hate housework!  Hey we can put
that under dislikes!  Men currently outnumber women 200 to 1 on HeVan so my
palace is filled with handsome men that do all the cooking and cleaning instead
of me.  I got the biggest bedroom in the palace in my very own wing.  Of course
with three husbands, we need a big bedroom and a big bed too.  We all enjoy
having room to maneuver (wink wink).________________What are the cons to being a queen?

ADITYA:  Please, don’t get me
started!  I’d have to say the biggest is listening to all the problems of my new
people and not feeling up to the task of helping them.  I’m constantly afraid
that they’ll realize I’m just and ABD archaeologist from a small farm town and
not what they need as a queen.  It’s like Dear Abby times ten thousand degrees.
I wasn’t raised to be a diplomat (no brothers).________________

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?

ADITYA:  Well, turns out I
didn’t pick anywhere in the world.  I left and picked HeVan.  And that is one of
the benefits.  HeVan is…well…heavenly.  The air is fresh and clean.  Because of
the smaller population there are no huge cities, lots of open natural areas that
appeal to a farm girl like me.________________Do you have a message for the readers?

ADITYA:  I hope you’ve enjoyed
reading the adventures of mine and the other ladies from Earth that have been
found to be descendents of the Nephilim.  The latest book due out soon is all
about starting up our new government, dealing with the council that messed some
things up.  At the same time, there’s still lots happening back on Earth
too.  The new book titled HeVan and Earth by author Lucy Kelly to be released in May 2014.

Nine Things About JB Miller.

Today we have the amazing author JB Miller.  I have to tell you I am a fan of JB as a person and a writer.  She is so funny and her sense of humor carries over in her writing.  So, without further ado, here are nine things about JB Miller.

__________________________

KD:  Do you have a new release coming out? What is the title of the book?

JB:  Sure do! My newest release is called Fae Dominance and it is out on April 1st. And I promise it's not an April fool's joke!

__________________________

KD:  What is your book about?

JB:  Eeek… this is where it gets hard. You can write a book but giving a blurb? Now that’s hard!
This book is not for the faint of heart.
It contains group sex, orgies, BDSM and of course some hot MM loving.

This book is a MM romance but has scenes of MFF, and other multiples that are secondary characters and not the main hero's
It also contains scenes of abuse and torture the baddie is really a baddie! and remember the Fae are not a cuddly race!

Robin and Kale are not getting along and Dia has had enough. She tells them to get their act together or its over.
In a bid for more time Robin pulls Kale into Fae.
The idea was to have a few weeks to get to know each other, fight a little, love a lot.... and come back a happy little duo.
Really, The Puck should have known better.
Fall into Fae with the boys for three weeks of murder, torture, betrayal and mayhem.
After all this is the land of the Fae we are talking about.
Ohhh, and the loving.. lets not forget the loving!
This book is not for the faint of heart.
It contains group sex, orgies, BDSM and of course some MM hot loving.  Here is the blurb.

__________________________

KD:  Who are the hero(s) and heroin(s)?

JB?  Well… The two main Characters are Robin and Kale… But there are some new guys making an appearance… Oberon King of the Fae just happen to be one of them.

__________________________

KD:  Did you base your main characters on someone that you know?

JB:  Ummm, Do the people that live in my head count?
If not… then no, they are not based on living, breathing people. Well not any that I am allowed to disclose. There is a whole other world out there that people just are not ready for… in my head... yeah in my head...

__________________________

KD:  Do you have an excerpt that you can share with us?

EXCERPT:

The Fae folding ability took some getting used to. It was instantaneous but nerve racking. Jumping from one place to the other in the blink of an eye did not come naturally to most.

Robin had brought us to what looked like an average bar. That is if your tastes ran to fantastical punk. It wouldn’t be my first choice for a lad’s night out, saying that it wasn’t half-bad either.
We stood just inside the entrance, which was impressive in its own right. There were large dark double doors with intricate carvings and iron hinges. Yeah, it could handle a siege or two.

The entry faced the bar, which was the length of the room. I could see the rich marble and dark oak of it from here. The back wall was covered in mirrors and glass hung from every available surface. It even had pulls for pints. I could definitely go for a pint about now. The rest of the room was a dance floor and several couples swayed in one another’s arms.

Surprisingly, the music was soft and soothing. At the back of the room were two doors that I assumed were toilets but I did not see any signs for gender. “Where do those lead,” I asked Robin.

“Heaven and Hell, my friend,” he grinned boyishly. “Heaven and Hell. We will get there later. What do you say we have a drink first?”

“Oh, yeah, I could most definitely go for a drink right now.” I threw an arm over his shoulder and we headed to the bar.

Half an hour later and I was feeling the buzz.
What the hell was in this, I wondered. The drink that Robin had given me seemed mild enough but it kicked like a mule.

“Man, that packs one hell of a punch, mate,” I repeated aloud. “What is it?” I asked him.

“Fae wine,” Robin replied.

“I am sure you have heard of its effect on those that are not Fae?”
“Yeah, but I had never really believed the hype,” I laughed.

I had only had a couple of glasses but the edges were well and truly taken off. When we had entered the club, Robin had ordered for the both of us. The drinks he had requested had been sweet without the obvious hint of alcohol so I had not taken too much notice.

I should have known better.
“I should really be upset but damn, man, I just can’t bring myself to care, not even one little fuck.” I laughed while throwing my arm around the smaller male and pulling him close. “Shall we have another?” I asked Robin while I drained the glass.

He looked at me with calculating eyes before he responded, “Are you sure you want to imbibe more wine wolf? Fae drink has more effects than just a loss of inhibitions. It also increases ones hidden desires.”

“Sure, why not,” I shrugged. “I can control myself, faery. What about you?” I teased him. “Are you up to proving your legendary control,” I smirked. If anything, the Puck was renowned for his erratic and mischievous nature. Control often played little part in the stories told about him. “How do you feel about a wager, my Fae friend?”

__________________________

KD:  Who is your all time favorite character from one of your books?

JB:  I can't tell you too much about him. But it's Cernunnos. Do not ever tell Robin because Robin is my Favorite.. but there is something extra special about Cernunnos. You will have to wait for Dianthe Hunting to find out why though.

__________________________

KD:  When did you first get into writing?

JB:  As a serious thing, last year. My little girl was born in Sept. 2012 and she was only a few months old when a very good friend of mine Connie Suttle gave me that little added push to write. I had always loved to write and books are my escape. I fell in love with Connie's work and got to know her over facebook. We became friends in real life and thanks to her I became brave enough to write Dianthe Rising. The only thing that sucks is now that we are both writing I don’t get the chance to chat to her as much as I would like!

__________________________

KD:  Do you have a writing ritual that you follow? (Eat, drink, music, sock monkey?)

JB:  Honestly, Nope.
I have to be in the mood to write. I cannot force it. Tried and it turns out badly for everyone. I always have things going on in my head and I kind of just let it flow out my fingers and onto the keys. While I was writing Fae Dominance, I did listen to Frozen's soundtrack several times… Hehe.. Let it go was a key song to a bondage scene.
But one thing I tend to do, if I am really into a scene, I close my eyes and type with my eyes shut. It plays out like a movie in my mind and just let it flow. Saying that if the lights are out and I cant see the key board I couldn’t type a word to save my life.

__________________________

KD:  What is something that would surprise your readers to know about you?

JB:  Umm, would anyone be surprised by anything I did?
That would surprise me! However, I grew up a very introverted, shy girl. I covered it up by being very strong willed and outgoing. I know, it sounds insane, but that’s what I did! I was terrified of people and how they would see me. So I had to be brash and in the spotlight without being seen at the same time. It wasn’t until I was much older that I came out of my shell to be the crazy person I am today. Now, I don’t care what people think... I am still headstrong and outgoing. I will speak to anyone and as I was often told as a child, "I swear Brandy; you would talk the hind leg off a donkey."
BTW… Im still waiting for that to happen!
__________________________

Parting words from JD Miller:
I hope you liked my ranting's.. Hehe…
And the stories that go along with them! I am always interested to hear from people! My mama used to say to me, "Brandy, you don’t know what a stranger is!"
I would reply... "Sure I do Mama! It’s a friend you haven’t met yet!"
She gave up trying to change my mind years ago.

Ten Things About Willow Brooke

Today we have the wonder author Willow Brooke with us.  I am so excited to get to know her better.  I am sure all of you are just as excited.  So here are ten things about Willow Brooke.

KD:  How long
have you been writing?

WILLOW:  I started writing my first book back in
August, 2012.  By March 2013, I finally
got the nerve to send it in, and was blown away to be accepted for
publishing.  Now, a year later, I have 11
books either published or contracted and in the editing stages.

 ___________________________________________

KD:  What
genre do you usually write?  Is there another genre that you would like to
try?

WILLOW: I write
paranormal, military, western, fairy tale, and fantasy as of now, but am open
to any genre.  Scify I don’t think I will
ever do just from lack of ability, not interest.

 ___________________________________________

KD:  What
advice would you give someone who is just starting out as a writer?

WILLOW:  Start social networking now and get a
following.  More of our time is spent
building a fan base than writing like we should be.  Second, find a publisher that fits you.  Don’t settle for somewhere that isn’t the
right fit for you just to be published.
Third, write, write, write.  The
more WIP you have completed, the faster your career will start.  Always keep your laptop heated, even while
you are waiting for approval or rejection.
It will get published, somewhere, somehow.  Don’t give up!

About story--I don’t have
a blurb written yet, (I hate writing those little boogers lol) but here is a
brief summary:

Every since that night at the party, Vice can’t get away
from the panty twisting kiss Dom laid on her. It haunts her dreams, and
tortures her during the day.  Tension is
thick, and Dom is a walking contradiction.
One minute he is pulling his me man you woman shit, the next melting her
into a puddle of need.  The sexy little innuendos
are frustrating, and his rapid mood changes are giving her whiplash.

Dom is in a struggle for what he wants, and what he can’t
have.  There is no denying his
alternative lifestyle.  He is a Dom
through and through.  Vice is anything
but sub material with her strong personality and kick ass ways.  Could he ever walk away from his true
nature?

As the team faces another deployment to get one step closer
to stopping the terrorism and capturing the U.S. government officials behind
America’s attacks, one of their own is taken hostage.  Vice is tough, but can she make it through
the brutal beatings and torture they put her through?

NEW RELEASE: Infiltrating the Pack

I am so excited to be talking abou the latest book from Bryce Evans and Jana Leigh.  These two authors are my personal favorites.  I admire both of them individually and them together makes an unstoppable DUO.  So here is some information you might want to know about Infiltrating the Pack.

___________________________

Warning: For Mature Adult Audiences. Contains language and actions some may deem offensive. Sexually explicit content. Ménage – MMF – MM scenes.

In book two of Shifter Justice: With the Redeemer in custody, Vander and Jewel must find out who is still following through with his plans because the killings haven't stopped. When dreams start for Vander, he realizes they need to solve this case quickly if the woman in them is to survive. If that wasn't enough for the human who was placed in a nightmare along with a bunch of wolves, being told you had two mates would definitely cause a few more problems, especially when one is male.

Kane faces a mate who won't acknowledge him. For a wolf, this can be devastating, he knows because every time he tries to get close and Vander pulls back, he feels his heart break a little more.

The Atlanta Pack Alpha has had his share of problems with running a pack but as things start to surface this time, he realizes it has turned personal. Who is he to put his trust in, surely not the two men who threaten to change the dynamics in his family.

Can they stop the reign of a man who is locked up? Will a change in the Atlanta Pack be for the better—or worse? Do three find everything they have ever wanted and become one? Come to Atlanta and find the answers.

Eight Things About Carlene Laye!

We have a special guest with us today, from MCJ Warriors Youth and Christian Authors, the fabulous Carlene Laye.

Here are eight things you should know about Carlene.

_____________________

KD: How long have you been writing?

Carlene:  I've spun stories in my mind all my life, but it wasn't until four years ago I finally began the Chandler Series. It's a story very close to my heart. It's a little bit of the familiar, along with the world I've often dreamed about within my mind. I hope you come to love the characters as I have.

_____________________

KD:  You write mostly Christian fiction. Is there another genre that you would like to try?

Carlene:  I love writing poetry, and I would like to publish in this genre as well.

_____________________

KD: What advice would you give someone who is just starting out as a writer?

Carlene:  They should never give up on their dream. No, matter how seemingly unattainable it may be to the person. They should never give up up those dreams.

_____________________

KD: How many books do you have published?

Carlene:  I have three published to date.

_____________________

KD: Do have any new projects in the works?

Carlene:  I have three books in editing, and I'm currently working on the fifth book in the Chandler Series. Also, I just started a new series, The Messengers.

The Messengers, Book One, Finding YOU

God in all his ultimate wisdom foresaw the Evil and their plans for turning, Trinity University, a place of Christian teaching into a battle ground for their evil plans here on Earth. What better way than to turn the godly students into servants for the Devil—without them even realizing what was happening. Well—at least until it was too late anyway.

His plan was simple really—he would send in the only hope for his people—they would be called, The Messenger’s, each one would have the power to save the lost souls they were destined to meet. It would be their destiny to save them before they crossed over and could never be redeemed…

The first Messenger would be named…Danny

________________

KD: Where do you find your inspiration for writing?

Carlene:  I find inspiration in everything, and everyone around me. God has given me this gift, and I'm pleased to be able to share it with the world.

_____________________

KD: Any new releases from one of your current series.

Carlene:  Chandler Family Christmas came out in stores March 4th.  Daniel's Touch book three of the Chandler Series, will be my next release.

_____________________

KD: Which of your books could you see becoming a movie or a mini-series on t.v.?

Carlene:  Forgotten Summer-book one of the Chandler Series.

Blurb for Chandler Family Christmas:

Previously published, and revised for Christian Romance.
In the Christmas story, "The Chandler Family Christmas", from the Christian romance series the Chandler Family: Christmas is a very special time in the Chandler family. This year's holiday was even more so—with the weddings happening on this very special day. Even though Angel married Keith in Las Vegas, it wasn’t the family wedding she always planned. This was something her mother and the matriarch of the family wouldn’t let her daughter miss out on—a church wedding. So the wedding was going to be the biggest thing to happen to the small town of Ash Grove, in a very long time.
Shaylee was really glad her Aunt had invited her to come and help out with the wedding preparation. She was so tired of her family walking on egg shells around her, afraid to hurt her feelings by using their gifts. She had accepted a long time ago that she was just an unexceptional person, born into an exceptional one. For some reason God had chosen this particular Chandler to be the “normal” one. She often wondered if they brought home the wrong baby from the hospital. Because, honestly, she didn’t look like a single Chandler—it left Shaylee doubting if she even belonged.
Join the young woman as she realizes God had very different plans for her, plus enjoy the holiday with the Chandler family on their special day.
