KD: How and when did you first get started in writing?
GRACIE: I use to write songs and poems when I was little for my grandpa. He enjoyed them, but when I got older I stopped and just did my music. It wasn’t until I went back to school that I started writing. A friends dared me to write a book, and I did. Have been writing ever since, and love it!

KD: How many books have you written so far?
GRACIE: Right now I have four books out, and an anthology, but just finished another and it is sitting on the editor’s desk right now.

KD: What has been your favorite book that you have written?
GRACIE: Gee that would be telling. I love Till my Last Breath a lot. It is my personal favorite, but I had so much fun writing Covered by Bubbles.

KD: What made you choose to write in your current genre? Would you want to branch out into a different genre later?
GRACIE: I think I love writing erotica because it allows me to write my secret desires and possibly some of my own interactions. I have thought about doing a YA book, but if I do it will be under another name.

KD: Who are the authors that inspire you?
GRACIE: There are so many that I can’t even name. I have authors that help me personally and professionally, but that I like to keep to myself. I find that each author has something amazing to offer for everything and it is a joy to read and enjoy.

KD: Which of your characters are you most like?
GRACIE: Me, a character. Na. I find a little of me in each character, but it would be a mix between Coffee from Heels for Hire Inc. and Millie from the Hidden Pack series.

KD: Who do you model most of your male characters after?
GRACIE: Dang to I have to pick one? There are so many. I find that so many of my men I have read and liked their personalities. Looks can fade, but if I think the man is an ass he won’t live long in one of my books.

KD: What is your current work in progress?
GRACIE: Right now I have several projects. I have the fourth book of the Hidden Pack, Bear it All. The second book of Heel for Hire Inc., Eyes on the Target. The first book in the Vampire Lords series, Sinful’s Desire that I am writing with Jana Leigh. Oh and a few others I am keeping to myself for now.

KD: Who would be your fictional boyfriend?
GRACIE: Man again I am not picking one. I have a mix and match of men I love to think about. Each one has something different that I adore.

KD: If you could pick any place in the world to visit while you write your masterpiece novel, where would it be?
GRACIE: I want to go to Ireland so bad. And Germany. Hell I would go anywhere out of the house and away from the kiddos. I love them, but as long as I have coffee or Happy juice I am set!

I wanted to tell you guys a little about the next book release for me on Tuesday 3/4. Katieran Prime Celebration 7.5 is very special. Katieran Prime was my very first series that I published. It has been my baby. As a proud mama I have watched how the series has grown over the last two years. It is now in a new place in the story and where many series with 7 books would normally end, I am pleased to say that this one will be continuing on. I have been blessed with great co-workers and equally fantastic and loyal fans. The 7.5 book was actually requested by my readers. First book I have ever done per request. HECTOR: I grew up as a pirate, and honestly it’s because of me that my sister didn’t get to go out on my grandfather’s ship when she was young. Me and my sister have an amazing bond.

HECTOR: I guess when I don’t have patients I am either with Amelia or keeping Celestia out of trouble.

HECTOR: Not really sure, but I bet have the speed of an animal would be useful.

JORDAN: Over 6 feet tall, 210 pounds of pure muscle, black hair with coal-grey eyes, and as far as species go I am a full blooded man.

KD: What areyour likes?
JORDAN: My likes are: running, training, going on mission to find the missing, communicating with Kylee, hanging with my twin, and being an EOD Technician in the Navy as well as being a part of the Black Team.

KD: What are your dislikes?
JORDAN: Not being able to save everyone in need of saving.

KD: Can you tell us something about yourself?
JORDAN: I grew up in the foster care system with my twin brother Joey until we were adopted by the Johnsons. They showed me what giving was and through that I decided to join the Navy as an EOD Technician. What we do is get rid of biological warfare, blow up harmful things before someone step on them like IEDs, and any weapon of mass destruction. And from there I was recruited by Black Team, but you will have to read my story to find out what the Black Team is all about.

KD: What areyour hobbies? How do you spend your free time?
JORDAN: My free time is spent at the gun range, taking a long run, or relaxing at home with a couple of beers with my loved one’s and the rest of the team.

JORDAN: My ideal mate is Kylee without a doubt.

KD: A random question if it applies. What are the pros to being a (shifter)?
JORDAN: I am not a shifter but I would love to shift from human to animal within a blink of the eye.

Interview With Two Great Authors with a Chance to Win a Prize!
Today we have a special treat for you guys. Not only do we have an interview with one fantastic author, but we have interviews with two great authors. Please welcome authors Alice Brown and Lady V.
Hi KD, both Lady V and myself (Alice Brown) thank you for having us today. As many people know, we are a mother/daughter team of writers; yes, I am really old enough to have a grown daughter, something I hate admitting!

KD: Where are you two located at?
Alice: We live in eastern North Carolina.
___________________________
KD: When did you first publish?
Lady V: While both of us have been writing for about three years now, I am just getting my feet wet in the publishing world, while mom’s first book came out September of last year.

KD: How many books have you published?
Alice: This will be my fourth book and Lady V's first.
___________________________
KD: Which of your characters do you see yourself in the most?
Lady V: Natasha in my upcoming book, Sapphamire, Dragons of Dragonose #1. I developed her character completely myself, and can very much relate to her kick-butt attitude, but with a vulnerable side also.
Alice: For me, it would be Erica in my first book, Vampires Among Us. As the character in the book put her life back together after an abusive relationship, I found myself in Erica’s shoes many years ago. And like the book, I had/have my own “Kevin” to help me become the independent, fiery woman I am today.

KD: What has been the most time consuming ormentally challenging research you have done for a book?
Lady V: One of the books I am currently working on has a healing angel in Romania. I have spent a good deal of time researching native Romanian plants and herbs, and what all they can be used for.
Alice Brown: When I wrote Vampires Among Us, I wanted Pop Atkins story of his time on the USS Carolina during WWII to be as accurate as possible. Not only was research done, but we also took a trip down to the coast for a tour of the ship. It helped that I had a clear picture in my mind of the exact layout of the ship. Also, while on tour I learned a few tidbits that you can’t find easily during an internet search. Best research trip made yet!

KD: What does an average day for you consist of? What is your writing schedule like?
Lady V: Mornings are never a good time for me. Not only am I a night person, but mornings are usually spent taking care of my animals and any housework that needs to be done. I generally like to write in the late afternoon and on into night, quite often staying up half the night by myself to get the peaceful atmosphere that I crave while writing. If mom and I are working on a book together, we usually sit down in the afternoon to discuss where each of us are at in the book, and to plot story lines.
Alice: Usually my mornings consist of growling and snarling until I’ve had my coffee, transforming me back over to a human being. I spend the remainder of my mornings catching up on emails, facebook, sending out cards, packages, pay bills, laundry, etc. We generally eat our main meal at lunch time, which then leaves me free most of the afternoon and evening to write. Afternoons seem to work well when Lady V and I need to put our heads together on a story. Unlike her, I am unable to stay up half the night and write. This lady needs her beauty sleep!

KD: Please tell us about your newest release.
Lady V: (Big smile on face) Sapphamire, Dragons of Dragonose #1 has a release date of Feb. 27th. This is a co-written book with Alice Brown, and is the first book in a series that we are writing together. This first book is about a dragon shifter, Blain, who came to earth from the land of Dragonose looking for his mate several years ago. He is stunned when he realizes that she is standing in front of him looking for a job.
Natasha is out of time and options. Although the Council of Others had high hopes in her, when her powers never manifested, they began to worry. She quickly discovered that the council was no different than the human population, scared of what they don’t understand. If she doesn’t land this job, she will either have the choice of being locked up the remainder of her life for her own safety, of course (rolling eyes), or be put to death. She is determined to live and live freely. Someone close to her is relying on her to stay safe, and so she goes to the interview, determined to get the job.
What Blain nor Natasha realize is that when they mate, they unknowingly unlock Natasha’s powers. Then Blain’s dragon, Sapphamire gets involved, and decides that Natasha needs a dragon of her own. A very rare gift indeed, but Sapphamire will do anything to see to Natasha’s safety and happiness.
But the couple soon realize they must put everything, including their mating, on hold to answer a summons from Blain’s king. An old enemy is threatening to attack, and Blain knows all too well how nasty the Raptorians are in battle.
But then the unthinkable happens, and Sapphamire is injured during the fight with their enemy. I don’t want to give too much more away, but I will say that Natasha’s newly unlocked powers play a pivotal role in Blain recovering.
Alice: (Sits back and sighs) Well, since Lady V just took the words rightout of my mouth, I’ll just quickly add that we have gotten some really good feedback on this book already from beta reader, editors, etc.

KD: Do you have a current work in progress? Canyou tell us about it?
Lady V: (laughs) If I told you every work in progress I have going right now, we would be here for a very long time. As stated above, I have been writing fort hree years now consistently, so I have a LOT of stories that are in some stage of the “partially written” category. I have a series on vampires, one on werewolves, a book of all different supernatural creatures, one on the Bermuda Triangle with Mermaids, and of course, both Alice and I are working on books two and three of the Dragons of Dragonose series.
Alice: I just finished the first book in a new series, Up in Flames, Texas Vampire Rangers. I am working with Lady V on books two and three of Dragonose and will be starting the second book of Texas Vampire Rangers soon.

Character Interview with Three Hot Men! PUCK/KALE/DANIEL

Character Interview with- Robin Goodfellow AKA The Puck
KD: Describe yourself: height/weight/build/hair and eye color/species
PUCK: Well now that depends, do you want me glamoured or as I really am?
KD: Both please:
PUCK: Well glamoured I am about 6’2 with long brown hair. It has red and blonde highlights in it. My eyes are a silvery blue and I have a swimmers build.
As for unglamoured, few get to see that on this side of the mounds. Women tend to mob me. But if you insist on knowing I will tell you. I am roughly the same height, my features are similar just more refined and my hair is a glorious red. My Dianthe calls it a waterfall of autumn. It shimmers with shades of reds, golds, browns and few others. My eyes are mercurial silver and usually a deadly ice cold. Unless one of my mates is nearby… then they are very very hot.
As for species, Basically I am Fae. From the look of me, I would say Seelie… but Eh… I have been alive for so long now who can remember what I began as.
KD: What are your likes?
PUCK: Ohhh, I have many likes. I like to put my puppy in his place. I like to hear the sound of my name on my mates lips when I give them pleasure. I LIKE to have everything that I plan to go the exact way that I plan it. It may not be tomorrow or even a hundred years from now, but eventually I LIKE to get my way. I Like to play the long game.
KD: What are your dislikes?
PUCK: Treacherous betrayers. If I trust you, which is very unlikely by the way then never betray me or endanger those I care for. You will not survive to regret that decision. Do you understand?
KD: Can you tell us something about yourself?
PUCK: I am Fae. I cannot tell a lie. We are incapable of it. Saying that it is amazing how far you can bend the truth without it breaking.
KD: What are your hobbies? How do you spend your free time? Who is your ideal mate?
PUCK: My hobbies include meddling in the lives of mortals and Fae alike. It gives me pleasure to make life more interesting for everyone. My free time I tend to spend with my mates. Dianthe, Kale and Daniel. We are still working out the kinks in our relationship and I am having a great deal of fun.
As for my Ideal Mate? I have found them. I never thought I would, but there you have it. My ideal is someone that sees me for myself. Not Oberon’s Puck or his painful death. For so long I have been feared. It’s nice just to be looked at with exasperated affection instead of fear.
KD: What are the pros to being a Fae?
PUCK: Do you mean like immortality, or eternal youth? Mayhap, incredible power and gifts beyond human understanding? There’s a few perks.
KD: What are the cons to being a Fae?
PUCK: Did you read the last question?
KD: If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
PUCK: I have lived everywhere in this world and several others. I am happy as long as I am with the ones that love me. But, hey Bean in Kent is nice in the summer.
KD: Do you have a message you would like to leave for the readers?
PUCK: Yes, take pity on my author. I am not easy to please and she is trying to write our story. She is mortal after all. I keep telling her what to write and gently explaining when she is not doing it right, but alas she is a high tempered female and yells at me to shut up and let her sleep. Why do mortals persist in sleeping so much? Surely a couple hours is more than adequate?

Character Interview with: Kale Jameson
KD: Describe yourself: height/weight/build/hair and eye color/species
KALE: Umm, well I guess I’m about 6’4 and have black hair and green eyes. I’ve been told I’m good looking but being the Alpha all the females are after your rank. I’m built strongly, my wolf sees to that. There is a lot of muscle tone to keep up and running and hunting help build muscle mass.
As for species, well I am a shifter. Wolf to be exact. My wolf is solid black with eyes that shift between green and amber. Depending on which one of us is closer to the surface.
KD: What are your likes?
KALE: Other than a cold beer and to watch the football uninterrupted? I like to run with no worries of something going wrong with the pack. The idea that everything is running smoothly is heaven. Oh, And Dia. But I wouldn’t class her as a like. She is way more than a Like… she is my Moon, my Sun and stars. Where ever she goes I will follow… and kick anyones Arse that gets in her way.
KD: What are your dislikes?
KALE: That Fucking Fae bastard Puck. You can seriously love someone and not like them very much.
KD: Can you tell us something about yourself? What are your hobbies? How do you spend your free time? Who is your ideal mate?
KALE: Aww Hell, this is the hard stuff. What is there to tell. Up until I met Dia, my whole life was taking care of the pack. I guess something few people know about would be that the first time I shifted I was only twelve. It was years too early, and not something I want to go into right now.
As for hobbies, I don’t get a lot of time for them but when I do… I love being with my pack and just hanging out. The feeling of family and togetherness means the world to me. When the cubs need help with a project or anything else I want to be able to be there to help them. And my ideal mate? That’s Dia. We are talking a tiny little smoking hot package of innocence and sin. I could spend the rest of my life loving that woman. However, she’s not my only mate. I have a couple more. Daniel and The Fae. Daniel is cool but that Fae… let’s just say I’m still getting used to having Male mates.
KD: What are the pros to being a shifter?
KALE: Knowing you are never truly alone. At the end of the day you have your wolf and your pack.
KD: What are the cons to being a (shifter)?
KALE: Shifter emotions run really hot. We don’t get to pick where we mate and I fear not loving who fate gives to me. I only have to look at my parents for a prime example.
KD: If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
KALE: I live there mate, Bean is perfect. I would like to go to The Wild Wood one day, Just for a visit. Puck tells me it’s not a good idea. The Wild Hunt are not to be messed with and they don’t like trespassers. But that would be a great run.
KD: Do you have a message for the readers?
KALE: Anything you read from that fucking Faery ignore. He is full of it. Seriously, that idiot just talks to hear his own voice.

KD: Describe yourself: height/weight/build/hair and eye color/species
DANIEL: These describe yourself bits are awkward you know? Would the picture do?
KD: No, Please describe yourself in your own words:
DANIEL: Crap, Ok. I stand in at six and a half feet and weigh roughly 240 pounds. I’ve got brown hair and blue eyes. Dia calls me a mountain and Goliath. I kinda like it. Ummm, I’m Human I think. No one has told me different.
KD: What are your likes?
DANIEL: I like cheesy horror movies. One of my all-time favourites is night of the living dead. The Army of Darkness has to be on my top three lists. I’m also a Tottenham hotSpur supporter. (Football or soccer to you Yanks) Kale supports another team... We will not name them, he is a Neanderthal. (Arsenal)
KD: What are your dislikes?
DANIEL: Arsenal.. But no really, I dislike… not a lot. I’m an easy going guy. Just give me my girl and guys and a full bowl of popcorn on movie night and I’m happy. Just don’t hurt my guys.. I will gut you if you try.
KD: Can you tell us something about yourself? What are your hobbies? How do you spend your free time?
DANIEL: Now this is classified, and its off the record. But I’m military and work for the govt. That’s all I’m saying about that.
As for hobbies… Football… movies... my girl and guys... And Dia is pulling me into museums. Who knew history could be so much fun and interesting. I guess it’s all down to who you are with.
KD: Who is your ideal mate?
DANIEL: Dia… She’s the one man. I have some hot mates but damn, she just floats my boat. Can you believe our families were intent on getting us together from the start and I almost let her off easy? What was I thinking?
KD: What are the pros to being a (shifter)?
DANIEL: Ummm, Human remember… so the tests the military did tell me.
KD: That’s right sorry about that. I got shifter on my brain LOL.
KD: If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
DANIEL: Been there done that… So I’m going to go with the crowd on this one.. Bean.
Its home and I have my gal and guys with me. London is just up the road so we have the best of everything.

DANIEL: Yup, don’t kick it that there’s not a whole lot of me in the first book. My day is coming, my author has it all worked out. I’ve got the girl and I have to live with Kale and Robin on a day to day basis keeping them from killing each other. Just think of me as the behind the scenes guy for now.

No one sells sex better than Zen the Sin. So when the Galactic Times sends a female to do a two week long expose; it should have been just another day in the life of Zen the Sin. Problem is, she doesn’t seem to fall for his usual playboy routine nor does she seem swayed by his good looks.
Shawna Baker jumps at the opportunity by the magazine she works for and agrees to do an in-depth interview with the fighter known as Zen the Sin. She has been waiting for this day to come for years, a chance to travel on the Galactic Cage Fighters ship and get to learn about a man from her past. The only drawback is having to deal with a well-known womanizer but decides that if he gives her a hard time then she would dig up dirt on him, there should be plenty. What she doesn’t count on, is Zen isn’t all he seems to be—he has many layers, discovering the easy going man is much more complicated. Against her will she becomes instantly intrigued by him, leaving her craving to peel back each layer to find the real man underneath.
Not everyone is happy with Shawna’s presence on board the GCFA ship, including a mother who is furious with her for taking the job and does not want her to have anything to do with the halfsies, especially Zen. Things soon become complicated and dangerous when her presence provokes one of Zen’s fans—one who has begun to stalk him.
Will Shawna get past her preconceptions and her mother’s hatred of all halfsies? Will Zen open up, allowing someone to get close to him? Can they overcome the hate and fear before it tears them apart? Or will Zen’s easy nature be his downfall when the stalker turns deadly?

Character Interview with T-bone Thad Tremain

I have a special treat for you today. T-bone (Thad) Tremain has agreed to an interview with me. Come and see what he had to say.

KD: Describe yourself
T-BONE: 6’4”, long black hair, green eyes, built like a wrestler.
KD: What are your likes?
T-BONE: I like playing the Stock Market, sitting on the porch watching the sunrise with a large cup of coffee, and romancing Cyn with my best friend Gabe.
KD: What are your dislikes?
T-BONE: Warm Beer, and stupid investors.
KD: Can you tell us something about yourself?
T-BONE: I grew up in Smith and Wesson Township in Louisiana. I have a degree in finance even though most people think I am a hick, I am a millionaire.
KD: What are your hobbies?
T-BONE: Taking care of my gator Bubbles, and target practice
KD: How do you spend your free time?
T-BONE: Hanging out with Gabe and Bubbles, and courting Cyn.
KD:Who is your ideal girlfriend?
T-BONE: Cyn Plater
KD: What are the pros to being a (shifter)?
T-BONE: Well I am not a shifter, but I believe in them. You know there was this one time that an extremely large wolf stalked my Bubbles, but she took care of him by taking a chunk of his tail. I am pretty sure that was a shifter, so if you see someone around with a missing ass. That would be a shifter.
KD: What are the cons to being a (shifter)?
T-BONE: I would guess their missing ass.
KD: If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
T-BONE: Healing, Wyoming cause that is where our Cyn is moving to.
KD: Any message to the readers?
T-BONE: Come and see how Gabe, Bubbles, and I win Cyn’s heart in time for Valentine’s Day. See
