Illinois Governor JB Pritzker recently complained about Democrats being called fascists. You could not make this up.
This is the same party, and the same person, who have gone on national TV for months on end, calling Trump and Republicans fascists, Nazis, and worse. It has been so constant that you can’t even keep track of how many times they have said these things.
But apparently, you’re not allowed to say that about them. That would be dangerous.

Governor JB Pritzker: “For Donald Trump and the MAGAs in Congress, this is not about fighting crime or about public safety. This is about sowing fear and intimidation and division among Americans. It was about creating a pretext to send armed military troops into our communities. This is about consolidating power in Donald Trump’s hands. What he plans to do with that power, now or during the 2026 elections, should worry all of us.
When you add to that the Trump administration’s effort to label as dangerous free speech critical of him—White House senior staff calling the Democratic Party fascist; the Trump-appointed FCC chair threatening to revoke broadcast licenses and the approval of a merger in order to silence late-night comedians; Trump’s threats to jail political opponents—you cannot call this anything except an attack on the Constitution of the United States.

It’s hard to believe that J.B. Pritzker regularly makes it to the top of the lists Democrats put together when considering presidential candidates. While his presence is, I suppose, imposing, in his case, that is hardly a good thing. He is extreme on every 80-20 issue, including immigration, trans issues, crime, and health care.
But there it is. Given that Pete Buttigieg is seen as a front-runner, Pritzker’s inclusion on the list shouldn’t surprise us. And you have to admit that the visual contrast between him and Gavin Newsom would make for an interesting debate.
In any case, I doubt Pritzker’s criticism of Republicans using the word “fascist” to describe them will stick, given their frequent use of the term themselves.
If Pritzker doesn’t like his party being called fascists, then maybe he should lay off that term himself.

Joe Rogan Slams Progressives Who Celebrated Charlie Kirk’s Assassination: ‘Opened Up My Eyes’ (VIDEO) | The Gateway Pundit
During a recent episode of his podcast, Joe Rogan called out progressive leftists for celebrating the assassination of Charlie Kirk, calling it evil.
Americans across the country were disgusted by the reaction of people on the left, many of them teachers, who seemed happy about Kirk’s assassination, in many cases suggesting that he deserved it.
Rogan’s reaction to that mirrors the reaction of decent Americans, who were horrified by Kirk’s murder.

Weeks after he heard about the murder of conservative activist Charlie Kirk on-air, podcaster Joe Rogan noted that he is still reeling from seeing how many so-called progressives celebrated his death.
“The Charlie Kirk thing f—— opened up my eyes,” Rogan said on Tuesday’s episode of his podcast with guest country rock band The Red Clay Strays. “I never expected so many people would celebrate that man’s murder.”
“That is evil,” Red Clay Strays vocalist Brandon Coleman agreed.
“It’s just bizarre, like, normal people that, I think, think they’re good people, and they think, they genuinely think, that guy was a bad guy,” Rogan said. “And I don’t think they’re right. And I think they were indoctrinated. And I don’t agree with everything that Charlie Kirk said or did.”…
Rogan marveled at how young Kirk was at his death, essentially famous for going around college campuses and having debates with people, “but it infuriated people because they felt like this guy is going against the progress that was being made in society.”
“I don’t think some of the things he said he should have said,” Rogan said, “but the fact that people were cheering when he died — normal people, housewives, moms, like f—— people working at banks, people working at various industries — celebrating a man getting shot in front of his kids in the front of the whole world. Like what the f— is wrong with us?

Vice President JD Vance tore into Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer on Wednesday, crediting him for the government shutdown, which Senate Democrats are using “for the benefit of illegal aliens.”
The government shut down at midnight after Senate Democrats used for ransom their demands for $1.5 trillion to provide free healthcare to illegal aliens and gender transition care for minors.
This is despite an overwhelming majority of voters, including nearly half of Democrats, saying in a recent New York Times poll that they did not think the Democrats should force a government shutdown to push their radical agenda.
Vance was asked by Newsmax’s Mike Carter about a tweet he posted on Tuesday, highlighting an old clip of Chuck Schumer in the 90s railing against taxpayer benefits for illegals, which he called “fraud in immigration.” Vance responded, “Chuck Schumer once recognized that it was disastrous to give illegal aliens rewards for breaking the law. Now he wants to shut down the government unless we…reward illegal aliens for breaking the law.”

Vance told Carter that he thinks the Democratic leadership has “got it into their heads that the only way to be compassionate is to be compassionate to illegal aliens, rather than American citizens.”
” We believe that the American people’s government exists for the American people. That means the people who have the legal right to be here, and that’s why we’re fighting to reopen the government. And unfortunately, the Democrats are fighting to shut it down for the benefit of illegal aliens,” he added.

You said Chuck Schumer once recognized that it was disastrous to give illegal aliens rewards for breaking the law. Vance: You know, that’s a good question. Actually, it’s a very tough question. Asking me to get in the head of Chuck Schumer is not a place I particularly want to be, but my basic read on it is that the entire Democratic Party, the political leadership— not every Democrat nationwide— but the political leadership of their party has got it into their heads that the only way to be compassionate is to be compassionate to illegal aliens, rather than American citizens.
If you go back to what Bill Clinton was saying, even Barack Obama, in some cases, what he was saying about illegal immigration 10, 15, 20 years ago, you would put them on the MAGA-Right, based purely on their rhetoric around illegal immigration. So, I don’t know why they’ve gone so far to the left. I think it’s bad for the country. I think it’s bad for them politically. But our principle— all I can do, is speak for the President that I serve and the country and the administration that I serve, right now. We believe that the American people’s government exists for the American people. That means the people who have the legal right to be here, and that’s why we’re fighting to reopen the government. And unfortunately, the Democrats are fighting to shut it down for the benefit of illegal aliens.
But earlier in the briefing, during his opening remarks, Vance delivered a scathing rebuke of Schumer’s reversal. So, I’d invite Chuck Schumer to join the moderate Democrats and 52 Senate Republicans, do the right thing, open up the People’s Government, and then let’s fix healthcare Policy for the American people.
