Chick-fil-A sticks with 'holiday', understandably; AFA continues to ignore it, hypocritically
It is now abundantly clear that the American Family Association's beloved chicken chain will be using "holiday" rather than "Christmas":
But the American Family Association is still pretending not to notice. They are sending out email blasts that chastise or even boycotts against companies who are doing the exact same thing...
[Snip from AFA Action blast]
…while ignoring Chick-fil-A's own corporate choice. Because we know the AFA would never turn on a "pro-family" company whose anti-L...

Joe Jervis is asking folks to caption this new photo of America's most noted figurehead for anti-LGBT hostility, Anita Bryant:

NOM EXPOSED: New NOM tactic: Denying suspect classification to gays
Chris Kluwe responds to NOM's Damian Goddard
Marriage equality champion Chris Kluwe caught wind of my post about the National Organization For Marriage's "anti-defamation" guy calling him an "idiot." He's now enjoying himself tremendously:

Jennifer Roback Morse's new spin: People are making mean comments on comment-disabled video
Yesterday I showed you how NOM's most openly hostile voice, Jennifer Roback Morse, is begging people to like her Thanksgiving video that quite nastily knocked gay resident advisors and their supposed agendas. Well, spoiler alert—it didn't work out for her. After my post, the dislikes increased to 1596 while the likes have only reached 50 (as of this writing).
So what's the well-compensated NOM employee's new tactic? Claiming that the mean gays are making nasty comments, of course:
Only problem?...
NOM's 'anti-defamation' guy rails against 'idiot' Chris Kluwe
Damian Goddard heads up and serves as the spokesman for the National Organization for Marriage's so-called "marriage anti-defamation alliance," which is all about "protecting" those who speak out in favor of discrimination. But those pro football players who speak out in favor of equality? Oh, well they're totally fit to be branded as "idiots," of course:
Time to "get smashmouth on marriage"? I'm not even sure what that means, really. Does that mean he's going to unleash a certain nineties ban...
Audio: MN For Marriage's Andy Parrish loses radio debate (just like he lost at polls)
A few weeks back, Minnesota For Marriage's deputy campaign guy, Andy Parrish, was taunting pro football player Chris Kluwe on Twitter with tweets like this one:
But if you ask me, Andy should have followed his own advice and brushed up a little bit before debating Chris, radio hosts Jack Tomczak and Benjamin Kruse, or even the callers. Because what I hear in the now-concluded debate (recorded last night) are lots of people shooting down the same NOM-workshopped talking points (e.g. "sex ed" ha...
Bryan Fischer & Scott Lively seek national policy that treats gays like intravenous drug users
After spending the segment talking Uganda and its heinous proposals for LGBT people, two of the most incendiary people working in the anti-LGBT movement, Bryan Fischer and Scott Lively, propose a national policy for the United States that treats gays like alcoholics and intravenous drug users. Just another day at the coal mines for these two "traditional values" worker bees:

Video: Add purity to the list of things my marriage annihilates
Right Wing Watch catches MegaPastor John Hagee dropping another verbal deuce on gay people's heads:
That's why we marry, actually—to destroy all abstract notions with subjective definitions. Morality, values, purity, tradition, virtue. Basically, if it has a connotation that implies good an evangelical with a willingness to exploit it, gay vows are eventually going to destroy it.
Watch your back, integrity!
