We're all 'trolls' for disliking Jennifer Roback Morse's mean-spirited T'day vid
You know that nasty video that NOM's own Jennifer Roback Morse posted as a Thanksgiving message? The one where she condemns gay resident advisors on college campuses? Yeah, well—all of you who used your free speech/expression rights to show your disapproval of the video and its untimely posting are "trolls" in Ms. Roback Morse's book:
This is why she's upset:

Because that's the way it always is in anti-LGBT world. If people voice disapproval of pro-gay messages, they are simply showing thei...
This is that one where Star Parker unwittingly argues our position rather than her own
Marriage equality advocates are no fans of voting on that particular right. The only state where we have proactively gone to the ballot is Maine, and that's only because we had already passed a marriage bill three years prior and so were simply taking back what the other side took away from us at the ballot. In every instance other than that one unique case, marriage voting has been the exclusive territory of social conservatives who want to either take away or stop same-gender couples from h...
Career 'ex-gay' tells conservatives how to lose all upcoming marriage fights
Professional "ex-gay" Janet Boynes, a friend of Congresswoman Michele Bachmann's, is encouraging the social conservative Christians to be more aggressive against homosexuality:
Dear believer, how are we going to deal with this issue in our churches, in our communities and in our nation? Will history say we fought the good fight to push back the forces of darkness? Or will we ultimately be condemned as cowards?

NOM celebrates husbands (plural) and wives (plural)
I actually have no issue with this photo that NOM posted over the weekend:
Exactly, NOM—great marriages are in fact created by husbands. And wives. Not just the singular version of each.

Shameless #CyberMonday self-promotion; the most Zygote-y book of 2012
BarnesAndNoble.com, Amazon.com, iBooks, BooksAMillion.com, indieBound—those are just some of the online retailers where you can purchase my book:
[If It's A Choice…]
(4.8 average on Amazon; 4.82 on GoodReads)
I love that person who is selling it for $110.84. Not sure what that unknown binding is; I'm pretty sure all of my thongs are still in my drawer.
But seriously, there is no better way to support my work than by making this purchase. People are always asking me how they can support this site....
NOM's Ruth Institute now offering tattoos; they're temporary like org. itself
What every kid wants this holiday season: A "most cool" temporary tattoo emblazoned with the logo of an anti-equality group:

Well that takes care of my shopping!

NOM's Roback Morse celebrates Thanksgiving by knocking gay RAs, 'drag parties'
A key National Organization For Marriage spokesperson ($125k in 2011) takes time out of her cranberry sauce prep to condemn the increased tolerance of American college students:
"Ask your college students if they have a gay RA?" To quote a relative sitting next to me while this video was playing: "WHAT KIND OF NICHEY NONSENSE IS THAT?!?!!?"

Petitioning into the wind: TFP takes on gay-friendly college students
TFP, a Catholic group that the (equally Catholic) National Organization For Marriage has promoted on several occasions, is now praying and petitioning for Catholic campuses to disband "pro-homosexual" clubs:
(via Joe.My.God.)
But no, there's no intention to disparage anyone. Nuh uh. No way. How dare you think such a thing?! They are the victims, after all.
Give me a break.

The American Family Association: 'War on Christmas' hypocrites (/chickens)
The AFA has announced its big three targets in this year's War on Christmas:
AFA is calling for a limited two-month boycott of Gap, Old Navy and Banana Republic, the three stores owned by San Francisco-based Gap Inc., over the company's censorship of the word "Christmas."
For years, the Gap companies have refused to use the word Christmas on their websites, in television commercials, newspaper ads and in-store promotions, despite tens of thousands of consumer requests to recognize Christmas and...
