Destination: Summer Weddings!

Here's the cover for the reprint of A TRIP WITH THE TYCOON in a story anthology with the fabulous Lucy Gordon and Jesssica Hart out in June.

Gorgeous, huh?

No pinch or punch

No pinch or punch for the first of the month.
Instead, I'm limping into March (literally!)

Tried new med for leg yesterday, ended up laid up in bed the whole day, terribly whoozy and nauseous. Ugh!
So taking it very quietly today...perfect day to curl up with a book when toddler naps. Though I do have those urgent AAs to do...tonight!

Speaking of copy edits, the book is DESERTED ISLAND, DREAMY EX! with the hero based on this man. Am I the only one who just can't wait for Sunday night to roll arou...

Master chef

I love cooking. Flipping through cookbooks? Buying ingredients? Planning a menu? Love it.Not that I stick to recipes exactly, as half the fun is in experimentation. Tonight, we're having friends over for dinner and I've cooked Indian. Mango chutney dip, Madras chicken curry, golden egg curry, chole (chickpeas), dahl and gulab jamuns for dessert. Yep, I made the lot! Mind you, my bung leg is the size of an elephant's due to standing all day so I'm guessing a BBQ will be easier next time, ...

Planning ahead

Fans of 'Brothers and Sisters' will know who this guy is.

When he graced Aussie screens in the show this week, I was mesmerised.

Gilles Marini plays a suave Frenchman in the show and...ooh, la, la!
The scene where he got out of the pool...wow!

Coincidentally, my next Harlequin Romance (not the one I'm writing, the one after) has a French hero.

How fortuitous.

Having to search for more hero inspiration pics won't be a hardship...oh, wait! Already done! (and if you think this pic is good, wait til...

Edward versus Jacob

I finished reading the Twilight saga yesterday.

Basically, I devoured New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn over the last week.

Have heard so many mixed reviews for the series but I enjoyed it.

I'm definitely Team Edward all the way!

Can't see the attraction with Jacob personally...such a hothead! And pushy when Bella clearly is in love with Edward.

So come on people.
All you Team Jacob fans out there, state your case.
Explain his appeal :)

The bedroom

You all remember how much you loved Rhys' house?

Well, I just realised I never got around to showing you the bedroom.

Technically, I made this Jade's bedroom in the book.

What do you think?

He's left the building

Rhys and Jade in GETTING WILD WITH THE BOSS left the building last night and are now in my editor's hands.

And so the waiting begins...

Fan girl moments

Occasionally on Twitter, I have giggly fan girl moments when my Tweet appears above or below Nathan Fillion or Harlan Coben or Hugh Jackman.

(I know, small things amuse me!)

Now I'm having another fan girl moment.

The moment I knew my upcoming Romance THREE TIMES A BRIDESMAID... was appearing in the same volume as Liz Fielding's latest, A WEDDING AT LEOPARD TREE LODGE, I shot off an email to Liz in great excitement!

I love Liz's books and to be paired with her...yep, having another distinct fan g...

THE WRITE WHISPER: When characters shout

Writers know the feeling. When some characters shout out to you more than others. Those characters that strut onto our pages and refuse to be ignored. They grab hold of a story and give it a decent shake. They make the pages fly, both as a writer and a reader. If a secondary character, they can even take over the story and overshadow your protagonists. Over the last few weeks, I've had an interesting experience so that I'd share with you. I've been writing 2 books at once, something I never d...

Draft done!

First draft of GETTING WILD WITH THE BOSS is done!

Finished writing it last night with a big sigh of relief.

For some reason, this book wasn't easy (despite the hero almost taking over my previous Mod Heat, OVERTIME IN THE BOSS'S BED).
I have a theory on why that is, but I'm going to save it for a 'Write Whisper' craft post, maybe on the weekend?

Now, I have 232 pages to edit/polish/revise before sending off to my editor.
I've never missed a deadline and usually finish early but this book was cutt...
