Come to Montgomery!
If you're in the Montgomery, Alabama, area today, I'll be at the Murder on the Menu event at the Wetumpka Civic Center. Proceeds benefit the Wetumpka Public Library, and tickets ($40) include a full day of panel discussions, lunch, and booksignings by a slew of mystery and paranormal mystery writers. Scene-Snippet Sunday: Omega
And the day draws ever closer--LOL. Thanks to everyone who tweeted and retweeted that Amazon had made Redemption and Absolution two of their "Gold Box" deals for Kindle yesterday--it was fun watching the numbers, and I hope a lot of people discovered the series.

Early Review from RT Book Reviews: Omega is a Top Pick!
The review from RT Book Reviews is always a nail-biter for authors, as the most widely read magazine of genre fiction, so I'm super-excited that the review for OMEGA came out in the March issue, which arrives in mailboxes this week.
Like Redemption and Absolution, Omega received the magazine's highest 4.5-star rating, but (unlike the first two) was also chosen as a Top Pick for the month. Woohoo!

Omega by Susannah Sandlin Preview: Chapter 1
February 5 is fast approaching, and that means Omega is almost here! Will's book was a challenging one to write. Not only is his personal story not a pretty one (if you think you hated Matthias before, just wait), but he hides behind the thick walls he's put up to protect himself. Randa has her own issues, although she's not nearly as complex as Will. And then there was the limited setting, which presented some real challenges.

Happy Sunday! The countdown is on! The Omega virtual tour kicks off January 28, and there are great giveaways and lots of character posts (you know how much Will likes to talk--he's impossible to shut up. Plus, give the vampire some morphine and--holy cow--but he REALLY gets hard to shut up).
