Which comes first--the book or the title?
I'm answering that question over at
Books and Other Spells
today, so check it out!
Also, Omega is being reviewed over at My Guilty Obsession . Thanks for the awesome review! Omega is being very well received so far, which is really gratifying :-)
Both of these are official tour stops, so enter to win the grand tour prizes (listed at right).
Stop by tomorrow for a rare Saturday link, and then come back on Sunday for details on my new project (which is killing me right now--I've broken out in hives...

Why do readers love to read negative reviews?
I can't say that a
recent negative review for Redemption
came as a surprise since a while back as the reviewer was reading it she said in a weekly update that I had lifted entire bits of plot from an author and series that, in fact, I've never read and know nothing about.
But it's an interesting thing about reviews (and the reviewer has every right to not like the book, by the way--we all don't have the same tastes, and this reviewer's comments were thoughtful and well-reasoned and not in the...

Omega by Susannah Sandlin: Playing Favorites
The Omega Tour continues today over at the
Creatively Green
website, where I'm talking about using Mirren to get to know Will, and how hard it is sometimes for writers to learn to love their characters...and sometimes, how easy.

Coming Up Next: Storm Force!
A quick note: Head over to Michelle’s Paranormal Vault of Books today and to Between Dreams and Reality for reviews of Susannah Sandlin’s Omega as the tour continues—with more chances to win!
Even as the Omega tour continues, I'm busily working on a new book tentatively titled Storm Force: A Omega Force Novel. I'll roll out the details on Sunday's blog with a scene snippet, so stay tuned! Note: this is a new book, and not Penton #4...new on that a bit later.

The World Through Will's Eyes
First, a few stops on the Susannah Sandlin Omega Tour.
We’re looking at the world through Will’s eyes at Tynga’s Reviews today, and he as usual he's a combination of reflective and smart-aleck.
I’m talking about “When Worlds Collide”—developing heroes and heroines—at BetweenDreams and Reality . Thanks to Melliane for the invitation!
Last but not least, I’m at the Savvy Authors blog today, talking about how to twist an old paranormal idea to make it your own. I...

Scene-Snippet Sunday and a Tour Break
I had hoped to announce more about the future of Penton and the future of new projects this week, but the wheels of publishing grind slowly and there's nothing official I can share yet.
This is also a rare off day on the Omega tour, so here's a little bitty snippet from what authors call a WIP, or "work in progress."
Kell spotted the bird as soon as its wingtips cleared the edge of the cypress stand at the eastern rim of Bayou Cote Blanche. For a moment, he endulged a hope t...

Play the Mating Game with the Penton Vampires
A really funny “Mating Game” interview with Will and Randa from Omega went up midday yesterday at Dark Faerie Tales —it’s the first “interview” the two have done together, and if you’re familiar with the Penton Legacy characters, you can imagine who gets the last word (and it’s not Will)….
Except he really does, because Will is “Under the Covers” over at Badass Book Reviews today, and he’s really misbehaving. (Shhh….Don’t tell Randa.)
AND, I’m eavesdropping on Aidan, Mirren and Wi...
