Fill what is Empty, Empty what is Full- 10 Minute Guided Meditation

Hey there Spiritual Warrior For this meditation, you will need to have a pen and paper handy.  I’ll be asking you a series of rapidfire questions – for you to hone in on a sense of gratitude and awe about all that you have experienced thus far in your life. Here’s a few of them: What am I grateful for? What have I been given in this life? What lessons have I learned? Whose heart have I touched? Whose life have I added to value, and who has added value to mine? What have I done to add value to the world?  And then get ready to write down the answers to these powerful questions. We know at our core that we are the universe, pregnant with possibilities, and abundance is our true state of existence. And when we reflect on the gifts we’ve received, we see the amazing opportunities we have had in our lives.  When you are feeling abundant – that is the moment to share. When you are feeling a lack of something – realize that more than likely, you are losing sight of your universality.  I hope that this meditative writing exercise helps remind you that YOU are a limitless vessel – and may you continue transforming into the most abundant version of yourself.  Thank you for taking the time to meditate with me today. With love from davidji

The Wise Old Man and the Precious Stone

Dear Spiritual Warrior, We can all learn so much from this parable about The Wise Old Man and the Precious Stone.  It is so easy in our culture to get consumed with the material world – wanting more, and more, and more. And it seems that the more we have, the more we need – which becomes a never-ending spiral of constantly consuming more “stuff.” This parable is a beautiful reminder to us all, about what truly makes a person wealthy.  Is it the material things that we so often seek as a validation of our success? Or is it the qualities within us – our generosity, our ability to see another and meet their needs, our love for each other – that really make us rich? Even though our society tells us it’s the former, our soul’s evolution is calling out for the latter. Go out of your way today to do something generous for another person, and then see how your kindness reverberates back to you.  Be the change that you wish to see, and let your love, generosity and caring spirit lead the way. Sending you love from the Sweetspot of the Universe, davidji

An Attitude of Gratitude: 16-Minute Guided Meditation

Hello there, Spiritual Warrior!  I love this quote by author Melody Beattie:  Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend.  Let’s take the energy of those words into this meditation. Let’s explore the five steps to creating an Attitude of Gratitude: 1 – Taking Stock – essentially, counting our blessings2 – Practicing Acts of Kindness3 – Practicing Positivity – thoughts, words, actions4 – Awakening Forgiveness 5 – Celebrating the Blessings / Savoring Life’s Joys As we dive deeper into this meditation, we’ll journey through the Five Realms. Identify one thing in each of the five realms that you are grateful for: Physical Realm – what are you grateful for in your physical body? Emotional Realm – what am I grateful for within my emotional realm?Material Realm – what am I grateful for in the material realm? Relationship Realm – what am I grateful for in my relationships?Spiritual Realm – what am I grateful for in my spiritual realm? As we move through this meditation, allow all of this gratitude to sweep through you, bathing your mind and filling your heart. Embody this feeling of gratitude and bask in it.  Those of us in the U.S. will be taking time to find gratitude next week during our Thanksgiving holiday – but gratitude isn’t limited to particular holidays or times of the year. A gratitude practice is always available to us in each and every moment of our lives. This week is just a reminder of the power of this practice.  Thank you for taking the time to meditate with me. I am grateful for YOU! With love, davidji & Peaches the Buddha Princess

Cosmic Awareness: 18-Minute Guided Meditation

Cosmic Awareness

Hello, Spiritual Warrior!

Let’s dive deep into a meditation on Cosmic Awareness. For this meditation, I invite you to lie down so that you can find that space of complete surrender, as we connect with the divine universe.

cosmic awareness

We’ll start with a body scan, and then move into that space where our flesh ends and the rest of the world begins. And we’ll feel the sensations and vibrations that are emanating from within: the beating of your heart, the flowing of your blood, the moving of the breath in and out. Merge into this space so fully that you feel the universe breathing you.

Feel the peace that comes with this union – knowing that you are one with the universe. Feel your body soften, the mind surrender, and the soul flowing in and out of you, just like the breath flows in and out. The soul merging with existence.

It’s a beautiful and gentle interplay – a dance between the universe and your soul.

As we melt into this meditation, we’ll use the chakra vibrations OM RAM HAM.

Remember that the whole universe is resting inside of you at any given moment. And keep this divine connection, awakening the light that is within you, merging with the universe with each and every moment.

From my cosmic heart to yours – with love from davidji

The Secrets of the Sweetspot

Hello Spiritual Warrior – and welcome to September!

The Five Secrets of the Sweetspot is a topic that I cover in my book Secrets of Meditation. My post-meditation ritual includes me drifting my awareness to five personal expressions of the universe that I would like more of in my life:

✅ Patience

✅ Acceptance

✅ Defenselessness

✅ Compassion

✅ Abundance

I repeat each one over and over for about a minute and then drift to the next. Each of these expressions also provides the perfect closure to my morning meditation practice and helps me to evolve my transition into my time off of the meditation cushion. In this meditation, I guide you through my process before we dive into the mantra om yam ritam. Om is the vibration that heralds our oneness with all of existence, yam is the vibration of the heart chakra, and ritam is the rhythm of the universe. By silently repeating this mantra as we meditate, we can awaken our hearts into these five secrets of the sweetspot.

As always, thank you for joining me in the ever-loving gap. Namaste ✨

Transform Your Mornings: The Impact of Daily Meditation

Life Tools: Why Meditating Every Day Matters Hey there, Spiritual Warrior! In this Life Tools, we are discussing Procrastination – which can be so easy to do when it comes to our meditation practice! If we don’t meditate first thing in the morning, it’s nearly impossible to not get distracted with our morning routine and preparation for our day.  Science has confirmed that what we do in the first 30 minutes of our day determines how we reflect on our day at the end of it – and if we expose ourselves to positivity in those first 30 minutes, we are 20% more likely to say we had a good day at the end of the day, no matter what happened during our day! That’s quite a large percentage if you think about it. But how do we make sure that we meditate first thing? We need to ritualize it. Simple willpower won’t get you there. Think of the first ten things you do every morning – brushing your teeth, letting the dog out, taking a shower, etc. If we can take our meditation practice and move it to the very front of our day by either meditating in bed (Beditating), or doing RPM (Rise, Pee, Meditate!), then it becomes a part of our daily routine without much effort. And once we get into the habit of it, before you know it, it becomes something that we can’t live without. And as we know, meditation makes everything better, so your life becomes better as a result. I’ve shared a morning meditation you can do first thing in the morning – a Beditation! Scroll down and enjoy. With love from davidji & Peaches the Buddha Princess

Beditation: 15-Minute Guided Meditation

Softening into Oneness Welcome to Beditation – meditation we can do in bed!

This guided meditation is a beautiful, calming way to enter into your morning – stay in bed for a listen before you rise. In this meditation, we simply settle into the flow of quiet, continuous breathing. Infusing peace into your body, mind and spirit before you even rise out of bed in the morning will no doubt create a beautiful start to your day.

Thank you for joining me in the ever-loving gap. Namaste ✨

REBIRTH:The Principle of Renewal and Growth

Life Tools -The Divine Principle of Rebirth Hello, Spiritual Warrior!

We are now almost halfway through our year, and what better time than now to let go of the things that are no longer working, and embrace the concept of REBIRTH?

We are beings of second chances. And we all go through situations where we wish we could hit the rewind button and change an interaction or situation. And yet there is no way to go back and change the past, all we can do is move forward.

Rebirth

In this video I give you the example of Thomas Edison – who is said to have failed tens of thousands of times as he was working to perfect the creation of the lightbulb. If he had bought into thinking he was a failure, he would have never kept going and brought us – literally – the light he ended up sharing with the world.

Let’s practice this with the mantra ‘Today I begin again’ – and whatever it is that you are going through, whatever hurdle you are trying to conquer, whatever relationship you might be trying to navigate – keep telling yourself this in your mind and heart. Today I begin again.

Rebirth: 20-Minute Guided Meditation

Ready for Rebirth Rebirth

I wanted to share this meditation with you to complement the Life Tools video I share above. And while this meditation mentions looking forward to a new year, I also think it’s perfect for looking ahead to the rest of THIS year – taking inventory for where we are at, creating intentions around what we might like to change, and see the world and our lives with a little bit of a freshened perspective.

Yata Pinde Tat Brahmandi – as is the cosmic mind, so is the personal mind. As is the cosmic body, so is the personal body. I am not in the world, there is no separation. In fact, the whole world rests inside me. Just as every ocean rests in each drop, and like every tall oak tree rests inside every acorn, the universe rests in the core of us. Once we release our separation from the universe, we have a renewed perspective that we are separate from nothing. We can align ourselves with the universe and become a part of the divine flow.

Rebirth happens when we can accept this very moment as perfection. No regrets, no grievances, no judgments. Just perfection, right here and now.

In this meditation, we will drift off into the mantra om moksha ritam.

Om is the universal vibration that heralds our oneness, moksha is liberation and freedom, and ritam is the rhythm of the universe. This mantra is perfect for us to use for our rebirth.

Thank you for joining me in the ever-loving gap. Namaste ✨

Spiritual Practice: Life Tools

Should I Give Up My Spiritual Practice? Hello, Spiritual Warrior!Let me ask you a question – do you ever go through a hard period of time and allow your spiritual or meditation practice to fall away, as you deal with the intensity of life? It’s an interesting thing, how we humans have a tendency to do this. And yet – when we are going through trials in our lives, that is EXACTLY when we need our practice even more!  Whether you are deep in grief, are dealing with struggles and challenges, are at a crossroads, or have hit a fork in the road, that is when you need your practices the most. That is when you should be leaning in hard to allow everything that is coming up to be felt and integrated.  It’s easy for us to want to stay in bed, zone out on our phones or tv, or find all sorts of other unhealthy ways to process what we are going through. Yet numbing out will never help you get to the other side of a rough period of time. But meditation can. You need the strength and courage to get through trying times. Having a meditation practice increases your resilience.  Whatever spiritual practices you love incorporating into your daily life – perhaps a morning spiritual routine or prayer session – keep those practices going, and allow them to be a sanctuary into which you retreat when the going gets tough. P.S.
