Birthday Contest and Book signing Event
It’s my birthday weekend, and I thought I’d spread the love to everyone who follows my blog by offering a b-day contest. This last year has been quite amazing, and I can’t thank you all enough for coming on the ride with me as I shared my stories with you. I have been so lucky on so many levels, and I feel very grateful every day when I sit back down at my laptop to type away. I’m also really happy to announce that I will be attending a signing event on August 10th in Stamford, Connecticut! I really hope I’ll get to meet some of you!! I’ll have lots of swag to share with you all – not to worry! It’s a bit of a trip from Washington, but I’m really looking forward to it! I’ve posted the links and information for attending down below. It’s a FREE Event and authors are being announced daily. There will be VIP events and all sorts of things going on.
When Awakening was first published my only hope was to brighten someone’s day a little. I know how amazing it is to slip into another world when we connect with a book. Not all books are for everyone. That I fully realize! But when there’s a connection, it’s a special thing. In the reading world, there’s nothing as incredible as being haunted by the ghosts of characters we’ve fallen in love with.
I never imagined that in a very short time my stories would connect with some readers in that way. I always hoped for it, but I never knew if they would. I’ll never forget the very first email I received about how connected a reader felt to the characters in The Watchers Trilogy. It meant the world to me and still does. The emails and messages that I continue to get from readers are literally “like the best thing ever”. The community of writers, readers, and bloggers is a really special one and I’m really thankful to be a part of it.
For those of you wondering about Shattered Souls, I’m really thrilled with it and the choices that Logan and Triss have made so far. Sometimes (okay, most of the time) the characters really do call the shots! It’s been so much fun and I’m beyond excited to share Shattered Souls with you as this segment of the Witch Avenue series comes to an end. I still don’t have an exact release date other than to say it will be this spring. Once the cover reveal happens, you’ll know we’re getting close. I normally get the covers way in advance, but this time I’m changing it up a bit.
