CONTEST! It's here! The Witch Avenue Complete Set is available in one collection

I'm so excited to announce that the Witch Avenue series is now available as one complete set! All four books (and a couple deleted scenes) are included in this collection. I've gotten a lot of emails about if I would ever do an omnibus edition and decided I might as well give it a go.
The cover was done by the wonderful Claudia at Phatpuppy Art Studios and the typography was by Ashley at BB Designs. I'm totally in love with the cover. Hope you are too.



I've been working away on Beyond Doubt (Book 2 of the Beyond Love Series) and RecruitZ (Book 1 of the Afterworld Series). I've also started a street team over on Facebook that has been so much fun! I had no idea how awesome that would be.  I'm so lucky to have such awesome members who really make it feel like a community. We've been able to discuss book covers, character names, and of course tons of contests have been happening. I've sent out so many bookmarks and t-shirts that I've lost count. They even suggested a little store where the t-shirts and such could be purchased so I'm working on getting one up and running. So as you can see it's been really productive as well as super fun. Behind the Scenes: Making a cover! Contest!

Hi guys!
I have a new paranormal series coming out this fall and have been sitting on the cover for over a YEAR!! (I also have a contest running so don't forget to leave a comment.) Not showing or talking about this cover has been killing me, btw!! So I thought I would share with you the process that I went through to get the cover made before the reveal on the 27th! (If you are interested in participating in the reveal click here. Bookish Brunette is organizing it.)
I'm also so thrilled with the feedback I've been getting about BEYOND CONTROL! The emails I've received from so many of you have been absolutely amazing! I'm trying to catch up on my inbox and promise to send a reply soon, if I haven't already! It's so awesome to hear that Jason and Gabby's story has touched so many the way it did for me as I wrote it. I'm working away on BEYOND DOUBT and it should be out before we know it! Okay, back to the process of developing a cover!! The first step was choosing a model. I sent a description of the look and feel I was hoping for to the fabulous photographer, Teresa Yeh via Phatpuppy. She then went through and narrowed down a list based on my criteria and sent over a ton of headshots. It was a hard decision. There were so many models that would have been great to use on the cover, but one just stuck out for the overall feel of Rebekah (main character). 
I then discussed the type of shots that I wanted. The props, clothing, jewelry, hair, etc. and I was just so excited to watch it unfold. Claudia with Phatpuppy and Teresa were amazing. They completely ran with my ideas and improved them even... There was a particular leather bracelet that I wanted... and the next thing I knew, they had a leatherworker create it! What an amazing experience.
So the photoshoot happened, and I was so excited to see the proofs. When they arrived in my inbox, it was awesome to see the idea come to life. After agonizing over which shot to use, I finally picked one and that's when Phatpuppy worked her magic. I told her the feel and colors I wanted and she created something absolutely beautiful. Teresa and Claudia are an amazing team!
I wanted to share with you the shot I chose so that you could see the dramatic changes once the reveal happens on the 27th! It's crazy! However, I didn't want to give away too much so I covered most of it with big red letters -lol!! Sorry... Just didn't want to spoil it!!
The first book in the Afterworld Series, RecruitZ,  is coming this fall, and I will be sharing more with you as the months progress...
So here is the model and shot that was used for RecruitZ!! (Yes... I did block out most of it, but ya know!! Good things come to those who wait!!

The BEYOND LOVE series has been such a joy to write. Beyond Control follows the lives of Gabby, Jason, Brandy, and Aaron and each book after will continue to follow these characters, plus more who are added. Necklace Contest! Back from Bermuda! Beyond Control Teasers!

I’m back from the CT signing and a trip to Bermuda! It was a lot of fun, but it’s nice to be home. I can’t wait to share some of our Bermuda highlights…and BEYOND CONTROL teasers…Plus a contest to win a piece of jewelry from Bermuda? Can't go wrong by reading!! I’ve been sharing teasers all week on Facebook. If you don’t follow my page, you might want to for more updates than are posted here. Also, while we were away Lonely Souls snuck into the TOP 100 AMAZON Books! I was so excited and it lasted almost two weeks so thank you to everyone who helped get it up there. Bermuda was really beautiful. We rented a moped to scoot around the island and let me just say that I’m pretty sure the taxi, trolley, and bus drivers get bonuses for knocking off moped drivers. It was crazy watching them go into oncoming traffic directly toward mopeds —inches to spare. However, it was also intense watching the mopeds pass with only feet in between them and the taxis. 

All that being said, my dude drove us around with the best of them! I’m so happy he’s a skilled ‘moped’ driver – lol. I happily rode on the back, pointing out places to stop so I could take pictures or check out a beach. I love mopeds and have driven them around here just fine, but I didn’t trust my abilities when it came to remembering which side of the road to stay on!

#1   “Whoa. Sometimes things are meant to be,” she sang, squeezing my elbow. 
“What are you talking about?” I asked.  There was nothing worth getting in an accident over, especially as the horns blared behind us. 
“That’s what I’m talking about,” she purred, yanking on me to look outside.  “Did you know such perfection was possible?”

Clearly the bubbles had already gotten to her. 
I craned my neck and saw Bernie hustling over to someone, and that’s when I saw him. I didn’t believe my eyes. Men like this didn’t exist in Seattle. We were a city full of hipsters and techies, but here he was… standing right next to our car. I felt as if my world had done a pause. Just the mere sight of him made my heart flutter like I was back in grade school waiting to open my very first Valentine.

I pointed at the Grecian God as he peered into the darkened glass next to us. He did a double tap on the window with his knuckles as his lips twisted into a cocky smile. When he stood back up, I noticed his shirt hugging his flat stomach and began dreaming about my fingers skating across it and started chuckling. 
“What’s so funny?” Brandy quipped and I shook my head. 
“I have no effing idea, but this mirage of a man is turning me into a mess.” 
“He’s no mirage,” she replied. 

#3  “Before what?” he interrupted, pressing a kiss against my knuckles.  “I don’t even know,” I said, my pulse quickening as his eyes locked on mine. 
A wicked grin spread across his lips as he feigned a victory.  “What is it about you?” I started laughing nervously as I thought about my words. Really… what was it about him that was so arresting, so absolutely mind-numbing? It had to be more than that smile. There were a lot of good-looking men out there, so what was it about him that pulled me to him like this? Made me feel like I was the luckiest person in the world?
