Meet the #Author Monday - Landra Graf #zombie #fairytale #romance

Please tell us a bit about yourself: I'm an author who writes alternative history, erotic contemporary, and erotic historical romance. I like to genre hop in my writing and reading. I'm big on exploration and enjoy wonderful tales of the fantastical. My favorite type of book is one with a Happily Ever After and as a mom I hope my stories encourage my children to seek their own adventure/romance in their lives once they are grown.
Tell us about A Rose By Any Other Name: This is a fairytale re-...

BU Full Moon Blog Tour - Alien Moons Rising #scifi #romance #giveaway

OBERON
"Ill met by moonlight, proud Titania." (A Midsummer's Night Dream, William Shakespeare)

Hi, I'm Pippa Jay, author of scifi and the supernatural with a romantic soul. As a writer of science fiction, with the odd paranormal title to my name, moons and moonlight often play a big part in my stories. While I've yet to write a story set on a moon rather than a planet, important meetings often take place by the light of the moon, both ill and good.

In my time travel romance novel Keir (Book One...

Guest Post - KM Fawcett talks Dragons! #fairytale #romance

Thank you, Pippa, for inviting me to the blog to talk dragons! If you're fascinated by dragon lore, as I am, then you know there are many different types of dragons from all over the world. As a practitioner of Okinawan martial arts, I enjoy learning about Asian dragon lore. Before I share some fun facts about Chinese dragons today, let me pour you all a steaming cup of Golden Dragon yellow tea from China. The tea is called yellow not only because of its bright golden infusion color, but also...

Judging A Book By Its Cover - #EPIC #Ariana 2016 #finalists

I am so excited to announce I got notification this morning that two of my book covers (and therefore two of my cover artists) are finalists in EPIC's 2016 Ariana cover awards. Woot! Congrats to Victoria Miller (my former Breathless Press artist) for my superhero romance When Dark Falls, and to Danielle Fine (who has created so much of my beautiful artwork from covers to marketing images, banners, and posters) for time travel romance Keir. Much deserved, ladies, and thank you!

Guest Post - Why We Love Adult Fairy Tales by DF Krieger

My latest release (well, re-release actually) is based off Red Riding Hood. In my story, Red As a Rose, my character Rose finds a shifter in her grandmother’s bed. The story was so popular when it first released, it won an award for best in the Fairy Tale Retelling category. It made me stop and wonder... Why do we love adult fairy tales?
We love so many books, but some stories...they stick with us. Favorite nursery rhymes pop in our heads, even when we are adults. We spent so much of our child...

Read Only Wednesday - The New Hunger by Isaac Marion #zombies #dystopia

Read Only Wednesday is when I highlight a book I've just read, am reading, or have just added to my TBR pile. This week it's The New Hunger by Isaac Marion.

Blurb:
The must-read prequel to the “strange and unexpected” (Audrey Niffenegger) and “highly original” (Seattle Times) zombie love story Warm Bodies—the New York Times bestseller and inspiration for the hit film—from the critically acclaimed author whose clever debut turned the classic horror story on its head.

The end of the world di...
