When Floyd Met Bella: A Retrospective …

This was written December 24, 2009 after Bella came to live with us permanently …

Okay, so about six months ago we decided that our year old American Pitbull Terrier (APBT) , Floyd, needed a companion. He was kind of lagging around the house when we were home and not really playful, but when we’d take him to doggy daycare, he’d come home exhausted and ecstatic. So the decision was made. Little did we know how hard it would be to find another APBT to adopt.

Pre-Order Awakening

I had no idea this was out on Barnes & Noble. I happened to be checking whether Breaking Through had finally shipped from Smashwords and lo and behold I see a cover and the ability to pre-order my full-length novel due out in December. I savor stories the way a foodie savors a good meal. I allow each character to slowly dissolve on my tongue, tasting the flavors of their personality. I observe the presentation of each scene and how the components interrelate, the menu of choices made or discarded. With each good story, I walk away wishing for more.
