10 is better than 22: Lucifer Season 4 Discussion

So, this content is a BIT out of place for me, but I don’t care. I can’t stop gushing about Season 4 of Lucifer. I was worried about what Netflix was going to do to this awesome show, but I shouldn’t have feared. I have lots of thoughts and feelings, so let’s get to it!

ARC Review: Aurora Rising by Jay Kristoff and Amie Kaufman

I got this book as an ARC. That doesn’t mean I read it before it came out. Still, this series is by the people behind my favorite YA scifi of all time, the Illuminae Files. I screamed when I picked up the ARC. Did I enjoy the book? Well, that’s what the video is for.

American President Reading Challenge Ep. 1 – Washington to Jackson

Hey guys! Doing some video back posting on the blog because live has been crazy, but not to worry. I haven’t been making a ton of videos in the last year since I’ve posted. This one is about a reading challenge I started that is still ongoing where I try to read at least one biography on every United States President! Why? Watch and find out!

Review: Red Scrolls of Magic by Cassandra Clare & Wesley Chu

I have thoughts and feelings and lots of SQUEES for this book. Also, I have some critical comments in here somewhere. Getting back in the swing of this reviewing thing!

I Quit My Job and Other Life News!

So this video is kind of long and wonky, but that’s what happens when you’re rusty. I have since fixed the problem with my video editor. It took a tech team. No, I don’t know why. Let’s move on.

I cry near the end here. Whatever the quality, the content is important to me. Listen, I’ve been keeping it real this long and I might as well keep it that way. This is the story of the impact of depression and money struggles–with a happy ending!

Betwixt the Books Review: “I’ll Be Gone in the Dark” by Michelle McNamara

Possibly my favorite thing about this is that Michaela apologizes in the video for not getting the video up on the channel for like 3 months and now I’m posting this here months after that so like listen. We are sometimes overwhelmed by life. Anyways! Here’s us talking about what we think is one of the best true crime books in the ENTIRE GENRE!

Review: Wildcard + Warcross by Marie Lu

If you don’t want to be spoiled for Warcross, never fear! If you don’t want to be spoiled for Wildcard, this may not be the place for you. Fair warning!

Anyways, when I first read Wildcard … I had thoughts. They were not all great. Then, I read Warcross. I FELT SO WRONG. So now I’m apologizing for my own assumptions. Watch to find out why!

ARC Review: Mirage by Somaiya Daud

I released this video on the channel when the book actually wasn’t out yet but forgot to post it here. Listen. I’m a fallible human being. Anyways. This is one of the ARCs from BEA that I wasn’t sure was worth getting. After all, the author wasn’t there and I sat in line for like 2 hours. Was it worth it, you ask? YES, YES IT WAS. Why? That’s what the video is for!

ARC Review: Seafire by Natalie C. Parker

I am mad about 3 things. Very, very mad. I also give this book 4.5 stars. How does this figure, you ask? Guess you’re going to have to watch the review to find out!

A Touch of Gold by Annie Sullivan ARC Review

I’m actually reviewing a BEA ARC on time! I give this one 3 stars for being an enjoyable adventure but not having as much world building or character development as I would like.
