Unpopular Opinion? A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J. Maas Review + Discussion
Don’t worry guys, I’m nowhere near off the SJM bandwagon. I’m just saying that I had some plot and character issues with this book, which isn’t normal. The review itself is spoiler free, but there IS a spoiler section that I give you plenty of warning about! I’m really looking to engage with you guys, so give me a shout in the comments.

A Huge Book Haul and a Life Update in One!
I thought I could do a little book haul for this week, but it turns out I’ve acquired a looooot more books than I originally thought. Also, at the end there is a little life update for you guys about my most recent crazy life adventures and why I’ve got a new background to my videos. Remember to leave a comment and tell me what to read next!

Review: Talking as Fast as I Can by Lauren Graham
Back again! With more nonfiction! I’m really sorry I can’t kick this but I hope you like it! I loved this book more than Princess Diarist, especially because it had more cohesion to it. It just wasn’t entirely what I expected, either…
Also, I really thought I’d fixed the video proportion problem but it still exported this way? I may need more technical expertise than I have with the new editor I’m using…

Review: The Princess Diarist by Carrie Fisher
I had such high hopes for this audiobook, but was genuinely disappointed. Carrie Fisher is a beautiful writer, but this book was not what I was expected at all.
Also, I’m using a new camera and apparently exported the video in the wrong size. Whoops. Don’t worry about it. Don’t watch my face. Just … enjoy I guess?

Review: “Caraval” by Stephanie Garber
I’M BACK! It literally took me three tries to edit this and get it to export, so the editing isn’t a shiny as it maybe could be because I was really getting tired of the exercise. Perhaps that is fitting, as this book isn’t quite as shiny as it looks either, but it does look VERY, VERY cool.

I’m Currently Reading Too Much, Please Help!
I am currently reading too many things, and I can’t finish a one. Some of them are harder to finish by myself, like my story time books with Michaela, but some of these are just plain old my fault. Also, Name of the Wind is a REALLY LONG AUDIOBOOK, OKAY?

January 2017 Wrap Up
This is a bit later than I anticipated, but here it is! I read 5 books in the first month of 2017, and I completed 5 PopSugar challenges. It was also a strange conglomeration of a bunch of different genres, physical books, audiobooks, etc. I’ve only review 2 of these on the channel so far, so I promise there is something interesting in here!

Catherine the Great: Portrait of a Woman by Robert K. Massie Review
I fully accept that nobody might care about this review but me, but the feminist in me had some things to say about it so I couldn’t help myself. Yes, this is a nonfiction biography BUT it is considered the definitive biography on Catherine the Great so if you care I guess this would be a book for you? I’m probably talking to dead air here. That’s cool. I’ll keep my nerd self over here.
