Supplemental #6 | American Presidential Reading Challenge

Up until now, these have had a theme. Now it’s just anarchy. I’ve got a few more books I’ve read that aren’t my biographies of a specific president. Actually, these might even be more interesting. Enjoy!

Trying the Try a Chapter Tag (Young Adult Fantasy Edition)

I honestly thought I wouldn’t have content for today, and then Michaela suggested trying the try a chapter tag. I picked 6 books I really need to get reading, and try the first chapter from each one. I actually had a lot of fun with it, and I hope that you’ll let me know if I end up ranking them correctly!

3 Mini Romance Reviews (with bizarre connections)

On their own, I might not have reviewed these books. It isn’t that they aren’t good, just that I didn’t have enough to say to warrant taking up your time. HOWEVER, reading these three books in a row made for some super bizarre connections that I still just can’t get over! Has this ever happened to you? Let me know!

A Court of Silver Flames: Spoiler-Free Review + Spoiler Discussion

I have way, way too many feelings about this book. Some of them are SO good. Some of them are … not as good. Overall, this book exceeded my expectations but it also did something that drove me SO crazy I had to add a spoiler bit to the end. Don’t worry, you’ll be warned when that happens!

The Illuminae Files by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff | Series Review

I have been telling myself I would film this video for a while now, but something kept coming up and then I straight up forgot. Don’t worry, my feelings about this series are just as fresh as ever! …especially Obsidio

Podcast Recommendations | Political and Historical

I have an admission to make. I have not been reading very much lately because I’ve become obsessed with some podcasts that have replaced my audiobooks. In this video, I recommend some of the best I found and admit how bad this obsession has gotten with one in particular.

Presidential Compare and Contrast | Supplementals #5

In this supplemental episode of my American Presidents Reading Challenge, I focus on books I read that compare and contrast two or more presidents in the same book. These have become my favorites of late, and there are some really good ones in here!

Shipped by Angie Hockman | Romance Novel Review

Don’t worry guys; in between all these presidents, I’m still reading a LOT of romance novels. The thing is that, sometimes, I don’t have anything interesting to say. That is not the case (I think) with this one – which at once was super cute but also set off some pet peeves of mine. Let me explain!

Behind the Scenes at the White House | Supplementals #4

It’s time for another supplemental episode of my American Presidents Reading Challenge! For this one, I’ve corralled all my books that talk about life at the White House behind the scenes, without the president or presidency as the focus. Enjoy!
