Annihilation by Jeff Vandermeer | Betwixt the Books Review
We finally read another book for book club! I absolutely thought I was going to hate it, but I am actually amazed by this reading experience. Michaela has also seen the movie, so there is a brief discussion of that as well as my continued “I cannot believe how much I liked this book.”

Tier Ranking Historical Romance Novels I Pandemic-Panic Read
I filmed this months and months and months ago and it is just seeing the light of day because it was the most difficult filming and editing I’ve yet to do. This stuff doesn’t come naturally to me, but I wanted to stretch for the fun of it. Between March and May of last year, I read too many historical romance novels – a genre I had never read before this, really – to try to stop the panic. Not sure if it worked, but we got this video so. Here we are.
