“I love books, by the way, way more than movies. Movies tell you what to think. A good book lets you choose a few thoughts for yourself. Movies show you the pink house. A good book tells you there's a pink house and lets you paint some of the finishing touches, maybe choose the roof style,park your own car out front. My imagination has always topped anything a movie could come up with. Case in point, those darned Harry Potter movies. That was so not what that part-Veela-chick, Fleur Delacour, looked like.”

I really wanted you to come visit us here in Brazil, but unfortunately no publisher is smart enough to launch their series of Highlander here for us.
There's a song that just makes me think of the nine whenever I hear it. It's called Warriors by Imagine Dragons. I can imagine Dani loving it, too. ^_^

Karen, thanks for friending me! I was very inspired by what you wrote about your books. One does have to be true to the muse. I have tried to connect with an agent forever. You are so lucky to have a publisher. I almost had an agent for COSBY'S LOVE CHILD and then her husband tried to talk my subject into writing her own book, which she never will, and all went south. I love writing and won't quit, but I have also realized I write to see what is going to come out. I'm always surprised and think, "Wow, where did that come from?" I always have stories going on in my head and know there are not enough years to write them all. Good luck to you in all that you do. I will look to you as a mentor for you are way ahead of me!
