'Masters of the Universe' Star Gives a Huge Update, Complete With First He-Man Photo

Following in the footsteps of the legendary Dolph Lundgren, Nicholas Galitzine will wield the power of Grayskull as the first cinematic version of He-Man of the 21st century. The 2026 version of Masters of the Universe is shrouded in mystery, though, as of Father's Day, 2025, Galitzine himself has dropped a massive update.

"Well, that’s a wrap on Masters of the Universe," Galitzine wrote in the caption to an Instagram post on June 15. "It has been an honour shouldering the responsibility of playing Adam and He-Man. It’s been the role of a lifetime, and I put everything into it. There’s not much I can show you, but I am so proud of the movie we’ve made. Thanks to our amazing cast and crew for all your hard work."

That caption accompanied an incredible photo of Galitzine as He-Man, the first full photo of him as the character that's been officially revealed.

Although He-Man and the Masters of the Universe became a popular toy line and animated series in 1984, there has not been a live-action version of the fantasy hero since the 1987 film, starring Lundgren. The new version of the movie has a very big cast, including Galitzine as He-Man, Camila Mendes as Teela, Alison Brie as Evil-Lyn, Idris Elba as Man-at-Arms, Morena Baccarin as the Sorceress, and Jared Leto as He-Man's arch nemesis, Skeletor.

The film is directed by Travis Knight, with a script from Chris Butler. It is produced by Mattel, the same toy company that created the original toys, and was responsible for 2023's smash hit film, Barbie

Will Masters of the Universe be the Barbie of 2026? Who knows. For now, it's clear that Galitzine has the power.

‘Showgirls’ Star’s Honest 5-Word Review of the Cult Movie

It has been nearly 30 years since Showgirls arrived in theaters across America, and Elizabeth Berkley is speaking out about the film.

As Variety reports, the 52-year-old star of Paul Verhoeven’s controversial stripper drama made a surprise appearance at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery on Saturday night, where the guilty pleasure movie was screening as part of Cinespia’s Pride Month celebration.

Related: Review: With a 75% RT Score, Is Wes Anderson’s 'The Phoenician Scheme' Worth Your Time?

Berkley seemed truly thrilled to be at the showing, and to be celebrating the film with an audience who helped turn the box office bomb into a cult classic. “Happy Pride,” she told the crowd. “I love you guys so much. You have no idea, I love you so much. I just want to honor this extraordinary, powerful, bold, magical, sexy, strong, resilient LGBTQ+ community.”

“You guys saw me before anybody else saw me,” Berkley said. “You believed in me before anybody and you believed in this film and found yourself in Nomi.”

Showgirls, the first NC-17-rated movie to receive a wide release, was a dud at the box office, earning just under $38 million on a $45 million budget. But it was embraced by the LGBTQ community, both for its campiness and its female-driven storyline that many viewed as a queer narrative.

Berkley—who stars in the film as Nomi Malone, a dancer who heads to Las Vegas with dreams of making it a showgirl but making ends meets as a stripper—thanked the crowd for keeping the film in the cinematic conversation for three decades.

“Honestly if I had to play Nomi and go through what I went through in 1995 to give you Nomi I would do it again, again and again,” she said. “Here’s the thing, we are here 30 years later—which is crazy—and you guys didn’t just embrace it, you rescued it. You have elevated it. You’ve made this movie what it is and what it was intended to be and I’m forever grateful.”

And just what was the movie intended to be? Well, according to the former Saved by the Bell star” “It’s about vindication, reclamation and it’s about owning our truths and owning our stories and not waiting for someone else to approve it, get it, to validate it, to just own who you are like Nomi and be brave and bold. I will forever have your back the way you had mine and I love that this film has brought you joy, too.”

Despite the film’s negative reviews, Berkley stands behind it’s message, describing it was “way ahead of its time.”

“Way, way, way ahead of its time,” she noted. “But I am so grateful for you.”

Proceeds from the screening were shared with The Los Angeles LGBT Center and The Trevor Project.

Judd Apatow Told Jason Segel the Only Way He’d ‘Make It’ Was to Write His Own Material

Jason Segel’s emergence as a top-tier actor, specifically across the comedy genre, isn’t entirely thanks to director and producer Judd Apatow, but he may deserve at least a tip of the cap.

Segel first made his mark on Hollywood alongside a star-studded cast on the hit show Freaks and Geeks in 1999, which Apatow produced and developed. However, it was a back-to-back movie roles with Apatow in 2007 and 2008 that one could easily argue put him "on the map."

The first was somewhat of a more minor role in the popular comedy Knocked Up alongside Seth Rogen, Katherine Heigl, Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann. However, Segel's breakout lead role came in the movie he wrote and Apatow produced, Forgetting Sarah Marshall.

The duo teamed up again in 2012 for The Five-Year Engagement and This Is 40. Segel and Apatow undeniably work well together, and part of that may have stemmed from the former accepting some brutally honest and probably unexpected advice from the Emmy Award-winner.

As Segel revealed during The Hollywood Reporter Roundtable for comedy actors, Apatow explained the only way he would make it in Hollywood.

"[Apatow] also told me the only way you’re going to make it is if you write your own material," Segel revealed was Apatow's message.

The longtime actor also added that the best advice he ever received came from an ex-girlfriend. The comment was so brutally honest that it's hard to envision anyone other than your partner laying the truth out in the fashion she did for Segel.

In short: Lean into being "weird."

"You should never take parts that another actor could do...You’re a weird guy. Lean into it. Only take things that you can’t imagine someone else playing," Segel said an ex told him.

It's obvious Segel took the advice from both to heart, but his reaction to Apatow's comments is apparent in his work as a writer. As previously mentioned, Segel first wrote Forgetting Sarah Marshall, and followed that up by writing The Muppets (2011), The Five-Year Engagement (2012) and Sex Tape (2014).

Most recently, Segel wrote the wildly popular Apple TV+ show Shrinking, which was renewed for Season 3 after two impressive debut seasons. Segel was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in a Television Series - Musical or Comedy in 2024 and 2025 for his role in the show.

His co-star, Harrison Ford, was also nominated for a Golden Globe in 2025 for Best Supporting Actor in a Series, Miniseries or Television Film.

Popular North Carolina Restaurant Closes After a Decade

For about a decade, Bakersfield Tacos restaurant served Mexican food to Charlotte, NC, residents.

Over the years, the restaurant established a reputation as one of the city's most popular Mexican restaurants, according to the Charlotte Observer.

Now the restaurant is closing, the newspaper reported.

WSOC-TV reporter Joe Bruno broke the news, writing on X, "Just got off the phone with Bakersfield in Dilworth and a worker confirmed to me the restaurant is indeed closing for good. Last night of service is Friday. I wasn't given a reason for the closure."

That television station reported that the restaurant is one of several to leave the area in recent years.

In March, the neighborhood also lost JJ’s Red Hots and Lebowski’s Neighborhood Grill & Sport Bar, according to WSOC-TV. The restaurant was known for its "Mexican street fare" and tequila.

"Serving up authentic, Mexican street fare, and a selection of over 100 tequilas and American whiskeys. Bakersfield is a spot where the food is simple, the service is warm and the atmosphere is alive," its website says. The website lists six other locations but does not list the Charlotte-area restaurant anymore.

The chain announced the Dilworth restaurant in 2014.

"Mexican eatery and bar Bakersfield plans to open in Charlotte's Dilworth neighborhood in early summer," the website still says. "Construction of the 4,000-square-foot restaurant — named Bakersfield East Boulevard — is slated to begin any day, says Alex Blust, one of the owners," it adds.

"It will be at 1301 East Boulevard, the former site of Longboards Tap and Taco. Longboards closed last fall."

Jenny Boelter, Vance Boelter's Wife, Questioned at Traffic Stop: Report

Vance Boelter, the Minnesota shooting suspect who is the subject of a massive manhunt, is married to wife Jenny Boelter.

On June 15, a Minnesota television station reported that Boelter's wife was questioned after a traffic stop.

KSTP-TV reported that "a traffic stop at a convenience store located near Onamia late Saturday morning involved a vehicle which was carrying Boelter’s wife, as well as three other relatives."

The television station noted that the vehicle allegedly "contained a weapon, ammunition, cash and passports," according to sources, and added, "However, to our knowledge, no one has been arrested – just questioned.

A witness told KSTP that a "dozen law enforcement squads converged on the vehicle and remained on the scene for two to three hours."

Although the television station didn't name Boelter's wife, the New York Post gave her name as Jenny Boelter. That is confirmed by his father's obituary, which gives his wife's name as Jenny.

According to KTSP, it's not clear whether the traffic stop was random or whether law enforcement officials were tracking the vehicle.

To be clear, law enforcement authorities have not publicly implicated anyone other than Vance Boelter in the shooting deaths of Minnesota state Rep. Melissa Hortman and her husband, and the wounding of state Sen. John Hoffman and his wife.

However, they did say at a June 15 press conference that they were still investigating whether Vance Boelter acted alone. In a series of press conferences, authorities said that Vance Boelter was impersonating a police officer when he went to the Democratic lawmakers' homes. He also had a manifesto and a hit list, they said.

, Boelter said in a video that he and his wife "have four daughters and a son."

According to its website, Boelter was director of security patrols at Praetorian Guard Security Services, described by the Star-Tribune as "a residential armed home security company" where his wife Jenny worked as president.

"Jenny brings years of organizational operations and logistical oversight to the team. She has served and continues to serve on numerous boards and has helped organizations reach world class effectiveness," the security company's website says.

"Jenny is ready to help get your security needs in order for your home and your property so Praetorian Guard Security Services can give you the best coverage available!"

Rory McIlroy Expresses 'Frustration' With Media

Over the past several weeks, golf superstar Rory McIlroy has caused quite a stir with his behavior during recent major championships, as he refused to speak to the media after six consecutive rounds at major tournaments. But he officially broke his silence at the U.S. Open on Saturday.

Following his round on Saturday, McIlroy spoke to reporters for the first time all tournament after previously refusing to speak to the media throughout the entire PGA Championship.

McIlroy, who struggled mightily throughout the tournament with a total score of +10, was asked whether or not his recent refusal to speak to the media had to do with his poor play. McIlroy insisted that was not the case and that his refusal was more related to a general frustration with the media.

“No, not really,” McIlroy responded, according to Awful Announcing. “It’s more of a frustration with you guys. I’m just… I don’t know, I have been totally available for the last few years. I’m not saying, maybe not you guys. Maybe just the whole thing. Again, it’s not out of the ordinary, I have done it before. I’m just doing it a little more often.”

While his recent refusal to speak to the media has caused a bit of a stir, McIlroy does not seem all that concerned about it.

McIlroy is obviously a veteran player who is one of the biggest stars on the Tour and has been integral in helping the PGA Tour in its rivalry with LIV Golf. As a result, McIlroy seems to think that he has

“I feel like I have earned the right to do whatever I want to do,” McIlroy said.

Given McIlroy's recent trend of skipping media availabilities, there has been some speculation that the PGA Tour may begin mandating that players speak to the media during tournaments.

As McIlroy has continuously pointed out, players are not currently required to speak to the media during tournaments. But he insists that he is not "daring" the Tour to change its media policy with his actions.

“Nah, I’m not daring them to do anything,” said McIlroy. “I hope they don’t change it, because it’s a nice luxury to have. But I am just pointing out the fact that we have the ability to do it.”

We'll have to see whether or not this sparks a change in policy.

Josh Duhamel Says Testosterone Therapy Helped Him ‘Get His Mojo Back’

Josh Duhamel isn’t afraid to say it: Testosterone replacement therapy changed his life.

People reported that the 52-year-old actor recently spoke candidly at the Men’s Health Lab event in New York about why he decided to start treatment, and what it’s done for him both in and out of the gym.

"I took an inventory of how I was feeling," Duhamel said. "I wasn’t quite where I was five or ten years ago."

After getting tested, he learned his testosterone levels were low, and the decision to start therapy followed soon after.

Duhamel said the shift has been dramatic. "I literally got my mojo back," he said, crediting the treatment with boosting his strength, drive, and overall wellness.

While some men may approach hormone therapy with hesitation, Duhamel is upfront about his reasons, including wanting to keep up with his much younger wife, 31-year-old model Audra Mari.

"It’s important for her that I stay as young and virile as long as I can," he admitted.

But TRT isn’t just about his marriage. The actor, who shares two sons—one with Mari and another with ex-wife Fergie—said the therapy has made him a better dad.

"You don’t taper off like you would normally. There's a mental and physical edge. You've got that desire to go out and achieve, to show up for your family, to be fully present."

Now, Duhamel is taking that passion for health a step further. He recently launched Gatlan Health, a new wellness brand focused on helping men regain their energy and confidence through modern solutions and holistic support.

For Duhamel, the choice to go public with his story wasn’t just about transparency. It was about letting other men know they’re not alone.

"It was one of those things I didn't want to talk about, and neither did anyone I asked," he said. "But now I realize the impact it can have. And honestly, I feel better than I have in years."

Livvy Dunne Turns Heads at LSU's College World Series Game in Omaha

Livvy Dunne was the talk of the town on Saturday when LSU took on Alabama at the Men's College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska.

The 22-year-old former gymnast showed up and showed out wearing a Paul Skenes jersey that was half LSU (on the front) and half Pittsburgh Pirates (on the back). The jersey, of course, pays homage to her beau, Skenes.

Dunne drew a ton of attention upon arrival at Charles Schwab Field, from when she walked the bowels of the stadium to when she finally reached her seat. Once there, fans snapped photos and some even flocked to her. At one point, in images shared on social media, Dunne could also be seen FaceTiming the MLB star.

In an interview, Dunne said she had to come back to Omaha to support her Tigers, who won the national championship there in 2023. The reporter also asked her where she copped the custom jersey, and Dunne said someone sent it to her! She said she couldn't recall who at the moment, but chances are requests for the unique jersey will soon fly through the roof.

Dunne had a lot to cheer about on Saturday, as the Tigers went on to beat the Razorbacks, 4-1.

Kade Anderson, a projected top-five overall pick in the ML Draft next month, limited Arkansas to just three hits and one run in seven-plus innings pitch. He struck out seven batters.

With the win, LSU moves on to play UCLA on Monday night.

Seattle Airport Locks Down After Shocking In-Flight Threat

Travelers at one of the nation’s busiest airports faced unexpected chaos Saturday when a potential onboard threat forced authorities to temporarily shut down operations.

The Mirror reported that flights were halted, runways closed, and passengers removed from at least one aircraft as officials launched an immediate security investigation.

The incident began as a plane was taxiing for takeoff. A passenger allegedly made a threatening comment about a bomb that prompted crew members to alert security.

Officials quickly took action, bringing the aircraft to a stop on a remote runway and evacuating all passengers as a precaution. One individual was taken into custody, and the rest were brought back to the terminal for additional screening.

The Federal Aviation Administration ordered a full ground stop as the investigation unfolded. Incoming flights were either diverted or forced to circle nearby airspace, while departures were held at the gate. The shutdown caused ripple delays across the country as air traffic bottlenecked.

While no dangerous items were ultimately found on board, the swift response highlights the heightened caution under which airports operate in the current security climate. Officials emphasized that protocol was followed and credited the crew for acting decisively.

Runway closures remained in effect for over an hour as law enforcement combed the scene. Normal operations gradually resumed by midafternoon, though delays and cancellations persisted throughout the day.

All runways will be open soon and SEA Airport is returning to normal operations. Check with your airline on flight status. https://t.co/cd6GfEUner

— Seattle-Tacoma Intl. Airport (@flySEA) June 14, 2025

Airline representatives said they were working with federal and local authorities and stressed their priority remains passenger safety.

No further details were released about the individual in custody, and investigators have not disclosed whether formal charges would be filed.

For travelers, it was a tense reminder of how quickly plans can unravel. What began as a routine flight became an unexpected disruption. One that left many passengers grounded and shaken, but ultimately safe thanks to the quick actions by authorities.

This New Hershey’s Bar Is Healthier Than It Looks and Packed With Protein

The line between indulgence and nutrition just got a little blurrier thanks to Hershey’s. The iconic candy brand is leaning harder into the high-protein trend with the launch of its One x Hershey’s Double Chocolate Protein Bar, designed to satisfy your sweet tooth while helping you meet your macros.

Made with real Hershey’s cocoa and studded with chocolate chips, the new bar delivers a rich, chocolaty flavor with just 1 gram of sugar and 18 grams of protein.

It’s the latest move by The Hershey Company to expand beyond the candy aisle and into the protein space. The reason? Consumers are increasingly hunting for better-for-you snacks with staying power.

Over the past few years, protein-packed products have surged in popularity. From cottage cheese making a comeback to protein-enhanced cereals, pastas, and bagels crowding store shelves, it seems protein is everywhere.

Hershey’s is capitalizing on this shift with its brands One and Fulfil, which have already rolled out several treats that combine classic candy flavors with functional ingredients.

One’s lineup includes flavors like Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and S’mores, and earlier this year it dropped a Hershey’s Cookies ‘n’ Crème protein bar. The Double Chocolate edition builds on that success by doubling down on the indulgence without the sugar crash.

It’s not just gym-goers fueling this trend.

With consumers looking for snacks that keep them full between meals or after workouts, the protein bar category is no longer niche. Hershey’s has figured out how to give people the flavor they crave while sliding in the fuel they need.

The new Double Chocolate bars are already hitting shelves in select markets (and on Amazon) and will roll out nationwide soon. And if this launch goes the way of its predecessors, expect even more nostalgic flavors to get a protein-powered makeover.

So whether you’re lifting weights or just lifting yourself through the afternoon slump, Hershey’s latest might be your new go-to.
