Josh Duhamel Says Testosterone Therapy Helped Him ‘Get His Mojo Back’

Josh Duhamel isn’t afraid to say it: Testosterone replacement therapy changed his life.

People reported that the 52-year-old actor recently spoke candidly at the Men’s Health Lab event in New York about why he decided to start treatment, and what it’s done for him both in and out of the gym.

"I took an inventory of how I was feeling," Duhamel said. "I wasn’t quite where I was five or ten years ago."

After getting tested, he learned his testosterone levels were low, and the decision to start therapy followed soon after.

Duhamel said the shift has been dramatic. "I literally got my mojo back," he said, crediting the treatment with boosting his strength, drive, and overall wellness.

While some men may approach hormone therapy with hesitation, Duhamel is upfront about his reasons, including wanting to keep up with his much younger wife, 31-year-old model Audra Mari.

"It’s important for her that I stay as young and virile as long as I can," he admitted.

But TRT isn’t just about his marriage. The actor, who shares two sons—one with Mari and another with ex-wife Fergie—said the therapy has made him a better dad.

"You don’t taper off like you would normally. There's a mental and physical edge. You've got that desire to go out and achieve, to show up for your family, to be fully present."

Now, Duhamel is taking that passion for health a step further. He recently launched Gatlan Health, a new wellness brand focused on helping men regain their energy and confidence through modern solutions and holistic support.

For Duhamel, the choice to go public with his story wasn’t just about transparency. It was about letting other men know they’re not alone.

"It was one of those things I didn't want to talk about, and neither did anyone I asked," he said. "But now I realize the impact it can have. And honestly, I feel better than I have in years."
