I took a group of people to Greece this past September for a keto trip of a lifetime! I always make friends for life with the people who come on my adventures around the World and 2 of my new friends are Vito and Aubrey!

Vito and Aubrey are from Toronto Canada and they own a successful restaurant. Vito is quite the chef and I learned a lot from him when we were in Greece.

WHERE THE RECIPE FOR PURE PROTEIN NOODLES CAME FROM

They recently visited us in Maui and they cooked for us at the Keto Condo! Vito made us the BEST pure protein noodles with a truffle cream sauce! He also made garlic shrimp to go with the dish since he knew I loved shrimp (I ate Shrimp Sakanaki in Greece just about every single day!).

I never made pure protein noodles like this before! They are made from water, gelatin and egg white powder. They told me they adapted Indigo Nili’s recipe and it is an absolute hit! Even Kai ate the leftovers the next day and said it was even better leftover!

HOW TO MAKE PURE PROTEIN NOODLES

Winter can be long and dark. Sometimes you need something to help lift your moods during the long dark days. Many of you know I am in love with my new sauna blanket and it helps get through winter in many ways!

1. It is great for your skin!

I always notice my skin gets so dry in the cold Wisconsin winters! My feet are dry, my face is dry, my lips are dry, my hair needs extra conditioner. Winter dries up our bodies and leaves our skin dry and vulnerable because of the unstable humidity in the air.

If you spend a few minutes in the sauna, your skin will thank you. Sauna reconstructs the skin and helps moisturize it to bring back the glow you miss.

2. Helps your immune system!

Doing regular saunas improves your blood circulation.

A long chilly winter day gets most of us anxious and edgy. Take a mini vacation to the sauna to help your mind unwind and your body rejuvenate!

Especially if you roll in the snow after the sauna (which I loved doing in high school with friends), the hot and cold therapy will give you a huge dose of endorphins to boost your mood!

If you haven’t noticed, I do not allow advertising on my site.

I just didn’t agree with some of the products that were advertised. They were keto products, but they were unhealthy and I would never personally eat most of the products. It was hard to say no to blog advertisements; they pay thousands of dollars a month, but I just felt uncomfortable about having the products I didn’t recommend on my website.

Instead, I have created a shopping list where you can find all the healthy ingredients that are difficult to find in the grocery store (and if you do find them, they are often very expensive).

I have done a lot of detective work and found the lowest prices on for all of the products I use and love. Everything from food, pantry items, kitchen tools, supplements, and skin products are on my list.

I rarely waste time in the grocery store because I find everything online for a way better price!

Zero Carb Mozzarella Sticks   [image error] Print Prep time 8 mins Cook time 8 mins Total time 16 mins   Author: Maria Emmerich Serves: 8 Ingredients 1 pound ground beef 1 teaspoon Redmond Real salt 8 mozzarella string cheese 8 thin slices sugar free bacon (click HERE to find) Instructions Preheat the oven or an air fryer to 400°F. Place the ground beef in a large bowl and season with the salt. Use your hands to combine well. Divide the beef into 8 equal portions and form each portion into a ¼-inch-thick rectangle, about 3½ inches by 2 inches. Place one string cheese in the center of a patty. Use your fingers to seal the patty around the cheese; be sure to seal the edges well or the cheese will melt out. Repeat with the remaining patties and cheese. Wrap a slice of bacon around the entire patty, then secure the ends of the bacon with toothpicks. Repeat with the remaining patties and pieces of bacon. Place the wrapped patties on a rimmed baking sheet lined with parchment paper if using the oven or in the air fryer basket in a single layer if using an air fryer and bake or cook for about 8 minutes, flipping after 4 minutes, until the bacon is cooked to your liking. Remove the mozzarella sticks from the oven or air fryer and let cool for a few minutes before consuming or the melted cheese will burn your mouth. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. To reheat, place in a preheated 400°F oven or air fryer for about 3 minutes, or until heated through. The BEST Keto Cookie Cut Outs   Print Prep time 10 mins Cook time 15 mins Total time 25 mins   Author: Maria Emmerich Serves: 12 Ingredients ½ cup butter, softened 1 cup Swerve Confectioner’s or powdered allulose (see NOTE) 1 egg 3 cups blanched almond flour 1½ tablespoons Further Food gelatin (use code MariaMindBody to save) 1 teaspoon baking soda ¾ teaspoon Redmond Real salt FROSTING: ½ cup butter, softened 4 oz cream cheese, softened ¾ cup Swerve confectioners (or equivalent) 1 teaspoon almond or vanilla extract 1 teaspoon lemon juice ¼ teaspoon Redmond Real Salt OPTIONAL: Natural Food coloring Instructions In a large bowl, place the butter and sweetener and use a hand mixer to blend on high until fluffy. Add the egg and blend another minute. In another bowl, place the almond flour, gelatin, baking soda and salt. Stir well to combine. Add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture and mix until well combined. Form into a ball, cover and chill for at least one hour or overnight. Minutes before you are ready to bake the cookies, preheat oven to 325 degrees F (NOTE: If using allulose preheat to 300 degrees F). Place parchment onto 2 large baking sheets. Set aside. Place the dough in between 2 pieces of parchment and use a rolling pin to roll the dough out to ¼ of an inch thickness. Remove the top parchment and use cookie cutters to make cookies. Place the cookies onto the prepared baking sheets. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges just begin to brown. Remove from the oven and allow the cookies cool before removing from the baking sheets. To make the frosting. Using a hand mixer, beat the sweetener, butter, softened cream cheese in a medium-sized bowl until smooth. Add the extracts, lemon juice and salt; beat until well combined. Taste and adjust sweetness to your liking. Add natural food coloring if desired. Once the cookie cut outs are completely cooled, decorate with frosting! Notes Nutritional Information:
