Easy Cottage Cheese Ranch Dressing

Easy Cottage Cheese Ranch Dressing

HOW TO MAKE COTTAGE CHEESE RANCH DRESSING

If you haven’t noticed, I do not allow advertising on my site.

I just didn’t agree with some of the products that were advertised. They were keto products, but they were unhealthy and I would never personally eat most of the products. It was hard to say no to blog advertisements; they pay thousands of dollars a month, but I just felt uncomfortable about having the products I didn’t recommend on my website.

Instead, I have created a shopping list where you can find all the healthy ingredients that are difficult to find in the grocery store (and if you do find them, they are often very expensive).

I have done a lot of detective work and found the lowest prices on for all of the products I use and love. Everything from food, pantry items, kitchen tools, supplements, and skin products are on my list.

I rarely waste time in the grocery store because I find everything online for a way better price!

All you have to do is click on the words in my recipes and it will take you right to the correct item. If you add them to your cart I get a tiny commission that helps me afford to keep practicing recipes (Recipe experimenting can costing me a fortune!…but I love helping!).

I also have GREAT HOLIDAY GIFT IDEAS on the list!

You can get my full shipping list HERE. Doesn’t Cora look AWESOME??? I am SO PROUD OF her!

“Hi Maria and Craig, I finally reached my goal!

I’ve lost 200lbs from my highest weight of 324 lbs in 2016 to my current weight of 124 lbs.

I found Maria Emmerich. I had my macros figured out by Craig. Last Thanksgiving – Christmas I bought your cookbooks and stayed keto and protein sparing since then. I never lacked a nice desert, Christmas coffee cake or treasured meal. I felt there was no need to ever eat sugar again with such good recipes.

I still do several protein sparing days a week and keto the other 3-4 days. I’m still an addict and still addicted to sugar. However for the first time in my life I know I can have good food and not feel deprived following your eating plan

I see my doctor Aug 21st & can’t wait for him to weigh me. He’s never known me to weight 124 lbs.

When I was eating sugar and wheat I had severe autoimmune issues and was in pain a lot with arthritis and anxiety. At one point a couple of my tests were so out of range my doc sent me to a specialist who basically said if you lose a lot of weight your sgot test would be lower and you’d feel better. My inflammatory markers were always high when I weighed over 200lbs. Now I feel great and have boundless energy. I walk 7-10 miles a day and take care of my ailing husband  all day/night. I know I could never take care of him if I was eating sugar and wheat and grains!

Thank you so much for your help! Thank you for your kindness and willingness to share your knowledge. Thank you for my life of enjoying healthy eating!

“Dear Maria Emmerich,

My name is Jeremiah. I am 19 years old. When I was 8 months old my nanny tried to kill me causing me to have a Traumatic Brain Injury.

The doctors told my Mom I would be lucky if I lived and if I did live I would be basically bed bound with feeding tube and unable to do anything. Through God’s grace my Mom says God saved me. By the way my Mom is Heather. Anyway my whole life since I can remember  my Mom has tried to be healthy and make me as healthy as possible.

A few years ago when my Mom was told she had diabetes and insulin resistance also high blood pressure and lots of other health issues I got very afraid.

My Mom has been my person since I can remember. She is my best friend and the greatest Mom ever. I was scared because what of something happened and she died? Who would help me? My Dad who is my dad by choice not blood is disabled from a disease of muscle.  My Mom has been with me always. You and Craig shared your knowledge with her and have helped her reverse all her medical problems. You saved my Mom’s life.

I just want to say thank you because I don’t have to be afraid anymore. Your food is delicious and good too. Thank you for sharing your recipes with her. She is teaching me how to make them myself. I am very slow but am trying to learn so I can do it myself.

My Mom has sacrificed EVERYTHING  to make sure I am as healthy as possible and my Dad too. She is the most unselfish person I know. I just want to say again Thank you for helping her. In helping her you helped me. I pray God blesses you always. Love Jeremiah”

Blue Light Blocking Glasses Benefits During The Summer

Blue Light Blocking Glasses Benefits During The Summer

Summertime can be challenging when it comes to sleep and weight loss. Longer days with more sunlight are great for activities and getting outside, but it can also interfere with our sleep, leptin, cortisol levels and more. Especially in northern climates like we are in Wisconsin, it doesn’t get dark until after 9PM and is getting light out at 5AM. Add to that all the summer activities and your sleep and overall health can really suffer.

Blue light blocking glasses are designed to filter out blue light emitted from digital screens, which can reduce eye strain and improve sleep quality. Using them in the summer can be particularly beneficial for several reasons:

Benefits:Extended Daylight Hours: Longer days mean more screen time, whether for work, entertainment, or socializing. Blue light blocking glasses can help reduce the strain from prolonged exposure.Outdoor Activities: If you use devices outdoors, the combination of natural and artificial light can be intense. Blue light blocking glasses can help mitigate the effects.Sleep Regulation: Extended daylight can sometimes disrupt sleep patterns. Blue light blocking glasses can help maintain a healthy sleep cycle by reducing exposure to blue light in the evening.Considerations:Tint and Aesthetics: Some blue light blocking glasses have a noticeable tint, which might not be ideal for outdoor use in bright sunlight. Consider glasses with a minimal tint or those specifically designed for outdoor use.UV Protection: If you plan to use them outdoors frequently, ensure that they also offer UV protection. Some blue light blocking glasses come with this feature.Comfort and Style: Summer activities can be more physically engaging. Ensure that the glasses are comfortable and fit well, especially if you plan to wear them for extended periods.

Using blue light blocking glasses in the summer can be a great way to protect your eyes from strain and maintain a healthy sleep schedule despite increased screen time and daylight exposure.

Cookie Dough Brownies (No Almond Flour or Coconut Flour!)

Cookie Dough Brownies (No Almond Flour or Coconut Flour!)

I LOVE cookie dough! I always have! That is why I wanted to write a recipe using it as a frosting for keto brownies!

Most keto brownie recipes on the internet use almond flour or coconut flour which I do not consume (expect for a special occasion, but I do avoid using it since it is expensive and not the healthiest). So I played around and created a dense, rich brownie recipe without almond or coconut flour for all of you!

TESTIMONY ABOUT MY KETO COOKIE DOUGH BROWNIES

As one of my recipe testers reported after she tried this recipe, the brownies and frosting balance each other in this dish: “The brownies are rich, dark chocolate gooey goodness, and the frosting adds a sweetness and creaminess that pairs exceptionally well. It was my family’s favorite dessert so far!”

HOW TO MAKE KETO COOKIE DOUGH BROWNIES

To make my delicious brownies without flour, almond flour or coconut flour, I used Further Food Gelatin!

Further Food gelatin and collagen peptides are both excellent sources of collagen. Both their Collagen & Gelatin are sourced from the highest quality, grass-fed, pasture-raised, hormone-free, and antibiotic free bovine collagen.

The benefits of collagen and gelatin are astounding! Just eating my delicious dessert helps support skin elasticity & hydration, longer hair & nails, stronger bones & joints, faster recovery between workouts, increased flexibility, improved digestion, and it even keeps you feeling full and satiated for longer!

Further Food Collagen Peptides make my brownies extra fudgy and extra delicious!

Grease a 9-inch square brownie pan.Make the brownies: Melt the coconut oil in a saucepan over medium heat, then slowly add the chocolate and Further Food collagen. Continue to heat, stirring often, until the chocolate is completely melted. Stir in the sweetener, vanilla, almond extract, and salt. Let cool in the fridge for about 5 minutes. While it is cooling, place the egg whites in a stand mixer and whip until stiff peaks form. Once the whites are stiff, slowly add the yolks while mixing on low speed.Once the chocolate mixture is cooled a bit but still warm to the touch, add it to the egg mixture with the stand mixer on low. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and smooth the top. Place in the oven and bake for about 18 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean and the brownie begins to pull away from the sides of the pan. Cool the brownie in the pan on a cooling rack for 30 minutes. While the brownie cools, make the frosting. In a saucepan, heat the butter over medium-high heat until it turns brown, not black. Add the erythritol and stevia and continue to cook for about 5 minutes, until well combined. Remove from the heat and, using a handheld mixer on low speed, mix in the cream cheese, macadamia nut milk (or cream) until smooth. Allow the mixture to cool completely, about 15 minutes in the fridge (you don’t want the chocolate chips to melt), then stir in The Good Chocolate chunks. When the brownie has cooled completely, cut it into pieces and spread the frosting over the number of brownies you plan to serve. The brownies are best served at room temperature or slightly warm. For an extra-fancy presentation, drizzle with the hot fudge sauce (click HERE to find), if desired.Store leftover frosting and brownies separately in airtight containers in the fridge for up to a week or in the freezer for up to a month. When ready to serve, take the brownies out of the fridge and gently warm them in the microwave on medium heat for a few seconds or until the bottom is warm and gooey, then top with the frosting.NutritionCalories: 491.6 | Fat: 46.7g | Protein: 9.3g | Carbohydrates: 8.3g | Fiber: 3.5g | P:E Ratio: 0.2TESTIMONY OF THE DAY

Sugar Free Electrolyte Taffy

Sugar Free Electrolyte Taffy

It has been awhile since I’ve tasted taffy but I am pretty proud of how my recipe turned out!

We all agree, it tastes like a Starburst! Just a little softer!

I remember going up North in Wisconsin and going to candy stores that had many flavors of taffy! I also was reminded of taffy when I watch a movie on Netflix called The Secret where Katie Holmes is a mother who eats a lot of taffy! Have you watched it? It was really good!

HOW TO MAKE ELECTROLYTE TAFFY

To make my sugar free electrolyte taffy, I used watermelon LMNT!

It is unbelievable how perfect using LMNT works for a yummy sugar free taffy!

You can use any flavor you want. Try the raspberry LMNT instead of watermelon! Be creative! Orange LMNT and add vanilla extract for a Creamsicle Taffy! Super delicious!

I love having LMNT as a healthy option for people. I have been consulting clients for over 20 years now and in the past, I would get a lot of parents asking me what their kids can drink if I do not recommend Gatorade. Now I recommend LMNT! It is like Gatorade without the sugar or food dye and it works perfect to pack when traveling.

“I started my weight loss journey on April of 2023 at 304 lbs and 5’2 1/2” inches tall.

I didn’t start off with keto but just watching my carb intake and intermittent fasting and had lost 30 lbs. It wasn’t until a couple months later that I found Maria Emmerich’s website, and her FB pages that I started to take a really good look at what I was eating, and how I could make a difference in my life with their way of living.

I’ll also add that I have osteoarthritis in my right hip and right knee and getting around was becoming a major problem. I didn’t go anywhere unless I absolutely had to.

I started following Maria and Craig’s teachings and haven’t looked back!

This way of living, and the great result of weight loss, has produced so many positives!

It has vastly reduced the inflammation in my body that affects my arthritis. I’m off one of my blood pressure meds, as well as the mild antidepressant I was taking.

My doctor is pleased and supports my keto lifestyle! I can move around so much easier and don’t tire or hurt as much.

I went into a grocery store to shop for the first time in years! And, I’ve inspired my brother to lose over 140 lb’s! I’m not sure what my goal weight will be. When I get to 150, I’ll figure out what I need to lose from there.

First pic is of me on St. Patrick’s Day 2023 at 304 lbs. Second is just this morning, 6/14/24, at 181.5 lbs! I’m a terrible selfie taker!

Thank you so much to Maria, her family, and the members of her FB pages! Your continued inspiration, cheerleading, and knowledge are priceless!” ~Debbie

Easy Carnivore Ramen

Easy Carnivore Ramen

My son Kai was begging to make ramen. I told him I have a fantastic recipe in my book called The 30 Day Ketogenic cleanse. I didn’t want to follow my recipe so he made his own creation. He didn’t even look at the internet to search on how to make ramen.

He pretended to like it but after a few bites, he said he was full! LOL

I asked him if I could help him create a new and improved ramen with protein noodles and he allowed me to basically take over. And this time, he ate 2 servings! It is so good!

HOW TO MAKE EASY CARNIVORE RAMEN

My easy Carnivore Ramen only took me minutes to make! You don’t even have to boil the noodles because I used the new Miracle Noodles egg white vermicelli noodles!

These protein noodles are soft and tender like a regular noodle! I can’t get over how great these are!

Whether you are keto or carnivore, this ramen will fill your belly with healthy satisfying protein while getting all the delicious flavors you are looking for in a ramen. It’s a truly healthy comfort food!

She came to my house for my last class and she is such a special girl!

“Hi! My daughter Jozie went from a women’s small/medium to a children’s size 10. She lost 25lbs after coming to your class.

Her daily battles with blood sugar and feeling unwell are GONE!

Her lymphedema is GONE!

Needing to eat every couple of hours is GONE!

Anxiety is almost GONE!

Food worries GONE!

Sugar cravings GONE!

She has more energy, has gotten sick less, is happier, never feels hungry, she grew a couple inches which is HUGE for her TS, and she overall feels GREAT!

I am so thankful and feel so blessed the Lord gave us the tools and Maria Emmerich and Craig Emmerich to completely change our health and ultimately our lives!

It feels amazing to feel so much better than we have in years and probably ever for Jozie!”
