I did show this scene in Bop, I was the one who revealed that Gordon knew she had been Batgirl, but that was by the time she was Oracle, which he DIDN’T know about.

This is a different version of Batgirl, not really sure how it would play out, now.

I don’t think they have invited me, actually. My hubby Rocketspouse handles my appearances, but I think he would have mentioned it.

Last time I was there, I was SWAMPED so bad people couldn’t find my table. It was a blast!

I get asked about Scandal every day.

I did try to bring her back previously, but it didn’t quite work. All I can say for sure is that she DOES exist in the new52 world. But that’s all the hint I can give for now.

And I am glad you are digging Red Sonja, I was delighted to see it show up on so many Best of 2014 lists. I LOVE THAT STINKY CHICK!

Say what you like about Batman and Robin, but the director certainly isn’t anything bad. Apparently he actually apologised for the film, as well. I mean, the entire film.

Most of the scenes with Batgirl, played by actress Alicia Silverstone, were cut out because Silverstone had gained a few…

I didn’t know that.

A reminder that an artist you don’t care for isn’t necessarily a bad person.

If Gail Simone is not involved in the writing of the Wonder Woman film in some way, I don’t have much hope for this movie. Don’t get me wrong, I will still go see it but if the person who knows Wonder Woman the best isn’t involved then it probably won’t be as good.

I really just want the best possible person to work on it.

I have several times had big name producers call me for Wonder Woman advice, and it was clear every time they had no clue what made her work.

So I just want someone great.

Ack!

Today we finally get to drive up the coast (it’s icy cold, but we are going anyway) to look at the greyhounds at the closest adoption/rescue place.

They have four available, but the one that is okay with cats and small animals (we sometimes babysit my brother’s wiener dog) is an adorable black hound, just four years old.

She has never been in a house, never been with a family. Our last grey had been adopted and brought back FOUR TIMES so he was more familiar with things like glass doors, mirrors and stairs (greyhounds often have never experienced those things), but he had terrible separation anxiety.

She was injured while racing and was not treated, so she has some soft tissue damage on one leg, and limps sometimes. She looks adorable in the photo. We are trying not to decide in advance but she is awfully cute and the website says she’s a goofball clown.

I am excited. An afternoon visiting greyhounds? Yes, please!

We won’t get to take one home, you have to do an application and a home check first. But we are excited to at least meet her!

Tough question.

I would definitely write a different Batgirl, for sure, if offered and had the time. But the new Babs is a different character, and I wouldn’t want to intrude on that.
