In light of the sparse number of women on CBR's list of the best comic book writers, can I ask you to make a list of 10 you might consider?

I don’t think I could reduce it to a list of ten very quickly, that would require some thought time I don’t have today.

But I am sad to be the only female included on the list. I am grateful to the people who voted for me, but wow, there are some sad omissions!

Do you have any plans to use Silver again? Reading the latest Batgirl collection reminded me how much I love that crazy mixed-up dope.

I wouldn’t phrase it in that language…

But yes, DC likes Silver a lot. Hopefully he will show up again, he was ALMOST in the Secret Six, he was one of the last to be culled.

Constantine hasn't been straight washed. They just haven't addressed him being bisexual yet. They have left hints to it the same way they have shown him smoking by circumventing the no smoking policy.

I don’t know if that’s entirely correct as some of the things said by people working on the show seemed to indicate he would not be shown as bi.

However, I don’t watch much television, I don’t keep up with it. So I really should stop answering tv questions.

hi gail i saw a post on tumblr by someone who said they wish writers would stop using arkham as a place where all mentally ill people go because that would never happen in real life. do you think that's a good point more writers should think about?

The whole portrayal of mental illness and how it is treated, as well as how it is dealt with in the criminal system, is woefully behind.

It’s something I hope to help address. I know some other writers are working on it as well. That said, quite a few writers are using Blackgate more heavily lately.
