Hey Gail! Someone got Mouse cheese for Christmas, right?
Margaret brought him a whole wheel!
would you be up for writing a batman villain book such as gotham city sirens, arkham manor, ect.?
Well, Secret Six had Catman, Bane, Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Mad Hatter, and more, doesn’t that qualify?
What don't you like about Catwoman?
I like Catwoman!
I just like Pamela a little better.

Even if he was made of a gordita, there'd be nothing adorable about James Franco. He's a sleeze who tried to pick up an underage girl.
What? Really?
I did not know that.

Hey Gail! Serious summit-related question: Do you ever hold summits online over Skype? Just wondering, given how potentially useful that could be (assuming the service is willing to work for all involved of course)!
Not that I am aware of. I have had some Skype meetings for various things, but not like the franchise summits.
The whole ‘summit’ thing is being taken a little too literally, I think. DC doesn’t do a lot of that sort of thing, at least not now. It tends to be more discussion at dinners when we are all already at a con, or improvised get-togethers. The Marvel retreat is a bigger, more organized deal.
Just different ways of doing things, is all.

I always picture summits being held on in buildings on the side of mountains. I'm pretty sure I remember Wonder Woman going to an international summit on a mountain in the Justice League cartoon.
Heh. They’re not like that at all, they’re very informal.
When I was writing ACTION, I showed up at the Super-summit with a big notebook full of outlines, plans and charts, and no one else brought a thing, it was just a discussion that I WAY over-prepared for.
I am sure bat-summits are bigger, but we were still doing most of it through email.
They don’t last days, either, we did the Super-summit in about ninety minutes, I think.
A SUMMIT? You mean groups of writers get PAID to go and talk about BATMAN FOR DAYS?
No, it’s a voluntary thing when we are all at the same con.
