Hey Gail, as someone who just received Disney Infinity 2.0 for his birthday, which Disney playset would you recommend I try first? Which ones are your favorites?
There are three so far, right? And it comes with Avengers.
So that only leaves two FULL playsets (aside from the stuff with the toybox game discs, which are fun).
I would say between Guardians and Spidey, get Guardians. It’s got a bigger variety of things to do and encounter—the Spidey set is great but similar setting and gameplay to the Avengers set.
I enjoyed all of the Toybox game discs, especially Merida’s and Stitch’s.
I have played the three playsets and all the game discs to completion, I have all the INterior feats. I think of the total possible feats, which is like 236 is all levels of the game, I think I have over 200. But the last ones are tricky!
So Anthony Mackie said a Woman's role is to make Daddy a sandwich. *sigh* we will never have nice things. (it's on the Mary sue if you want to see for yourself.)
What?
NOT ANTHONY!
:(
did the confusion between you and eccc ever get cleared up? and on that note, do you know if you will be attending eccc?
Wait, what confusion?
I’m missing something, I love those guys. I have never had a disagreement with them or even a cross word.
What am I missing here?
Not sure if I can make it this year. Hope to, it’s the only big con I can drive to.
Assuming this information is not something your keeping under wraps just in case you get the chance to use it later, how would you have launched the Movement if you could have done it differently?
I think the approach we had to the ads and stuff, which I liked the idea of at the time but I think sort of made it confusing, was too tied into specific events in the news.
The book was never about the Occupy movement, it actually was plotted before that even really took hold. But it was presented that way to some degree and I think it sort of confused casual purchasers.
It sounds silly, but little things like this can mean the difference between someone purchasing a book or not. Also, I revealed the character’s hearts kind of slowly, that’s on me.
I’m very proud of the book, I think a lot of books that are getting praised now for covering these topics are doing it less head-on than we did.
And I miss the characters a lot. Burden, Vengeance Moth, Katharsis, Mouse, Tremor, Virtue…it’s a fun team. I think we didn’t get that message out.

This makes me so mad because of the” guilty” part, as if this is something you read on break at work but make excuses for, like “oh I’ve just heard about it from some ppl so I’m giving it a read” or “my child brought this home so I’m checking it out.” Like it’s somehow surprising that it’s well written and good. Idk I just hate the way that was phrased. Maybe it’s just me, but it feels a bit condescending.
HA!
Yes, I thought it was condescending as hell. The guy, who is a great writer, someone I really admire, raved about the book, and then called it a ‘well-writen guilty pleasure,’ which…why?
I talked to him about it and he did admit it was oddly phrased. But at the time, it felt very weird, very I-like-a-girls-book-so-I-feel-guilty.
I thought he meant the art, but he said no.

I will be eternally angry that The Movement didn’t get the recognition that it deserved in the comic book world.
Thank you.
In retrospect, I think we could have launched it very differently.
I miss the characters a lot!

Dark Horse is rolling out a fresh series for the New Year that is bound to be a hit. Issue #1 certainly portends some great things as our favorite Cimmerian meets up with the fabled she-devil with a sword….
