R.T. Kaelin grew up in Cincinnati and now resides in Columbus, Ohio with his beautiful wife and the two best kids ever. For years, he worked in information technology, but felt there was something more waiting for him. He always had an active imagination, so one day he decided to do something with it. R.T. Kaelin's son and daughter are too young to grasp it fully, but they are the reason he writes. His favorite place in the world is any barely-occupied, tucked-away corner of Tuscany.

Hey yes, that helps! Honesty always does. I've noticed a minor debate online about the usefulness of creating a Book Trailer. I don't really see any direct sales connections that it could provide. I also almost never watch book trailers and don't assume that a book has one. If I did decide to do one I'd love one as awesome as 'The Black Prism' by Brent Weeks and I know that cost a pretty penny.

R.T. Kaelin You know, I'm not sure. At that point, I was trying anything and everything.

Did it help? It didn't hurt. And as I did it myself, it was free minus my time.

I'll say this: I'm not going to be doing one for Prophecy, book 2 in the series. I've found I get more out of investing my time into trying to secure book reviews at various blog sites.

Does that help?

Terah Edun Hi R.T., I saw the book trailer for Progeny. Do you think creating the trailer was worth it from a marketing stand point?

Thanks - I was afraid to listen to myself talk. Reminds me how I used to hate to read my writing.
