Marketing mystery

I took my stories all off KDP since I was only getting 1 or 2 lends a month anyway. Why keep them buried under Amazon’s darks by bosom if they are getting the love?

I loaded everything up on Smashwords and sent my stories to the far corners of the Internet in hopes people would start drooling and buying everywhere Smashwords distributes.

It’s no big secret that most writers also have a full time job that consumes most of their energy and yet we manage to carve out moments to pound away at the keyboard by candlelight. And a life. You know the things that always have priority: family time, household chores, that sort of thing. Then there are the time wasters that drown us: TV, Facebook, and scrolling through Twitter feeds. Picture becoming a story

Many times I have grabbed my camera (well ok, my Iphone) and not really grabbed, because I always have it with me… I head out to take a picture that I hope will fit well with a story I have written, so that photo can become part of the cover.
