Yet Another Glimpses Update

The book will eventually be available on Amazons and for stores to order, perhaps in a month, but it takes time for it to get into the system. The fact that it's being listed on various Amazons is a good sign!

Skit progress

Skit the Garage Kitten comes out of hiding quickly when I bring the food dish out, and suffered a few brief touches to her neck and back while she ate this morning. She doesn't like it, but she only backs up, instead of running away. I consider that good progress. She trills and vibrates her tail when she wants to eat, and purrs when she's eating. And can she eat! She's quite sleek. She's eating Oscar's adult Iams formula. I hope that's not bad for her.

Trouble Getting Glimpses?

Bookplates Take Flight!

Thanks to all who've sent in for bookplates. I appreciate all the notes, too. :-) The first batch is out, and tomorrow I go to the post office to see how to use these international coupon thingys.

Skit back!

Thanks everyone, for your kind words and good advice. We left the gate open and food out and this morning Skit showed up for breakfast as if she'd never been gone. Wild as ever, but she seems to have chosen the garage as her home.

Skit Gone :-(

I'm so sad. Skit and Oscar got out while Doug had the gate open to bring in the trash barrels. Oscar cried outside the gate to come in, as he always done, but Skit ran into a neighbor's yard and despite a heartfelt search, there is no sign of him. The gate is open, the other animals are secured, and food is out. It's up to her now.

I get attached to animals so easily. :-(
