Six Sentence Sunday
Life has been really hectic lately and I have not been able to work on anything new. So, here is a little taste of something old.
From Santa's Sleeping Beauty…
Nate laughed with her as he parted her legs with one hand, running his fingers over her inner thighs. He gave the waistband of her panties a quick tug and then slid them down her legs, taking them completely off her. Jordan swallowed hard, a flare of hot desire ignited in her pussy when she heard the distinctive sound of his zipper coming down. His pants fell to the floor around his ankles and her insides fluttered when his cock brushed against her thigh. He lifted her legs around his waist and cupped her bottom in his hands. "Do you want me?"

Stylish Blogger Award
The most awesome JESSICA SUBJECT presented me with THE STYLISH BLOGGER AWARD recently and I am both flattered and honored that she thought of me. I met Jessica through Six Sentence Sunday and the little excerpts she contributes from her WIP, Zurian Child, are something that I look forward to reading every single week. I am also really looking forward to her April Blogoversary party which is going to be a spectacular event.
Now, as part of the award, I have to tell you all 7 things about myself you may not already know. So, here we go…
I change my hair color every 3 or 4 months. Right now it is a purple so dark it looks black in some lighting
I've partied my way through 5 Mardi Gras
I LOVE zombies
When I decided to move to New Orleans, a city I had never seen before, I bought a one-way ticket, packed two suitcases and left New York a week later
I moved to San Francisco so I could walk in the footsteps of the Beats
Meeting David Duchovny was quite literally a dream come true
I believe in magic
All right, for the last part of the award, I supposed to pass it on to 10 other bloggers I love. Here they are in no particular order:
Graylin Fox – One of my very first friends on Twitter, my zombie obsession enabler and the very talented author of Coming Home
Eden Baylee – Author of the super sexy Fall into Winter and a very good friend
Savannah Chase – A super talented author and all around fantastic lady. Her Taste of Passion is beyond delicious
Casey Sheridan – Seriously, one of the sweetest people I know. And her Free Reads can heat up even the coldest winter nights
Taryn Kincaid – A Six Sentence Sunday friend, her excerpts are smoking hot. I especially like the ones from Sleepy Hollow Dreams
Liia Ann White – Her debut novel, Elora's Match comes out in less than a month and I can't wait to read it
Lucy Felthouse – Editor of Uniform Behavior, erotic author, and proprietress of Erotica for All
EroticStoriesandToys.com – They hold the best erotic short story contests EVER with the hottest prizes and have a truly awesome blog called Where Inspiration Meets Imagination
Miss Rebecca Bond – Hot, hot, hot author and contributor to Uniform Behavior. Make sure to check out her beautiful website!

Moonlight and Merlot
The continuing saga of the lives, loves and heartbreaks of the residents of Dion Valley, CA.
As with all the best things in life, this is for adults only.
*****
Lela sat on the roof of Nick's apartment building and stared up at the moon. Questions swirled around and around in her head, but the moon was silent, providing no answers, no guidance, nothing useful at all.
Was the spell the right thing to do? What did she actually want to accomplish by doing it? What did she hope would happen? Was there some other force at work? Why did she keep feeling like something was wrong? What if it didn't work? What if it did? What would she do with the god she had summoned? Would she be able to control it? Could anyone control a god? Did she even want to control it?
Lela closed her eyes. Too many questions and not enough time. The spell had to be done tomorrow night. Had to be. It took years and years for the planets and stars to cycle around to the proper locations. If she missed tomorrow night's window, she'd be an old lady by the next time she had another chance.
Maybe she should just go downstairs, crawl back into bed beside Nick, and forget about it all. The more she thought about it, the better it sounded. Just loose herself in his arms, block out the world, forget about everything. Too bad it wasn't a real option.
Or wasn't it? Maybe she could do exactly that. Why not? Phoebe certainly wouldn't care one way or another if she did the spell or not. And Zach…
Zach.
No, no, no she did not want to think about Zach. Zach was the distant past. There was nothing to think about Zach. Zach might as well not exist there was so little think about him.
But Nick on the other hand very much existed. Nick is who she should be thinking about. Hell, not thinking. She did far too much thinking. What she really needed was to be back downstairs in his apartment with him now not up on the roof all alone. What was she doing up there anyway? Why was she so…
Afraid.
Lela sighed as the word came to her mind and fit so perfectly. She was afraid to be down there with Nick too long. Afraid to get too comfortable, to like his arms too much, to rely on him more than absolutely necessary. She was afraid of tomorrow with him, afraid of what came next, even more afraid of what might not come at all. Afraid of what if.
"Lela?" a male voice called, and she jumped at the sound of her own name.
[Until next Tuesday…]

Six Sentence Sunday
Today I have a little excerpt from a very special Valentine's Day free read I wrote.
"Star light, star bright," she whispered, and then with a rueful smile, dropped her gaze to the concrete sidewalk. This was silly. Besides, what would she even wish for anyway? She gazed back up at the star and took a deep breath. "I wish I could have someone who actually wanted to be with me." Now that she had begun, the words came pouring out her mouth, filled with all the emotion and longing she'd kept bottled up inside for so very long. She wished with every fiber of her being, pouring every bit of the yearning in her heart into her words. "I wish for romance. I wish for someone to hold and hug and kiss. I wish for someone to not just fuck, but to make love with. I wish for happily ever after."
All right, it's a little over. Please don't be too mad with me, okay?
If you'd like, you can read the entire story right here: WISH UPON A STAR
