Six Sentence Sunday
A little more from the retelling of the Irish myth I have been working on. When last we left our hero, he was bound to his bed by some invisible force, a beautiful and mysterious goddess by his side.
Well, he's still there…
She nibbled his earlobe, kissed his throat, his jaw. He nuzzled her cheek, glad he could move at least that much, and breathed in her heady scent of island flowers and ocean breezes. She met his eyes for an instant and then pressed her lips to his, giving him a soft, teasing kiss that made his pulse accelerate. He licked her bottom lip, wanting to taste more of her and when she opened for him, he groaned in sheer delight and triumph when he slipped his tongue into her mouth. The kiss went on and on, endless, excruciating pleasure, and Logan lost himself in the depths of her sweet mouth, in the decadent dance of tongues and lips and desire. When she broke away, he was left breathless and wanting more.

"Right before the spell begins, your witch friend will draw a circle," Aster said in Phoebe's mind.
She shifted in the passenger seat of Zach's car only vaguely aware that they had been driving for quite some time now without stopping and that the sky had darkened. She was listening very closely to Aster now, trying to hear the words beneath his words because there had to be something more gong on here. That he would just pop out of her head and go on his merry way seemed too easy. There had to be a catch and she had no intention of getting caught in it.
"After the circle is cast, all you need to do is step outside of it," he went on. "It must –"
"Wait, wait, wait," Phoebe said, cutting him off. "The circle? Lela is going to draw a circle? With what? How is she going to draw anything anyway? We're going to be out in the middle of the woods."
She could feel Aster sigh. "A magic circle is drawn with the will of the Priestess in her mind's eye."
"She's going to draw a circle in her mind? That means it's going to be invisible, right? Imaginary? How the hell am I supposed to see an imaginary, invisible circle?"
"You won't need to see it," he said, obviously getting frustrated. "You will feel it. And it doesn't matter anyway. All you have to do is step outside it."
"But how will I know if I am outside it or not?" She knew she was pissing him off, but she didn't care. She needed to know what he was not telling her and maybe if she annoyed him enough, he'd slip up and spill it.
"Just take two steps backwards and you will be outside it. And then –"
"Why should I be outside it? What would happen if I stayed in it?"
"If you say inside, I won't be able to come out and I don't think either of us wants that."
"Certainly not," Phoebe said, crossing her arms over her breast. "I'm kinda ready for you to get out now."
"Finally we agree on something," Aster said. "Once you've stepped outside the circle –"
"We're here," Zach said, breaking into her private internal conversation and startled by the sound of his voice, Phoebe closed Aster off in her mind. She looked around the dark countryside where they had stopped wondering where they were. Zach got out of the car, crossed to the passenger side, opened the door and held out his hand out to her. "Come on."

Six Sentence Sunday
My Irish myth needs a little more work before I can post something from it again so in the meantime here is a little snippet from the latest episode of Moonlight and Merlot, my paranormal romance, free read, soap opera.
"Lela –" he began, but she silenced him again with a kiss. He had intended to suggest that they go back downstairs, back to his bed, but he could feel the intensity in her kiss, feel her immediate, hungry desire, and soon he was too swept up in her to care where they were, just as long as she kept kissing him, touching him, letting him touch her.
He lifted off the long t-shirt she wore, delighted that she was completely naked underneath and already hot and wet and very ready for him. He laid her down on the cool rooftop, lost in her utter, dazzling beauty, her body warm and slick and perfect against his.

Saturday Video – Celtic Thunder preforms Caledonia
