I believe that there are arguments for both cases. In a recent article posted by GigaOm, the crux of the matter is the role o...
Not a Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing After All!
I think that Microsoft’s original foray into cloud based services (i.e., Live) led people to believe it was just another strategy to sell more boxed software. After all, a significant portion of their revenue is based on off-the-shelf software like Office and Windows.
But with the announcements of their latest Worldwide Partner Conference, I think they have officially made the commitment that cloud-based services are the future of the software giant:
Startups, Startups Everywhere
It’s always interesting to hear about different startups in different locations and although Chicago might not seem the hotbed of technological creativity, they have a fair number of startups emerging that look promising. The link below lists eight of them as gathered by The New Web:

Learning From the Pros
As an entrepreneur, one of the greatest resources we have is other entrepreneurs. I frequently work with young startup executives who need guidance and advice on launching their companies. Although I haven’t had much success, my failures provide an invaluable source of information to other young businesses.
Om Malik, the founder of GigaOm (one of my favorite analyst groups), recently posted an interview he did with Josh Silverman, the ex-CEO of Skype:
