In the writing cave.
I'm quiet, I know, but I'm in the writing cave pulling my hair out. Lord knows it's easier to do that than getting words on the page. *sigh* I'll hopefully *crosses fingers* be out later today so I can shout out about the release of Coyote Whispers!

Monday Madness
is upon me! I swear, you would think my life couldn't get anymore insane or that it would worry me but every now and then I have a 'moment', yes we'll call them moments, where I want to pull out my hair while crying my eyes out. I'd suggest it was hormonal but that would require a pattern that fit in with the other pattern and well that just isn't working out either. *sigh*
The sad part about this is I have nothing to complain about really. I've got the long awaited for release of Coyote Whispers on Friday and I'm expecting edits this week for All Of You which should be out end of September as long as I really don't lose it before getting the edits done. I've got wip's coming out the wazoo and more screaming to be written so the future is looking bright but I'm still stuck in this blah feeling. Chocolate didn't even help!!

Okay, enough with the pity party, back to Spin The Bottle.

Review for Bondi Beach boys
The lovely Pearl from Pearl's World of Romance read Bondi Beach Boys and gave it 8.3 Great rating. I'm so thrilled she liked Piper, Nate and Sam as I know she doesn't usually read m/m/f stories. She had some great things to say about Bondi Beach Boys and you can check out the full review HERE but as I usually do I'm gonna share snippet.
"I love her writing, it's enthralling and once I start reading I can't stop until I'm done with the book and then I crave more of it! There are a few authors who have the ability to mesmerize me with their words and Rhian Cahill is definitely one of them. Her descriptions of feelings, lust and need but also mundane stuff as houses and scenery are indescribably good. I've said it before and it bears repeating: she could write package leaflets for medication and I'd still gobble it up."
Damn. Pearl sure does know how to make a writer feel good about herself.

Coyote Whispers has a release date!
Coyote Whispers will release on August 26th! That's in two weeks! I can't wait! You can see the coming soon page HERE!
Book three in the Coyote Hunger series.
Gordie has tried to keep Steve McKenna at arm's length, but the sexy coyote shifter is under her skin, in her blood and in her heart. No matter how much she fears what he makes her feel, she can't bear to stay away. After he rescues her from a vicious attack, Gordie is helpless to deny the sizzling attraction burning between them.
There hasn't been a day Steve has not wanted Doc in his bed, but bruised and bloody is not what he had in mind. The need for revenge is riding his coyote—almost as much as his aching desire to finally claim Doc as his own. But that will have to wait. He must first convince Doc the safest place for her is by his side. When a second attack draws them together, suppressed needs explode, leaving no doubt where they both belong.
But danger is never far behind and Gordie is forced to make a fatal decision that could destroy all they've worked so hard to discover.

Things I've discovered about me.
I love reading series books.
I hate reading series books when the last book in the series is a let down. *sigh*
I love writing series books.
I hate writing series books. I totally get how that last book can go down the toilet. Fast.
I love conferences.
I hate conferences because I'm always racing around like a chook with no head for days before and then I'm too tired to really enjoy myself.
I love lists.
I hate lists. I never seem to be able to follow them.
I love plotting a story.
I hate plotting a story because you can bet your ass those characters that I made up aren't gonna follow the plot. *sigh*
So what is it you love to hate?

Writing, editing and cover art.
This week has been all over the place for me. First I'm not sleeping well AT ALL! Which of course means I'm running on empty. Surprising though, I've managed to get quite a bit of work done. I worked on Spin The Bottle but had to put that aside for Coyote Whispers edits. Still on those but while I was hiding out in the edits cave I got the cover art. And I have to say that Syneca at Ellora's Cave is a genius! GENIUS!!
So what do you think? I love it. The colors are gorgeous and I love the mountain lake scene so much I want to go hiking to see if I can find that view and coming from someone that barely tolerates the walk to the bathroom most days that's saying something. I'll be done with edits today so fingers crossed it won't be long before I get a release date.
And now, just because I can. *grin*

TGIF
I don't know about you but ever so glad to see Friday this week. Talk about tedious. Lots of little things to be done this week. All of them adding up to make for no spare time! And to top it off I'm not done. *sigh* There's always next week. I did however get a whole lot of blogs written up and sent off. *wipes brow* Unfortunately something that should have taken about an hour took hours because we've hit our bumper on the internet plan we're on so e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g g-o-e-s s-l-o-w-e-r t-h-a-n a s-n-a-i-l. *pulls hair out* But I persisted, drank cups and cups of tea and yelled at the little router box on top of my bookcases until I was done. *grin* None of that other than the persistence (aka stubbornness) actually helped but it did make me feel better.

Writing has been slow this week. Lexxie and I have discovered these next two books are a lot more entwined than the first two and the emails are flying back and forth with us checking and double checking we've got time lines, character behavior and setting just right. I will say I'm loving what Lexxie has written so far. Hate my stuff but LOVE hers. She of course, in true writer style, hates hers and loves mine. LOL We're a pair. *rolls eyes*
Got a busy weekend coming up. We've got a huge family celebration happening. Mr.C's aunt is turning 90! And you can bet your butt we'll be shooing her out of the kitchen when it comes time for clean up. We have to do it every Christmas so we're ready for her. *grin* We're in for a great weekend. It's always fun to catch up with relatives you don't see all the time.
Hope you all have a great weekend, I know I'm going to.

Sunday in …. Disneyland
It's nearly three years since we packed up Tribe Cahill and took them to Disneyland. We actually did a 14 day trip but today I'm posting pix of our day in Disneyland. It kinda makes me teary seeing how young they all were.
We'd love to go back some day but for now we have hundreds of pix to remind us of our magical day at Disneyland.
