PARTNERSHIP, PERMISSION AND PARTICIPATION
When it comes to the harvest, let’s get this right. The harvest is Jesus Christ ruling and reigning in a particular area of our life.
The harvest is His Kingdom come to earth in areas He did not used to have dominion. That is the harvest and it’s different for every one of us. Places you can tell He’s been there, that God is in control.
You don’t quit until you have fruit – a changed area of your life – to present to the Lord of the Harvest. You keep working until what needs to happen within your life finally happens. That might be a long, long time. You have to be OK with that.
Or you can join the mean old religious Christians and say, “If it’s a God thing, it’ll happen and if it’s not a God thing, it won’t.” Know this: God won’t transform you without your permission and participation. Amazing, I know! He wants a partner, not a pawn.
Each time you partner with Jesus to plow a field of thorns in your life, then put your hand to that plow, it’s a big win for the Kingdom. Once you’ve tackled the field of your finances, move on to your marriage, kids, ministry or job. There is always another field.
“Do you not say, ‘There are still four months and then comes the harvest’? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest! “And he who reaps receives wages, and gathers fruit for eternal life, that both he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together.
– John 4: 35-36
What areas of your life do you have to plow up and replant? Give them to Jesus and rejoice together with Him at the fruit in your life.

EXODUS – IT’S OUR STORY TOO!
Working out your salvation and becoming sanctified is a process. Don’t think every challenge is a curse. The Good Father is training you to be more than a conqueror.
EXODUS: OUR STORY TOO
The Book of Exodus is one of the most important books of the Bible. It defines Israel’s identity.
God says, “I am your God. You are my people. I have chosen you and am giving you a new covenant. I’m bringing you out of captivity, and this is how we’re going to live together.”
That’s our story! Every single one of us has had those mic dropping, season defining experiences when we realize, “I’m lost. This is not good. I don’t know what’s going to happen. I’m living in the wrong world. I am a man of unclean lips and I have to be delivered.” We realize the world is bigger and meaner than we are, and we don’t know what we’re doing. A messed up life needs a savior.
Then the Lord shows up and says, “You don’t know you. I know you, and I don’t call you a slave. I call you royalty. I’m going to deal with that devil who has owned you.” Yes, Jesus says because of your Father’s covenant with you, He’s going to break the chains of wrong thinking and wrong living that have enslaved you.
That’s when you and God can get alone together in the wilderness, and you find out what it’s like to live close to Him. He shows you how to depend on Him, just like as a child, you had to depend on your daddy for everything and he was glad to love and teach you.
Yes, you and I need a Father and a deliverer! I love this story of a mighty God taking on what His kids are completely incapable of going to war against. He then builds us up so we’re better prepared for the next battle He has to fight for us.
Oh, how I love that! Save us Lord, every day! Is there something that’s ensnared you? Doubt, debt, depression, addiction, fear? Let your Father in heaven go to war for you. Call out for a deliverer, then depend on Him to provide what you need. Move from captivity into the wilderness so He can prepare you for the Promised Land.
Help us, O God our Savior, for the glory of your name; deliver us and forgive our sins for your name’s sake.
– Psalms 79:9

WORSHIPPING A TABLECLOTH
“I the LORD, look down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there are any who understand, who seek God.” If you seek me, you will find me. Let us walk together.
WORSHIPPING A TABLECLOTH
I love the Shroud of Turin. This photographic negative of a crucified man burned into a tablecloth is thought to be the burial cloth of the Lord Jesus Christ. Why do they think it’s a tablecloth? Because it has wine stains all over it and because they had the last supper the night before.
Although that’s fun information, it’s not the point. The point is, from all the evidence, it looks like the Shroud of Turin is legit. If it is, it’s the closest thing we have to a picture of Jesus. While the jury debates, the shroud is kept locked away for scientific study.
Many are upset about this. I’m not one of them. You see, when they did bring it out for the public to see, people started to worship it. People prayed to it. Why do you think God buried Moses in a place only He knows about? If He didn’t, people would be worshipping his gravestone today. We love to worship idols.
In the Bible, the word for how we see Jesus is the Greek word “apokolos.” It’s where we get the word apocalypse, and no, the word “apocalypse” doesn’t mean the end of the world. Apokolos simply means “revelation” or “unveiling.” I like to say it’s a fancy Greek word for “Ta-da!”
I may think the Shroud of Turin is the real McCoy, but it’s not Jesus! It’s not something to be worshipped. If we make it into an idol, the Bible says iniquity will be visited upon us and generations of our children will worship the wrong thing. Ouch!
If that is what the face of Jesus looked like at the moment of His resurrection, it’s not what He looks like today. Today, Jesus shows up in revelations – deep and very personal revelations found in searching the scriptures, chasing after Him, and recognizing Him when He shows up in your life.
Would you know Him? If He’s not revealing Himself to you, maybe you’re not looking.
Therefore, my beloved, flee from idolatry.

THE SPIRIT OF CRAZY HORSE
Unity is a conduit for power. God is giving you the grace and the power to work together and overcome!
THE SPIRIT OF CRAZY HORSE
It’s a sad truth. The native tribes of North America were never united in language or purpose. Because of this, they not only fought each other to their own demise, they couldn’t stand against the Europeans moving into their land.
There is one time, however, the American Indians got together and had a great victory. The Great Sioux War of 1876. They won because a brother named Crazy Horse united several tribes. It was the only time in history, and guess what? They won!
They wiped out an enemy who needed to be defeated – George Armstrong Custer. His name speaks of his own pride. He and his cavalry fell at a place called Little Big Horn. In the Bible, Little Big Horn represents the antichrist or an antichrist spirit.
Crazy Horse had a vision to unite the tribes around him. He said he saw the Great Spirit sitting in a strange chair [throne], like the white man sits on. Indians don’t sit on chairs. A rainbow was over the throne, and out of it came lightning and thunder.
That’s right out of the Book of Revelation. He said the Great Spirit, who I believe was the Lord Jesus Christ, told him to unite the tribes and stand against that devil.
Crazy Horse went into battle – his horse decorated with lightning bolts and hailstones representing the Lord he saw on that throne. His unified the tribes, stood against evil and we remember him still today.
I pray that, in the Body of Christ, there will be leaders who have a vision to unify the multiple tribes of the American church to stand against the drama of our day.
My message to this tribe and all the other tribes out there? We don’t all have the same territory or methods, but we all have the same King. We need to recognize and celebrate that because heaven does! Spirit of Crazy Horse, rise up!
We need to unify with the tribes we can and stand together in these darkening days. Persecution is not just coming, it is here. The antichrist spirit is rising. Be a Crazy Horse!
I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought.

TODAY IS A GOOD DAY TO COME AGAINST THE SPIRIT OF DIVISION INSIDE THE BODY OF CHRIST. UNITE WITH THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST AND DRAW ALL MEN TO HIM.

THE BIG SWITCH
This is a time of transition into a new thing. Have you not heard? I absolutely love change and I want you to love it too! Search out who I am for you in this new place. As I take you higher, you will see me from a new perspective. It’s time to climb!
THE BIG SWITCH
I love food, but would I want to eat the same thing every day for 40 years? Not really. For 40 years, the children of Israel didn’t eat anything but manna and quail. They all got tired of it. They grumbled, but they ate. For 40 years.
It took them a long time to learn to trust God. Once they understood, the first thing they did when they got to the Promised Land, was raid someone’s garden.
And the manna ceased on the day after they had eaten some of the produce of the land, so that the Israelites no longer had manna.
– Joshua 5:12
The manna ceased. Can you imagine for 40 years, there was a certain way something worked? For 40 years, you had something to count on – it was there every time? I wonder what they thought when they woke up and there was no manna on the ground.
Maybe they thought it would come back tomorrow, but it didn’t. God just said, “Switch!” He’ll do that with you, you know. If you’re going to leave the old thing, God says, “Behold, I do a new thing. Can you wrap your head around it?”
With every upgrade comes a whole new way of relating to God, of experiencing God – of Him providing for you, and speaking to you. Are you going to rely on your methods or are you going to rely on Jesus? If you rely on your methods, you’ll go back to the wilderness to relearn that lesson.
I don’t want a trap door to fall out from under me! I don’t want to fall back into the Wilderness. If that’s you, get with the program! God will change your thinking, job, friends, church – even the place you live to get you on the same page as Him. Embrace the big switch! It’s your gateway to the Promised Land.
TODAY IS A GOOD DAY TO EMBRACE THE MAJOR CHANGES GOD HAS FOR YOU. TELL HIM, “BRING ON THE BIG SWITCH!”

SOMEBODY LESS
When you feel weakened and weary from this life, know this; in all the ages there has never been another you. I created you for now; simply add my super to your now, and experience… the super “now” tural.
SOMEBODY LESS
The Bible says the angel of the Lord showed up to Mary and said, “Hail Mary. You’re blessed.”
It says Mary “cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be.” In other words, she thought he had the wrong address because she was probably thinking, “This angel thinks I’m blessed and highly favored. He’s talking to the wrong person. Does he see me or my circumstances? This is going to be bad.”
When you first decide to break ground in your soul, He begins to show you His heart for you in that area. When He shows up, you’ll think He’s mistaken you for somebody else. Here’s the truth: You are mistaking you for somebody less.
Why? Because you don’t know you like He knows you. God sees the redeemed version of you. He knows the you that’s going to be in Heaven forever and ever and ever. He knows that you.
Father God always deals with us in future present tense, not according to our history, but rather according to our destiny. He’ll start telling you some crazy stuff like you are blessed, a natural learner, a leader, a prophetic voice, a mighty man of valor or a handmaiden of the Lord.
Are you ready to hear those things? Can you walk in the promises and favor He’s offering. Plow up the hard, fallow ground of that place you’ve kept from Him. As you soften that field, be prepared to discover who you really are.
This is what the Lord says to the people of Judah and to Jerusalem:
“Break up your unplowed ground and do not sow among thorns.
– Jeremiah 4:3
TODAY IS A GOOD DAY TO KNOW YOU’RE GOD’S FAVORITE. YOU ARE NOT SOMEBODY LESS. HE SEE’S YOU AS YOU WILL BE, NOT AS YOU ARE.

CREATIVE GENIUS
God is doing a work in your thought life in those places of anxiety. Think on the joy the Lord brings and He will give you strength.
CREATIVE GENIUS
There’s a group of people I call the “spikey-haired people.” It’s a demographic of creative people and I love creative people because I have a creative side to me. In fact, if I can’t be creative, I start getting mad.
I have learned a huge part of my job is to come up with content – sermons, radio and TV shows, books, songs and the devotion you’re reading right now. I really seek God about the stuff I write.
What I write needs to be fun and full of life. It needs to be all those things Jesus wants it to be, so there’s a creative kind of groove that I’ve got to get into whether putting together a message or writing a song or a book. Over the years, I have found one truth about the creative process:
Anxiety is the kryptonite of creativity.
Anxiety takes you into survival mode. You cannot be creative and fun and come up with fresh, new ideas in survival mode. Believe me, you need to be creative in your thinking every day!
When God is in creative mode, He is so much fun. I love that about God. As the Creator, He can start anything. He can finish anything. He can go back in our timeline to apply the blood of Jesus or work all things for our good today.
We need God to be creative every day because we get into messes every day, and He’s the creative genius who turns ashes to beauty!
To proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion – to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.
– Isaiah 61: 2-3
TODAY IS A GOOD DAY TO RECOGNIZE ANXIETY BEFORE IT STEALS YOUR CREATIVE JUICES. CALL ON JESUS FOR DELIVERANCE FROM WHAT IS PULLING YOU DOWN!

WHOSE KINGDOM ARE YOU BUILDING?
The harvest is the fruit – ripe, sweet and juicy. Give Me the fruit of your labor, it will feed others. Keep it for yourself, it is bitter. Give Me your harvest. I will keep you full!
WHOSE KINGDOM ARE YOU BUILDING?
You want to see good things in your life and positive outcomes in your relationships, ministry, finances and job. What you’re looking for is fruit – just like the Lord wants to see fruit, or a positive result, from your life.
Know this: The fruit harvest will only happen if you cooperate with God and work with His agenda.
If you aren’t interested in the Spirit of the Lord, if you’re not going to seek Him whenever He tells you to seek Him, and don’t have a value for His word, if you don’t have a value for Him showing up in your prayer life, there’s never going to be a harvest.
The harvest only happens if you and I cooperate with God and His agenda. Yes, He has an agenda for the unredeemed parts of your life, the unredeemed parts of this city and nation. You have to work with Him for His agenda. It’s His Kingdom you are building, not your own.
I know I’ve been guilty over and over of trying to build my own kingdom. However, when I put God first and really go after Kingdom things, I start producing fruit. You have to be concerned with that because it’s everlasting.
Do not be fooled. God will not be mocked. So a man sows, so shall he reap.
– Galatians 6:7
Want to reap fruit in your life and the Kingdom? Stop mocking God with your efforts to glorify yourself. Start building His Kingdom by plowing up the hard, fallow ground in your life. Plant love, life and redemption!
TODAY IS A GOOD DAY TO VALUE GOD’S PLAN FOR YOU. RIP UP REBELLION BY THE ROOTS AND PLANT A SEED OF REDEMPTION IN YOUR LIFE.

TRESSPASSES, INIQUITIES AND IDOLS
You are mine and I am yours! Our relationship is like no other! No thing and no one will satisfy you. I am the One True God who is and was and always will be.
TRESPASSES, INIQUITIES & IDOLS
When God gave Moses the Ten Commandments, He was saying, “We’re going to have a book written in stone and you’re going down there to blow everybody’s mind.”
Then God said, “Oh, and I want you to make a real big deal out of the second one.”
You shall not make for yourself a carved image and likeness of anything but that is in the heaven above, the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. You shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and forth generations of those who hate me.
– Exodus 20:4-5
Notice God says He will visit the iniquities – not the trespasses – of the fathers down to the third and fourth generation. What does that mean? There is a difference between trespasses and iniquities.
In the book of Isaiah, the Bible says, “He was wounded for our transgressions, bruised for iniquities.” A wound is when you bleed on the outside, so a transgression is when you sin on the outside.
A bruise is when you bleed on the inside. An iniquity is something you’re born with. It’s on the inside, in the DNA. When you sin on the inside, it’s because of your iniquity. You can say, “I’m not responsible for my sin. I was born this way!” You’re right. You were.
But you have to take responsibility because you have a choice – to hate God or love Him. When you turn to idols instead of Jesus, the consequences are not only dire, they get passed down to your kids and their kids because you teach it to them.
So what’s your god? Self? Entertainment? Money? Work? Relationships? Ministry? Achievement? Whatever it is, it’s a poor substitute – or idol – for God Almighty. You have a choice. Choose God and He will bless your bloodline.
…But showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep my commandments.
– Exodus 20:6
TODAY IS A GOOD DAY TO OVERCOME YOUR INIQUITY. CHOOSE TO LOVE AND FOLLOW JESUS. LEAD THE WAY FOR YOUR GENERATIONS TO COME.

HATE MAIL
Don’t let hatred block you from moving forward. Combat hatred with love and know that Jesus will reward you no matter the other person’s response.
HATE MAIL
I didn’t anticipate the problem I’d have with hatred since being on the radio. I always thought it would be cool to be protested or to get hate mail. It’s not.
I’m being real when I admit to you I have problems. I’ve had a difficult time dealing with the hostility that comes with being a public figure, and I want to repent of that. It’s not just me. There are all kinds of good guys among us that the world despises.
Right now in our culture, the good guys are attacked while thieves, wife beaters, drug addicts and murderers are celebrated. Just watch reality TV. Despite being some of the most messed up people in the world, they have high ratings and an international following on Twitter and Facebook.
This should not come as a surprise. The Bible says the day when good is called evil and evil is called good will come. It’s here. Why do they hate us? Because of the Name.
“You will be hated by everyone because of me, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. When you are persecuted in one place, flee to another. Truly I tell you, you will not finish going through the towns of Israel before the Son of Man comes.”
– Matthew 10:22-24
Jesus warned us we will be hated for His name’s sake. If you do good works and show kindness on behalf of the heart and name of Jesus, you will be hated. You need to wrap your brain around the pushback you will get for serving the poor, setting the enslaved free and supporting Israel. Satan hates Jesus and anything that resembles Him. In the context of serving, we are acting in His image.
Know this: He who endures to the end will be saved. It’s not going to get better. It will only get worse and we need to expect that, and even welcome it. Satan only attacks threats to his evil kingdom. If you’re not hated or attacked, maybe you’re not a threat.
Want to be dangerous to the enemy? Want to serve the poor, free slaves and tell the world about a good God and savior who is not mad at them? I do. Even if I’m hated.
TODAY IS A GOOD DAY TO BECOME A THREAT TO THE DEVIL. SERVE. LOVE. WORSHIP. WHEN THE WORLD ATTACKS YOUR KIND EFFORTS, DO EVEN MORE GOOD IN JESUS’ NAME!
