MOB MENTALITY
When was the last time you asked me a question that I answered wrong? Why doubt me now? Be patient, watch, pray and praise me for who I AM.
MOB MENTALITY
In society, we sacrifice our selfish desires for the sake of something better. If there’s going to be a civilization, my friends, there has to be a selflessness among us.
It’s why we wait in lines without causing a riot. It’s why we stop at red lights instead of starting a stampede. It’s why we walk our kids to school and stay faithful to our families. It’s why we celebrate the military and it’s why we stand for allegiance during our national anthem. We are aware of something bigger than ourselves.
The mob is different. You and I are called to stay out of the mob. Why?
The mob is totally selfish, destroying at its pleasure. It doesn’t care about collateral damage or victims. The devil created the mob environment. The “prince of the power of the air,” loves the atmosphere of the mob. He stirs it until we, his pawns, are whipped up in a frenzy of offense.
The mob is the crowd yelling, “Crucify Him!”
The mob is the Roman Coliseum.
The mob is the Spanish Inquisition.
The mob is equivalent of gang rape.
The mob is Nazi Germany in 1940.
The Mob is the Ku Klux Klan.
The mob is Islam demanding its way.
The mob is the left wing agenda of haters and mockers right here in the United States. It has no value for anything real and thrives on anything dramatic because the mob must be entertained.
We have replaced truth with drama because we have replaced society with the mob, my friends. While we are supposed to be “in this world, not of it,” too many of us are part of the mob.

Then He said to the disciples, “It is impossible that no offenses should come, but woe to him through whom they do come!”

    – Luke 17:1

Many Christians don’t realize they’ve jumped on a bandwagon and have been blinded to their true calling. We easily forward that email, sign that petition or join the picket line. Sharing and commenting on politics or social agendas on Facebook is a huge plot of the devil. It’s his demonic distraction.
Sure, you’re protesting abortion or Islamic radicalism. While these things are good, they are not God’s best. We must focus on what matters to the Kingdom: saving the lost and hurting from the clutches of God’s enemy.
We can’t do that on top of a soap box, a bandwagon or entrenched in the mob. In those places, we are filled with hatred, despair, self righteousness and anger. We’re incapable of spreading His love because there is no love in the mob.
Stop spinning your wheels in offense! Ask the Lord to convict and correct you of the mob mentality. Get off the bandwagon by leading the lost to Jesus. There is no greater reward.

See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

    – Psalms 139:24

TODAY IS A GOOD DAY TO COME AGAINST THE MOB MENTALITY IN YOUR LIFE. DON’T FALL OUT OR LOSE FOCUS. THE SALVATION OF THE LOST IS YOUR HIGHEST CALLING.

BREAKING UP FALLOW GROUND
You are a plowman! I am sending you into new ground. Yes, it will seem hard at first, but with My help, you will make it ready for My harvest of fruit.
BREAKING UP FALLOW GROUND
When we Christians talk about the harvest, we assume it means saving people out of the clutches of God’s enemy, satan. Well, it does. But it’s more than that. Much more!
The harvest is the fulfillment of God’s heart toward each of us. If you don’t know what God’s heart is toward you, there’s a problem. You need to be able to live life saying, “I wonder how God sees this? What is it that God wants to happen here?”
He wants you to love and trust Him. He wants you to love your life and the people He’s placed in it. When you do, you draw near to Him. That causes you to want to serve Him in anything He asks you to. The Bible calls that “breaking up fallow ground,” which is about harvest.
You break up dry ground when you say, “I’ve never really served God in this area, but I’m going to now.” When you start walking that ground, the hardness breaks up and you can plant seed of faith for a harvest.
He wants a harvest in places like your parenting, your job, your marriage, your thought life, your finances, your friendships. Addicted? Depressed? Angry? Plow that up!
God is going to show up there even though you’ve never had Him in that part of your life before. He starts telling you who you are to Him in that place and what He’s going to bring you to. At first, you may think He’s mistaken you for somebody else. But remember this: You are God’s favorite! He knows your name.

Sow righteousness for yourselves, reap the fruit of unfailing love, and break up your unplowed ground; for it is time to seek the Lord, until he comes and showers his righteousness on you.

    – Hosea 10:12

TODAY IS A GOOD DAY TO PLOW UP THE HARD PLACES IN YOUR HEART. NEED A HARVEST IN YOUR MARRIAGE, FAMILY, JOB OR FINANCES? DEDICATE THAT FIELD TO HIM AND WALK THAT GROUND!

OPEN BOOKS
Where there is Truth, there can be conflict. Learn to welcome conflict as an opportunity to bring the Kingdom of Heaven to Earth, in love. Remember, truth without love only creates chaos and cruelty, neither of which are in the Kingdom.
OPEN BOOKS
If you learn that God in Genesis is the Creator, the covenant maker, and the promise keeper, you can learn who He is in the book of Exodus: the Deliverer, Passover Lamb and the Redeemer.
There’s this progression that goes from book to book to book. We find out more about Him with every book. His goodness builds! I think it is so cool that the Bible is no longer being written in book form. The Bible is now being written in people form.
The Bible calls you a living epistle. You are a walking Bible. A Bible with legs. It’s amazing the Word of God is no longer being written on tablets of stone, but on the fleshly tablets of men’s hearts.
You see, there is a way you reveal God that I don’t. There is a way you know God that I don’t. There is a way I can learn Jesus by being in a relationship with you that I can’t learn about Jesus without knowing you.
The Bible says in the book of Revelation that we’ll all stand before the throne and the books will be opened – you and I will be opened. Every good thing that God has written in your heart will be displayed and we will all get to look at it. Of course, He will get all the glory for it because He deserves it. Every good thing in us comes from Him and being made in His image.
That’s going to be an incredible WOW!
So the question is, what’s written on your heart? Do you know Him as the Deliverer, Passover Lamb and the Redeemer? If you do, tell someone about Him and add a chapter to your epic story.

You yourselves are our letter, written in our hearts, known and read by everyone, being manifested that you are a letter of Christ, cared for by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone, but on tablets of human hearts.

    – 2 Corinthians 3:2-3

OUT OF EGYPT…
Stay close to me. I am a well-spring of provision. I am the answer to every need. Don’t look to yourself for provision. Stop looking to others to supply answers. When you learn to follow me, you have true freedom.
OUT OF EGYPT
The wilderness is the place where you learn to live with God, day in and day out. It’s an ugly place because you and I try to take control there. The whole point of the wilderness is to learn to give up control.
When God shows up in your wilderness, amazing things happen. He says, “You don’t need to do anything because I’m going to do everything for you.”
You have only one responsibility in the wilderness: stay close to His side. Why is it so hard? Why do you want to run off and do things your way?
You and I love Egypt. It’s all you’ve ever known. Yes, you were a slave there, but it was familiar, so you long for the way it was. You run back to Egypt in your finances, marriage, relationships, work or ministry. The cycle never stops and you soon realize that light at end of the tunnel is an oncoming train.
Stop! You have a heavenly Father who wants to supply all – and that means ALL – of your needs. He is rich beyond measure and merciful without end. Learn to let Jesus supply all you need.
You see, where you were once a slave, you are now part of God’s family. The family is welcome at the table where you no longer eat scraps, but the best the King can offer. You are free to follow Him or go your own way. Just a tip, you’re way isn’t the best way.

And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work.

THE TEN COMMANDMENTS
Before beginning a trip, be sure to take along everything you need, starting with the God of everything.
TEN COMMANDMENTS

“Hello, I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.”

    – Exodus 20:2 (Pastor Troy Version)

That’s a great way to introduce yourself to somebody. Saying, “I’ve gotten you out of a mess and I’m not going to let you get back into it.”
Then God says, “This is how you’re not going to get back into the house of bondage”:
1. You shall have no other gods before Me.
2. You shall not make for yourself a carved image…
3. You shall not bow down to idols nor serve them…
4. You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain…
5. Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it, you shall do no work…
6. You shall not murder.
7. You shall not commit adultery.
8. You shall not steal.
9. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
10. You shall not covet your neighbor’s house, you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor’s.
Seems simple, right? But God knew we couldn’t keep them. We would bend and break them. So why did He give us the 10 Commandments? Was it so He could condemn us? No way!
See, people are whacked. We need rules. We need boundaries. Although we say we hate rules, and find new and more creative ways to break them, we secretly desire structure. Why do you think the children of Israel asked God for judges and Kings? Because they craved rules!
Although we need rules and boundaries, they cannot become the thing we worship – doggedly keeping the rules but forgetting the heart of the one who gave them to us for our protection – yes, protection! Boundaries are how good parents show their love. It’s how we, like Father God, protect our children from harm and heartache.
Want to stay out of bondage? Learn to live within the boundaries God has set for your life. Break a rule or go off the reservation? Repent and run to Abba. It’s that simple. Remember, Jesus simplified this list of 10 down to two “Great Commands”:

Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”

    – Matthew 22:37-40

When all else fails – LOVE! Remember 1 Corinthians chapter 13 says “love hopes all things, endures all things, believes all things. Love never fails.”
TODAY IS A GOOD DAY TO RUN TO DADDY WHEN YOU MESS UP. DON’T HIDE OR WAIT. HE’S READY TO RESTORE YOU BECAUSE HE IS LOVE AND LOVE NEVER FAILS!

ALL MEANS ALL
You are valuable to Me. Learn to value yourself. You are worthy because I have made you worthy in Christ. There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1). Believe it!
ALL MEANS ALL
God is not indifferent. God cares about people and God loves people. God is not mad at anybody. Nobody.
“Well, I’m mad at everybody, so God has to be mad at everybody.”
God is not created in your image. The Bible says at the cross of the Lord Jesus Christ, He reconciled the world unto the Father. The word reconciliation means “the removal of all hostility.” At the cross of Jesus, God put everything He’s mad at us about on Jesus.
Is the world saved? No. Reconciled means the world can now approach the Father for redemption. The upgrade of reconciliation is redemption.

For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation.

    – 2 Corinthians 5:19

How can you say, “Run to the Father because, by the way, He’s going to kill you because He’s so mad”? That’s not the way to sow seed for a harvest of drop-dead, sold-out Jesus freaks.
How can you say, “Run to the Father before He throws a hurricane at you”? The message of the body of Christ should be clear: Because of the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, nobody has to be afraid to run to the Father for redemption.
Don’t mess this up because you don’t like or agree with somebody. Remember, all means ALL. All have been reconciled. You are responsible to plant seeds and water them for a harvest of souls. God’s not mad at anybody and that’s a great message to win a lost and hurting world.
TODAY IS A GOOD DAY TO TELL SOMEONE GOD IS NOT MAD AT THEM. WHEN BAD THINGS HAPPEN, HE’S THERE TO LOVE AND GUIDE – NOT TO PUNISH AND JUDGE.

IN THE BEGINNING…
Regardless of what’s going on around you, or inside of you, focus on Him. Align yourself with His thoughts, declare His Truths and stand on His promises. Then watch and pray.
IN THE BEGINNING…
God can be very direct, and I like that about Him. Check out the first four words of Genesis so I can make my point.
“In the beginning God…”
He just lays it out. “I started it all.” Those four words make this book illegal in every communist country in the world and most muslim nations as well.
“In the beginning God” is profound. “In the beginning God” is a game changer. “In the beginning God” is a worldview completely different from the spirit of this world. If you don’t get anything else out of Genesis, you need to get “In the beginning God.”
The book of Genesis goes through this incredible story of creation by the Word, it ends with these five words.

    “…in a coffin in Egypt.”

    – Genesis 50:26

The first four words are the best that can possibly be and the last four are as bad as can be. The story goes from great to horrible. We’re not just talking about dead, we’re talking about dead in a coffin in Egypt dead. That is some serious dead.
What happened? You and I entered into the picture.
What an amazing capacity you and I have to mess up amazing things. We can take something that works, then partner with the devil to ruin it all. It doesn’t have to be that way.
The creator Word became flesh. The Bible says He dwelt among us and brought us life, which was the light of man. Though many did not recognize the light, you and I did! Because we have faith in Jesus’ sacrifice and resurrection, every day for us is “in the beginning God!”
Will you let Him give you a brand new beginning today and every day afterward? It’s a much better deal than that coffin in Egypt!

The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

    – John 1:14

TODAY IS A GOOD DAY TO START AGAIN! GIVE YOUR MESS OVER TO GOD AND HEAR HIM SAY, “IN THE BEGINNING GOD…”

CALLING DOWN THE THUNDER
Some of the greatest growth we’ll encounter in others comes when we change. Take hold of the change needed in your life today to receive His promises.
CALLING DOWN THE THUNDER
Have you ever wanted to call down fire from heaven? I’d be lying if I said I didn’t.
We, like the disciples, are tempted to call down the thunder and torch our enemies when we are hated because there’s something in us that’s surprised when that happens.
Secretly, we’re all convinced we’re cool. We tend to be shocked when someone else disagrees. I was only 12, but when the old man next door made a rude remark about my “plumber’s syndrome” when I had outgrown a pair of pants, I got a bad case of “I’m gonna get you back.”
As that man called me names, he had no idea that behind my blue eyes were visions of his fields burning to the ground. While I didn’t do that, my friends and I did wait until nightfall. We took white paint and tagged every one of that man’s cattle with derogatory statements on their black hide. Although it is one of my favorite childhood memories, and my friends and I laughed our heads off at the sight of him chasing his cows around with a hose, it was not the right way to handle a hater.
What is?
To continue what you are doing for the Lord. Hold tight to your reputation and testimony. Pray for them and keep serving the Lord. Too many people let detractors stop them from their calling. Don’t let that be you.
Take a lesson from Nehemiah. When his enemies came to heckle, mock and even threaten him as he rallied the people to rebuild the wall around Jerusalem, he didn’t get scared or discouraged. He didn’t quit. He armed his people and told them to continue to build as he and others kept watch for the enemy to attack.
When your haters come after your reputation, testimony, ministry, family, business or blessings, arm yourself with the Word. Take a page from Nehemiah’s playbook: pray and continue working to please God. His opinion is the only one that matters.

Hear, O our God, for we are despised; turn their reproach on their own heads, and give them as plunder to a land of captivity! Do not cover their iniquity, and do not let their sin be blotted out from before You; for they have provoked You to anger before the builders.

So we built the wall, and the entire wall was joined together up to half its height, for the people had a mind to work.

    -Nehemiah 4:4-6

TODAY IS A GOOD DAY TO PRAY FOR THOSE WHO SPITEFULLY PERSECUTE YOU BECAUSE OF YOUR BLESSINGS. PRAY FOR THEM TO BE CONVICTED AND CORRECTED SO THEY CAN FIND THEIR OWN BLESSING AS YOU CONTINUE TO GO AFTER THE GOOD THINGS GOD HAS FOR YOU.

A JUST GOD
God knows the plan He has for you. He also knows the enemy has stolen pieces of your destiny and our testimony. God is just. Make your case against His enemy so He can rule in your favor. Restoration and restitution are your reward!
A JUST GOD
For some reason, we humans love rules. We shouldn’t. God didn’t design us to crave rules, but to crave His presence and provision. That’s why He only gave Adam and Eve one rule in the garden…

“But you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it, you will certainly die.”

    – Genesis 2:17

Without fully knowing the extent of the damage they were about to do, Adams and Eve disobeyed. After the fall, they tried to find ways to please their heavenly Father. Not knowing how, they started making rules.
Once there are rules, they get broken. And when they get broken, we cry “No fair!” Look at Cain and Abel. Cain refused to go things God’s way, then cried “No fair!” when God didn’t accept his offering of produce, while his brother’s meat offering was welcomed.
Over the centuries, “no fair” has crept further and further into our belief system. When someone else is successful and we’re not, we cry “No fair!” When others are healthy while we battle cancer, we rail, “No fair!”
There is a dangerous wave of “life needs to be fair” going through our nation right now and it is wreaking havoc not only in society, but in the church. Make sure this is a band wagon you’re not on!
You see, God never promised life would be fair. In fact, He never claims to be fair Himself! Why? Because there is something greater than fair: God is just!
Justice is a term used for what is right or “as it should be.” In a world riddled by sin and ruled by “the lawless one,” there is a lot that isn’t as it should be. We were not meant to live separated from God, trapped in time and sin, but here we are.
This problem is not only corporate, it’s personal. The enemy loves to attack us and take the blessings, promise and purpose God has planned for us. We often don’t realize he was the culprit and when we do, we believe the devil has won. He hasn’t!
Petition God for justice. Catch the thief and make your case to Him. Keep making that case until He rules in your favor. Because He is just, you can be rewarded with restoration and even restitution here on earth!.Yes, your day is coming if you have the guts to go after it!

The Lord says, “I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten…”

    – Joel 2:25a

And remember this: the ultimate justice is when Jesus comes back and claims this world and His people for eternity!

For I, the Lord, love justice, I hate robbery in the burnt offering; And I will faithfully give them their recompense and make an everlasting covenant with them.

    – Isaiah 61:8

EATING WORMS
You are the apple of your Father’s eye. He is continually focused on you and waits for you to focus on Him. When your mind wanders, come back to Him. He’s never upset at your inattention, but celebrates each return!
EATING WORMS
When I was a kid, we used to sing a little song. You might remember it. It goes, “Nobody likes me. Everybody hates me. Goin’ to the garden, eat worms, eat worms!”
While it seems like a silly kids song, many of us adults subscribe to the spirit behind it.
The thought pattern that “nobody loves me” or “nobody cares” is a dangerous way of thinking. Why? Because it’s a lie from the pit of hell. Satan’s favorite way of paralyzing us and keeping us from our destiny.
You are loved like crazy by the extravagant God of the universe. He planned you and knew you before He knit you together in your mother’s womb. The Bible says He counts the number of hairs on your head and keeps track of your tears – tears that break His heart to watch you cry.
When you’re tempted to focus on the two nimrods that don’t like you, stop. Instead, focus on all the people who love you. If you’re convinced nobody on this earth loves you, know for certain that your Father in Heaven thinks you’re the best.

Keep me as the apple of your eye; hide me in the shadow of your wings.

    – Psalms 17:8

Being the apple of His eye means you are HIs focus! You never have to ask for His attention because you have it – all of it! You also have all of His love because it is limitless! You never have to share God with anyone else because He’s all yours all the time!
Moses knew this well. Moses didn’t have many friends. Because he was the leader, he took a lot of the blame and criticism of the people. The word says his own wife didn’t even like him! But the Bible clearly records God’s thoughts on Moses. God called him “a friend.”

The Lord would speak to Moses face to face as one speaks to a friend.

    – Exodus 33:11

Know this: you can’t make people love you. As wonderful and perfect as God Himself is, He can’t make anyone love Him. So focus on those who do love you, especially Jesus!
TODAY IS A GOOD DAY TO STOP CHASING AFTER PEOPLE WHO REFUSE TO LOVE YOU. FOCUS ON JESUS, WHO LOVES YOU NO MATTER WHAT!
