PROPHET, PRIEST AND KING
Three is My number for perfect completion. It’s when I rule and reign. Not only Am I Father, Son, and Spirit, to you on earth I Am also Prophet, Priest, and King. Let Me perfectly complete our relationship. Know Me in each of these ways.
PROPHET, PRIEST, AND KING
If you’re going to understand Jesus as your King, you need to understand there are roles or “offices” that He has to fulfill in your life – Prophet, Priest, and King.
Just like so many things in the Kingdom, there are three stages here:
Outer court, inner court, Most Holy Place.
Now abides faith, hope, and love, and the greatest of these is love.
Father, Son, Holy Spirit
Past, present, future
Sun, moon, stars
Egypt, the wilderness, the Promised Land
Thirty, sixty, 100-fold
Yes, those three stages. It’s good to know Jesus as your Prophet because as a Prophet, He reveals the Word of God and reveals the Father to you.
As a Priest. He made – and is – the ultimate sacrifice for you. You need to know Him as your Priest.
But man, you’ve got to know Jesus as your King. As your King, He’s the ultimate one. He rules and reigns in your life, which means He brings peace to your messed up world because His Kingdom is come and His will is being done IN YOU.
When He is your King, you are a part of His kingdom and you’re all about accomplishing vision for the Kingdom. Is He your King? Are you going after Kingdom things and bringing Jesus into dark places?
Make Jesus your King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Get off your couch and help somebody by bringing Jesus into their Egypt. As the King, He can lead them out of bondage and into a progressive life of faith, hope, and love.

A GOOD INVESTMENT
I Am a God waiting for My harvest. I have given you a field. Work hard at preparing the ground, sowing seed, watering and pulling weeds up by the root. It requires patience, sweat, and dedication. I have given you everything you need. Use it.
A GOOD INVESTMENT
A harvest doesn’t just happen. It is not guaranteed, yet, the harvest is expected by God. There’s a great revelation in that because it’s not God’s job to tell us we’re going to have a harvest. It’s our job to tell God He’ll get a harvest out of us.
He’s made an investment in all of our lives. What are we doing with that investment? Are we growing it? You and I play a vital part in the harvest of lost souls and the problem is not the seed or the ground. It’s the people left in charge of stewarding the harvest. That’s why Jesus said:
“Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.” – Matthew 9:38
Laborers are people willing to put forth the work for the harvest – people with Kingdom agendas. The harvest only happens through commitment, personal dedication, and hard work.
Check out the Parable of the Sower in Mark 4:3-8. We’re all called to sow seeds of love and hope into lost lives. Some of us will sow on rocky ground and faith will spring up for a season in that ground, but wither away because there’s nowhere to take root. I would call springing up “30-fold.”
Some will sow into thorny ground where the heart is ready, but others come along and choke out the hope before it can yield a crop. I would call that 60-fold or “increasing.” Then there is the seed that falls on good ground. It yields a crop that produces 100-fold what was sown into it.
Think about the investment made in your life. Do you want to give Jesus back 30, 60, or 100-fold of what’s been sown into you? Some Christians are satisfied knowing they’re going to heaven – 30-fold. I’m not and I hope you aren’t either.
Let’s you and I never settle for just being saved. You and I are people who hunger and thirst after more of God and we will bring Him a harvest of souls. Lord, renew our minds, renew our passion for the lost and cause us to bring you a 100-fold return on your investment in us.

THE STRONGHOLD OF THE “IN-A-ME”
You are powerful for the pulling down of strongholds and every high thing that exalts itself against Me, the Lord Almighty. Don’t see yourself as less. You are enough. You are dangerous to the enemy so tear down those walls.
THE STRONGHOLD OF THE “IN-A-ME”
So, you finally learn your wilderness lesson – to depend on Father God because He is your provision. You step over into the Promised Land and there are three things you have to fight. “What?!?” you say, “I didn’t sign up for this!”
Ah, but you did and believe me, you were built for battle.
The thing you battle is walled cities. They are also called strongholds in the Old Testament. A stronghold is a way that you have learned to think that doesn’t come from God. It’s in your mind. Yes, you’re battling what I call the “in-a-me.”
“Well, Pastor Troy, my first wife cheated on me and left. My second wife beat me up and left. My third one beat me up, cheated on me and burned the house down. And I have learned that women are whack.”
Maybe, just maybe the problem is you are so unstable you are only attractive to unstable people. Maybe deep calls unto deep and you’re galactically stupid when it comes to relationships. That’s a stronghold.
Want a stable relationship with a sane person who will love you and you can love them? You will not go any further unless you deal with your strongholds. You need a new way of thinking.
So, a stronghold is a way you’ve learned to think that doesn’t come from God. Racism is a stronghold. Believing you’re unworthy of love and will always be alone or always choose losers is a stronghold. Believing that because “my daddy was like this and so was his daddy, and so was his daddy, and so was…” Get my drift?
I once knew a man with a rockstar wife. She was gorgeous, funny, smart and loved him. Oh, she loved that man. He cheated on her with women not nearly as beautiful or as cool as her. When I asked him why, he said, “I’m Italian. That’s what we do.”
That is a walled city – a stronghold. It’s a lie or stereotype you’ve been led to believe is part of you and it will be part of your legacy to your kids no matter what you do. STOP! Who told you that?
I’ll tell you who – the “in-a-me” who has been listening to the enemy of God. He’s a liar and so is your history. Your family tree, your bloodline, your past – they are not who you are today and they are not your future. Your destiny is always greater than your history because once you invited Jesus into your life, redemption showed up.
Redeem your mind. Give it to Jesus and tear down those strongholds. Just like Jericho, when you let the Lord have control, the walls will come tumbling down.
The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have the divine power to demolish strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments. – 2 Corinthians 10:4

REWARDING YOUR MESS
I Am not a God of punishment. I Am a God of blessing and reward. While your sin results in consequences know I Am in the restoration business. Be restored and offer restoration over punishment to others.
REWARDING YOUR MESS
You already know life is messy – always. I’ll also tell you Jesus isn’t afraid of your mess. He actually likes jumping into the middle of it. There are two things He does to answer your mess and you’ll find them in the book of 1 Thessalonians.
First, Jesus consistently teaches you need a worldview that He is coming back again. There are so many things we think are final that are not final because Jesus is coming back and He’s going to fix them.
The idea that Jesus is coming back is a fundamental doctrine to the Body of Christ we can never let go of. Jesus Christ is risen from the dead and coming back soon. Do not give that up. It’s a worldview that says, “Jesus is King.”
What is your responsibility in this? To steward this mess because, when Jesus comes back, not only is He going to judge, He’s also going to reward. The Bible says He’s going to separate the goats from the sheep. That’s a game-changer so be a sheep.
Second, in a mess, operate in the basic principles of faith, hope, and love. This is how you dig in and fortify your position in the midst of a mess.
Faith is what you’re hearing God speak. “Faith comes by hearing…” Faith is what God is personally telling you about something because you are in relationship with Him.
Hope is when you begin to entertain the idea of it actually happening. It’s about bringing heaven to earth in the midst of the mess. Love is when you lay down your life to make sure it does happen and His will is done in you.
Jesus is coming back to make all things right and new. Until then, have faith. Share hope and love so He can more than bless your mess. He can reward you for it.
For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. – 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17

CHASING THE NEW THING
I heard the cries for help from the Hebrews in Egypt and delivered them. I hear your cries as well. Let me help you. Partner with me and we will do new things together.
CHASING THE NEW THING
There’s this incredible thing God does whenever you move from one place into a new place. He wants you to trust Him for “the new thing.”
The new thing may be a whole new way of living your life or a new way of thinking. It may be a new way to figure things out. Your new thing may be a whole new mindset and it may be a new way of hearing God speak.
When God moves us from one place into another, He expects us to recognize the change of scenery.
“Behold, I will do a new thing…shall ye not know it?” – Isaiah 43:19
It’s a really big deal for you to know God is doing a new thing, but are you willing
to sacrifice the old thing you know so well for the new thing? If you are, you have to lay down your life.
A good example is the Hebrews during and after the Exodus. Everybody who had lived in Egypt walked a walk that was about knowing God someday. Now that they’re free, they have to know God right now. They have to trust God right now.
Once they learned that, the rules changed. When they moved into the Promised Land, they had to have a vision again of “someday,” but they had to partner with God right now to see the someday come to pass.
Don’t be afraid of the new thing. Chase after it! Walk in God’s ways, acknowledge Him and He will direct your path, right to the Promised Land.

MADE FOR UPGRADE
My love, My patience, My wisdom, My creativity, My attention – it is all limitless. I have given you the mind of Christ, which is also limitless. So what does that make you?
MADE FOR UPGRADE
You know I’m all about upgrade and Isaiah 9:7 is the great upgrade Scripture. It’s an amazing prophecy of the Lord Jesus Christ and it says this:
“Of the increase of His government and peace There will be no end, Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, To order it and establish it with judgment and justice From that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.” – Isaiah 9:7
There’s no such thing as the “end” of His government and His peace. However much of the Kingdom you have, you still haven’t tapped out yet. By the way, peace is Jesus ruling and reigning in your life. That’s why the majestic side of Him is called “the Prince of Peace.”
That’s also why when you don’t have peace in your life, it’s because you know Him as your friend or “homeboy,” not as your King. You have to upgrade. You have to go after something more than what you had in Him when you first got saved.
My friends, you were made to improve, progress and upgrade. How do I know? Nobody dreams of living in a ditch or aspires to a worse life tomorrow than they had today – nobody!
Does upgrade in your relationship with Jesus appeal to you? It should. He should no longer be your friend, but your King. He should no longer be your Savior, but your Destiny. Go after more Jesus. There is no end to Him or the good things He has in store for those who love Him. You were made for upgrade.

YOUR SOUL PURPOSE
I have given you the right to be a son or a daughter to Me. My Name, the Name Above All Names, is yours. Let it define and guide you as you expand My Kingdom and My family.
YOUR SOUL PURPOSE
Identity is a big deal to God. Because of that, it should be a big deal to us as well. Much of who you are is established by your family and your family name. God is the one who organized this and it’s wonderful to have a name. It’s also terrible not to have a name. People who do not have a name can easily be exploited.
Look at the orphans we rescue from the streets of Africa, India, Mexico, Nepal and South America. They don’t have names. Look at the girls we rescue out of sexual slavery. Most have a first name, but they’ve never known their family name. They’ve been exploited, enslaved, marginalized and forgotten because nobody will claim them.
Well, I do! I’ve given the name “Brewer” to countless orphans across the world. I would love to say it was my big idea, but it wasn’t. It was Father God’s.
Remember when I told you the fear of the Lord is to love what God loves and hate what He hates? Well, He hates it when someone is lost. When they have no family and no identity. He doesn’t want anyone to be an orphan.
That ’s why God’s agenda is to adopt people into His family – first the Jews, then the Gentiles – that’s you and me. When we’re part of God’s family, we line up with His identity. We start to look and act like Him. We bring heaven to earth to build His Kingdom so His will, which is always good, can be done.
The best part? Not only do you and I get our identity from Jesus, we can extend that offer of adoption to others. Your sole – or soul – purpose is to bring the lost into the family. That’s it. There are as many ways to do that as their are Jesus freaks on the planet.
Find your identity – your unique place or way to tell people about Jesus – and start inviting people to the party. The reunion is coming soon and you don’t want anyone to be left out! Step into your territory!
A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling. God sets the lonely in families, he leads out the prisoners with singing; but the rebellious live in a sun-scorched land. – Psalms 68:5-6

EMBRACE YOUR DESTINY
I Am the Christ – the Anointed King. When you know Me as your King of Kings, the name “Christ-ian” takes on a whole new meaning. Wear My name with honor and testify to My goodness.
EMBRACE YOUR DESTINY
Listen, you are not the loser that your history says you are. You are the winner your destiny says are.
There’s another book besides that book of Matthew that tells us all about the majesty of King Jesus. The book of Revelation is all about Jesus as the King. Revelation is a book about, “This is what it looks like when Jesus is the King.”
Do you know Jesus as your King? If you don’t, you need to. You see, if He’s your buddy or homey, you don’t have the proper perspective. You’ve limited who He is to you and when you do that, you limit what He can do in and for you. When Jesus is your bud, you need lots of grace to get through each day.
The word “grace” is only found in the book of Revelation two times. It’s in the first and last chapters. Why is there no grace in the book of Revelation? Because when you are fully in the presence of Jesus, you don’t need grace. Why? Because you’re both holy and you’re righteous.
Grace is really good as long as you’re messed up. But the day is going to come and you’re going to get an upgrade from grace and walk in the reflection of the Lord Jesus Christ. You’re going to walk in holiness and righteousness, and there’s no need for grace anymore.
When you know the King, when you’re part of the King’s family and a joint heir to the Kingdom, you don’t need grace because you’re Holy (set apart) and righteous. Get to know Jesus as your King of Kings and embrace your destiny.
May the grace of the Lord Jesus be with God’s holy people. Amen. – Revelation 22:21

SELL OUT!
I require a harvest from you. The harvest you bring me depends on you. Listen to and partner with the Holy Spirit. He will guide you into all truth and equip you to be a 100-fold farmer.
SELL OUT
There’s a big difference between 30-fold, 60-fold and 100-fold Christians. The labor of a 30-fold harvest might look something like a farmer plowing with a single blade behind a single mule. Picture one guy, by himself, with the tamest animal he can find. Less maintenance, one blade in the ground, that’s it.
Most of Christianity looks exactly like that. Let me tell you something, there’s no shame in this because this is hard work and this guy is going to produce a crop, just not a big one.
A 60-fold Christian might look like a farmer plowing with several blades behind a pair of Clydesdales. He’s going to have mastery over those animals and they are bad motor scooters. That farmer is going to deal with complicated things and he’s going to have to gain mastery over them.
Those multiple blades? That means he’s having multiple conversations with God about several different things in his life. He’s making sure there’s going to be a harvest out of more than one row in his life.
This might be what a 100-fold Christian looks like: A farmer in multi-million dollar tractor with countless blades digging up the ground behind it. This tractor has the capacity to plow thousands of acres. Think about your own life and the legacy you’re going to leave. Think about the difference in the price you have to pay to go from 30 to 60 fold, then from 60-fold to 100-fold.
A good tractor that is going to plow thousands of acres costs a couple million dollars as opposed to one ol’ docile mule that’s not going to do anything big but hey, it will pull your blade part of the time and you can only handle that.
For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you. – Matthew 7:2
Are you going to use a half-cup to measure your commitment to God’s Kingdom or you gonna bust out the 5-gallon bucket? Yes, this will require sacrifice, dedication, and perseverance for sure. Jesus set the perfect example of each of these qualities.
This good ol’ boy from Johnson County is going to bring God a 100-fold harvest. I’m invested. How about you? You ready to go all out and invest yourself in Kingdom work? Sell out for the tractor. Use the 5-gallon bucket. You’ll never regret it.

STAND YOUR GROUND
I have promised you good things. I have given you good things. There is no reason to bail on my plan because you know I Am good. Stick to the plan. Stay in the battle. Stand and fight like many souls depend on you because they do.
STAND YOUR GROUND
The battles you face in the Promised Land are the challenges, threats, and oppositions to your Kingdom advancement. The thing that threatens your life is you bailing on God. Look at 10 of the 12 spies. They bailed on God when they saw the giants they were about to face and it cost everybody. Don’t bail!
It ain’t about survival. It’s about Kingdom advancement. Advancement is about upgrade and not being satisfied with camping out around a sermon. Advancement is about camping out around the presence of God.
But know for certain that, in the Promised Land, you fight to get into God’s presence because so many things in your life are working to keep you from finding and fulfilling your destiny and calling.
The enemy doesn’t want you to fulfill your destiny. He knows it’s bigger than you. He knows you’re dangerous to his scheme to take as many of God’s children to hell with him as you and I will let him. He’s going to challenge, threaten and oppose you at every corner.
Remember, in the Promised Land you don’t fight for victory. You fight from victory. You’ve already defeated the devil by showing up. Take your territory. Feed the hungry, clothe the naked, free slaves and bring Jesus onto your battlefield. The devil don’t stand a chance when you stand your ground.
For this reason take up the full armor of God, so that you may be able to resist in the evil day, and having prepared everything, to take your stand. – Ephesians 6:13
