Writing Holiday Stories

For years, all my stories were set in winter because I love snow. It occurred to me that if I like winter so much, the mystery of Santa, and all things Christmas, why wasn’t I writing holiday stories? So I started writing them, and it turns out I actually enjoyed writing them. I mean, what's not to love about Christmas? The scents and smells of all the baking, the smell of Christmas trees, pine

Holiday Reading: Part One .... Delsora Lowe

As you can probably tell, I love both reading and writing holiday romances. Here's the list of books that I started reading in October. I still have more on my list and will post those holiday reads in December. Feel free to recommend any holiday reads you love or wrote in the comments section, since I am sure I'll be adding to my list of reads. Because obviously, I'll still be reading holiday

Christmas Memories

As we head into the holiday season I always get a little nostalgic. My children are grown with children of the their own. How the heck did that happen? It seems like only yesterday that our kids were toddlers and filled with wide-eyed anticipation for all things Christmas.  I have two favorite memories of those days. One Christmas Eve we were driving home after celebrating with my husband’s

Nostalgic Christmas Indulgences by Eleri Grace

I haven't written a new holiday themed romance for this season to share with you, but my initial thought was that I would share a few recommendations for similar books and movies for readers who enjoy a nostalgic Christmas feel this time of year. Unfortunately, I believe there is still a gaping hole in the Christmas novels market for period pieces set in the years where all our classic Christmas

Holiday Romances with Whimsy by Lynn Lovegreen

I haven’t written any holiday romances but one of my favorite authors has—Elva Birch. She writes shifter romances with whimsy. Want a flamingo shifter hero who must put his foot down to win his mate? (The Flamingo’s Fated Mate) Or a dragon shifter with a fire-breathing squirrel shifter toddler daughter? (Dragon’s Instinct) Elva’s the author for you! https://www.elvabirch.com Elva Birch’s holiday

Happy Holidays to You

This time of year, with the lowered temperature, short days, threatening snowfall, the world is filled with holidays. Reasons for people to find cheer and keep going (and spending money) even in the most depressing times. The first of November starts things out with the Day of the Dead, All Saints Day, Prime Meridian Day, National Cinnamon Day and World Vegan Day all crowding in together on
