How do you know if your book idea is good enough?
Russel Simmons, an entrepreneur, and record executive, once said, "What holds most people back isn't the quality of their ideas, but their lack of faith in themselves."
I’ve found this to be very much true with authors, including myself. Sometimes we have a great idea for a book, but for whatever reason, we don’t believe we are good enough to bring that idea into the world.
Sometimes this lack of faith is conscious, sometimes it isn’t.
Wouldn’t it be cool if there was an instrument, device, or tool we could use to objectively determine if our book idea was truly a good one? (Hint: I’m developing one right now! Let me know if you want me to let you know when it’s ready.)

The Day that was Foretold Has Come
Long ago, in a distant and mysterious land called Connecticut, it was predicted that there shall one day be an event for entrepreneurs that are geeks.
The oracle of Nova Scotia declared that this event shall be known as EntrepreNERD.
Today is the day that prophecy becomes reality.
Ten chosen people, henceforth known as The Fellowship of the Summit, shall lead those who accept the call on a journey of knowledge, connection, and discovery. (I’m so honored to be one of the 10!)
Among the wisdom the Fellowship will share is:

How Books are Wishes Made Manifest
If ….
Supposition 1: As the lyrics from the Sleeping Beauty song say, a dream is a wish your heart makes.
Supposition 2: As Neil Gaiman says, a book is a dream you hold in your hands.
Then… A book is a wish your heart makes made manifest and placed in your hands.
Therefore, as an author, you are, in a way, a maker of wishes come true!
How cool is that?
