Two Things …

There are two things happening tomorrow. Can you guess what they are?

If you guessed that one of them is people gathering around a table to indulge in turkey, pumpkin pie, and gratitude for family or friends, you’re right! Happy Thanksgiving!

The second thing is my combo Black Friday/Product Retirement sale. So, stay tuned!

Can you leave a legacy and grow your business at the same time?

What does leaving a legacy mean to you?

If it means sharing your knowledge and wisdom in a way that others can consume, a book is a great way to go. And, while you’re still around, it can grow your business, as well.

That’s what I’ll be talking about in this week’s FREE webinar for author entrepreneurs. Learn more here:

Embrace Humility

Lauryn Hill said, "Everything we do should be a result of our gratitude for what God has done for us."

The opposite of pride is humility. One way to foster humility is to be thankful for the blessings that God gives you, from the little things, like a cool breeze, to the big things, like health, talent, and those you love the most. How can you be more humble today?

Express Your Gratitude

John F. Kennedy said, “As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.”

I am very grateful for my husband, Christopher. One of the ways I live out this gratitude is by saying, "thank you," when he does something that makes my life a little easier.

How do you live out your gratitude?

Gratitude makes you happy

Will Arnett said: “I am happy because I’m grateful. I choose to be grateful. That gratitude allows me to be happy.”

He wasn’t wrong. Positive psychology research has found that gratitude is strongly and consistently associated with greater happiness.

Statement or Story?

Mason Cooley says, “Clothes make a statement. Costumes tell a story.”

Does your book idea make a statement? Or tell a story? Whichever you choose, go all in so that the statement is bold, or the story is compelling. That helps the book resonate better with its intended audience.
