Bookstores That Bring On The Ahhhh…
I've got a fun question for you today. Think back to all the bookstores you've ever been in during your life and tell me which was your favorite and why…
I came up with this blog after realizing just how much I love to wander bookstores looking at all the titles. Toss in the sound of rain on the roof and the whole experience is even better.

A Fab Signing
I'm back from my signing in Nashville and all I can say is, Wow.
Great. Time. In fact, as a little girl determined to be a writer so long ago, this would have qualified as one of those dream signings (along with one I did for a church group in PA last year).
Here's a few pictures from the event which drew lots of book lovers despite the holiday weekend.
Mysteries & More in Nashville is a wonderful little neighborhood bookstore that has charm coming out its ears, er, windows. Seriously, I...

Easter Bits & Easter Pieces
In light of the Easter holiday this weekend, I thought it would be fun to have an almost-totally-chocolate Bits & Pieces…
1) What's the one Easter-time candy you simply can't pass without buying?
2) Peeps or no Peeps?
3) Have you ever watched a Peep grow to nearly 5x it's size in the microwave? C'mon, be honest…
4) Aside from # 1, what other Easter-time candies do you hope the bunny brings?
5) Tell us about your Easter Day traditions…
Finally, on a more serious note, if you celebrate Easter, may...

And Now, A Word From Leona…
I figured, since I'm traveling for the release of my latest book, REAP WHAT YOU SEW, I should have you do a little bit of traveling this week, too.
Today, you'll find me–or, rather, the attention-loving Leona Elkin–over at Dru's place (for those of you who are regulars to this blog, you've seen Dru pop in on our comments on a fairly regular basis). Dru has got a really cool site for mystery lovers that puts you in the head of some of your favorite mystery characters.
So click HERE and say...
On The Move
In honor of yesterday's release, I'm guest blogging with Dollycas today. So click HERE and get a glimpse at the little gem that began my plot-athon for REAP WHAT YOU SEW.

Drum Roll, Please…
It's here!
The sixth installment in the Southern Sewing Circle Mysteries is now available!!!! Yay!!
This first week of sales is always hugely important, so, if you're a fan…this would be a great time to check this out. It's a fun, fun read that introduces Leona and Margaret Louise's mom–Annabelle–into the mix.
Here's the back jacket synopsis:
Tori Sinclair has found a sense of home with the Sweet Briar Ladies Society Sewing Circle. During their get-togethers, she can relax with her...

She Reaped What She Entered
For those of you who read my "latest news" page here on this site, you know I put a copy of my brand new book–REAP WHAT YOU SEW (launch date: tomorrow)–up for grabs.
The entries have been pouring in over the past two weeks, providing Dear Daughter # 2 with a large base from which to pull the winning name. She swished, and she swished, and she swished, and she pulled out Amoris B. of Sacramento, CA!!
Congratulations, Amoris! Please email me at: ElizabethLCasey@aol.com to provide your address...

2) Must-have ice cream topping?
3) Favorite month of the year and why?

Driver's License, Sir
Here's a writing exercise for those of you who dare…
As everyone knows, the information found on a driver's license is rather superficial. Name, hair color, eye color, height, address. It gives you the shell, but tells you nothing of what's inside.
So here's some shell stuff about a character I've made up. It's up to you to tell us what's inside (be funny, be creative, it's up to you). But the more you play off each other's details, the more potential for fun.
