A Farmer’s Market Tip That Will Change How You Eat!

Well, I ask! I really love trying new locally grown fruits and vegetables. I find that the farmer is the BEST person to talk to when you’re not sure how to consume or cook something. Don’t be shy; just ask! I always have my favorite people at my local farmer’s market. You kind of get to know them… And it’s nice to know the people who are growing the food that you

Meet Nick

Nick is an incredible individual with a unique story that he shares throughout the world as an inspiring and passionate speaker. I was so glad to have the opportunity to talk with Nick about the topic of Overcoming and what that has looked like throughout his life. Nick was born without limbs, and you may think that has been Nick’s most significant obstacle, but in my conversation with him we...

My Go-To Breakfast Scramble

This is one of our staple scramble recipes. If you’re super busy you can even pre-chop the veggies the night before, and keep them in a sealed container in the fridge, but it’s best to shop them right on the spot cause it preserves their freshness. Our son, Tobias, likes to get involved by being our egg-scrambler! In fact, you can watch us make and eat this dish on my “.

Master the Daily

Play audio version http://bethanyhamilton.com/wp-content... If we focus on living well each day, the rest of our story takes care of itself. God knows what life waves are coming. Juany Lara’s Story

Coming home from work one day, Juany’s life changed in a moment as her car flipped several times when she lost control due to catching gravel. As she pulled herself out of her car she noticed that her left arm was gone. Receiving help from a family behind her to call 911, she was rushed to the hospital where a reattachment was attempted. A few days later, she had to make one of the hardest...

Loved From the Start

He would charge after the big waves that would come, and I wanted to charge them too, just like him. The comfort and safety I felt simply by being in the same space as him always allowed me the freedom to be exactly who I was and to try things without fear. I didn’t need to perform or present myself as strong to him because I knew he was brave for me. It was such a gift to be his daughter.

Shaved Ice and Slowing Down

What a meaningful message, in this always moving, always striving world of go-go-go and do-do-do. At home in Hanalei, this shop reminds me to pause, move a little slower, soak up the now, and appreciate the time I get to spend here between my travels. This last winter we had almost 5 months home. For us, a month without travel is a LONG TIME. Despite this extended break, I was still feeling barely...

Broken Hearted

My toddler is constantly requesting bandages (we use the heavy duty kine in our house). Our bodies are designed to easily heal these skinned knees without medical intervention. A bandage and some ointment typically do the trick. But sometimes, we get so wrecked that we need a doctor to stitch us up, a serious transplant or perform major surgery. I’ve been there!!! The same process can happen...
