Old Mandy Baggot, last chance!

Hi everyone, I hope you all had a fab weekend. We had back to back sunshine in Sandford and spent the time on steam trains, at castles, in the pool and soaking up all the South Coast had to offer. Amber also coughed all night every night we were there and after a trip on the chain ferry Ruby puked up all over herself and the car seat but then managed to eat chips, cake and ice cream. They're made of stern stuff my girls!

A quick blog today guys because I am in the middle of frantic packing for our caravan weekend in Poole. I should say Sandbanks, it isn't but then you might think we have a pad near the Redknapps, you know some luxury million pound celeb bolthole. Blogging from the boudoir!

Yes everyone this is the first blog I have brought to you from my newly fitted bedroom. OK so the carpet isn't fitted back properly and there is no actual bed in it at the moment but I have some great new wardrobes and a lovely dressing table/desk to work from. Goodbye stinky office filled with Mr Big's guitars and boring old accountancy paperwork and hello to clean lines, animal print and fragrant candles. A much more romance inducing space.

25-34 age category - farewell my friend!

Yes it is my birthday eve and I am trying to squeeze every last drop of my 34th year out of the day. Today Best Western helped me! I did an online questionnaire about my stay in Benidorm and could, for the last time, tick the 25-34 age category box. After today I will be in the next box which I can only assume is 35-44 - eek!! The trouble with this getting older lark is that mentally I am still a 19 year old. I still drink too much, eat the wrong foods and think I am the world's best dancer. ...

Morning all - having a bit of a post holiday slump today so am having egg and bacon to cheer me up! However one egg, two slices of bacon and one piece of toast isn't quite the same as having 3 different types of egg, eight rashers of bacon and six slices of toast from the all you can eat hotel buffet is it?! Benidorm was a blast!

WOW WOW WOW! What a fantastic time we had in Benidorm. Everything throughout the whole weekend was perfect. Ryanair flights were as efficient as ever, the Best Western Hotel Victoria was AMAZING - brilliant location, fantastic staff and the food! Well needless to say after over indulging on full board for 3 days I am in need of a rabbit food diet for a while! I'm a bit excited today everyone, even though I have a basket of ironing to do! Yes tomorrow Joff and I are off to Benidorm! We don't fly until the afternoon though so by tomorrow morning I will be in an excited frenzy! Lots of Benidorm people have been giving me tips of where to go for bands/karaoke/boat trips on Twitter and I really appreciate that because I am a Benidorm virgin! I have only heard good things from people who have been there so I am sure it won't be my first and only time!

Hi everyone - hope you're all having a good morning. Mine hasn't been very productive, so far I've eaten Alpen, watched an episode of Neighbours, done a load of washing, washed up and cleaned the kitchen, Tweeted and Facebooked and now I am blogging. Now that is all done I might finally get on with my proper job - writing!

Countdown to the sun!

I have been checking the weather in Alicante and we are looking at a tropical 19 degrees on Sunday which is our first full day in Benidorm! You can tell I am now starting to get really excited about the trip! I am packing today - we are going Ryanair from Bournemouth - and doing the whole small suitcase for hand luggage thing. I know a lot of people complain about Ryanair but I have flown with them a lot and have never had any problems. For what you pay you get a punctual, no frills flight...
