It feels like I've been away forever! I am probably the last person to blog about the wonderful Festival of Romance last weekend. I can't possibly add to all the great things said about this event but I will say that I had the BEST time. Yes he's here! I don't know how I am going to get any work done with this distraction! In fact I am quite surprised Mr Big has left me here along all day with him. Although Quinn does appear to be slightly more interested in Mr Big's guitar collection than me. Oh well!

Mandy Baggot - Taking Charge!

Hello one and all! It's Monday again - how did that happen? Had an OK weekend but Mr Big is ill. In fact he is upstairs, tucked up in bed as I write this. He isn't usually one to go down with the Man Flu but boy does he have it bad today! We've got a house full of Lemsips and the vile fragrance of eau de Olbas Oil frequenting every inch of air. I'm a Vicks Vaporub girl myself! Anyway, I've left him to wallow in snot while I get on with some writing.

First off let's start with some disappointing news. I have takenthe decision to cancel my book launch for Strings Attached at the Holiday Innin Amesbury on 1 November. There has been a hold up in production at thepublishers (a new super advanced system is being set up) and I can't guaranteepaperback copies will be ready. I hate disappointing people and I hatecancelling events more than anything but I would rather do it now than at thelast minute or go ahead and have no books to...

Yesterday Lady Baggot was quite grumpy. It was that coming down period after a holiday when you have two tonnes of washing to do, a broken washing machine, bits in your latest novel just don't feel right and you've caught up on your Neighbours episodes and there's nothing to watch with your lunch! I'm happy to say that normal service has now been resumed and I am feeling better.

Happy Monday everyone!

Today I am riding on the crest of a wave and feel quite chilled and in control. This is because Strings Attached went off to the publisher on Saturday night! Met with the final  proofreader on Friday, raced home and spent the next 24 hours amending the manuscript! Because of some brilliant prior proofreading from Sharon Goodwin there weren't that many issues to address apart from my terrible attempt at fellatio - the spelling of it that is! Morning everyone!
