Fun and celebrations!

Happy Friday! Well, what a busy week I've had. I hope you have all seen the fruits of my trip to Fareham when I was interviewed for new show Your Hampshire. If you missed the promotional video and the rather funny out takes then here it is for your enjoyment!

I am a professional honest! The laughing only kicked in after about the third take - the first two were fine but we did need those over camera angles apparently! Tee hee!

So, my other news is that I've just become a member of the Romantic ...

Great weekend!

Morning all! Hope Monday finds you bright eyed and bushy tailed. As most of you who follow me on Twitter and Facebook probably know already I had a fantastic weekend and a great signing at Waterstones Swindon. Vicki, Martin and the rest of the team there really made me feel welcome and we sold lots of books!!

I met some lovely people in Swindon, some Twitter friends came in and Loveahappyending author Richard Holmes popped in to see me too - all in all I had a brilliant Saturday! But, if you ...

Crazy signings!

So have you all seen the photos from my book signing at Waterstones Bournemouth Castlepoint? If not - here's one!

It was a bit of a signing with a difference I have to say! And that's all I'll say I think! It was lovely to see my friends Shaz and Ces and thank you to all the other readers I pulled in off the concourse to buy a copy of Strings Attached. The heart-shaped lollies were particularly well received!

This coming Saturday I am off to North Wiltshire and Waterstones Swindon!! I hope...

A romantic novel will always satisfy you on Valentine's Day!

So on Saturday I was again up at the crack of dawn defrosting the car in minus 9 degree weather before my train trip to Weston Super Mare. I have to say I met some really lovely people - a special hello to Audrey who I met on the train, Ken and his wife who told me I should make Strings Attached into an audiobook, the lovely lady who asked if I wrote like Danielle Steele 'you know love, she finds him, she loses him, she finds him, she loses him again, far too much finding and losing as far...

Season of romance

So we are in the season of romance! The shops are filled with heart-shaped everything, there are magazines and newspapers offering their space to romantics who wish to declare their love in print and there are restaurants conjuring up dishes of love at inflated prices to get you all going out on Valentine's night or the weekends before and after. Is there no escaping this love-fest? Do we love it or hate it? Why don't you tell me? Do you think Valentine's Day is a lovely tradition that...

On the go with Lady B!

People tell me I am the hardest working author they know - after this weekend I might just be agreeing with them! I mean it takes dedication of the highest order to roll out of bed at 6am, defrost the car in -10 degree weather and get on three different trains on a Saturday to sign books doesn't it?

But having said that I LOVE IT and wouldn't have it any other way!

So, Saturday started off FREEZING and after finding a lady collapsed in the toilets at Salisbury train station (yes - this sort of ...

A new home for Lady B!

Yes, I let a furry rodent break the news last night. Shaz Goodwin's Secret Squirrel made the announcement and here I am to fill you in on the details.

I have been signed by new fiction publishers Sapphire Star Publishing who are based in the US, for my next novel Taking Charge! As you know, Lady B was previously unrepresented and going it alone in the self-publishing world but I always try to keep my options open. I submitted to five publishers, a mixture of UK and US, and of the five only...

Lots of excitement at the House of Baggot!

Ooooo excitement!! I should be packing but I couldn't resist a quick blog before I do that! At the moment I have packed a couple of t-shirts, 12 packets of assorted flavour crisps, a litre of wine, chocolate, cakes, biscuits, breadsticks, sweets and some Warburtons rolls. Where am I going with all this food? Disneyland Paris of course! Yes, despite hearing about all the fabulous restaurants they have there I have also heard how pricey they are so it will be cheap additives for lunches and...

The tour begins...

Morning everyone! How are you all doing today? Well, 2012 has started and that means the first date on Lady Baggot's tour of the UK is ever closer! This coming Saturday (14th Jan) I will be travelling across the border to Wales to sign copies of Strings Attached at Waterstones, The Hayes. This is my first trip to Wales to sign my novels but not my first visit to Cardiff!

Some of you might know that in 2008 I took part in The X Factor! Yes, Mr Big and I spent a day sat in the Millennium...
