Dress for Success
Hello everyone - I hope Friday finds you well! Wiltshire is currently being battered by that really wet rain, you know the type, it falls in a mist and soaks everything! But enough of weather talk or I'll start sounding like my husband!
Today I want to ask your opinion on business dress. I recently had my Style Day with the lovely Anita Marsh from House of Colour. The Style Day is the next step after having had my Colour Day, when I found out that black was not one of my best colours and coral...

Thank you!
Hi everyone
I just wanted to thank you all for your party game suggestions for my 7th year old's birthday party last weekend! We were lucky with the weather and we managed to have the whole event outside, for which my carpet and ornaments were very thankful for! A special thank you to Kate from Me, My Books and I who suggested the 'mummy' game - getting children into pairs and dressing each other up as mummies using toilet roll. This was the most talked about game in the playground the day aft...

Party games!
Yes, being a mum to two children I have to coordinate two birthday parties a year and every year I struggle. This year, on Sunday in fact, my eldest daughter is having her seventh birthday party. The plan was to get out the swimming pool (that should kill 40 mins of the 2 hours) followed by party food (30 mins?) followed by a fairy hunt (tracking down coloured in drawings downloaded from the Rainbow Magic website) a quick bit of musical statues, candle blowing, cake chomping, party bags and t...

Everyone loves a happy ending!
Hi everyone
I hope you all had a great weekend! I had a fantastic time at the Loveahappyending event in Tetbury on Saturday. I met all my lovely fellow authors, some meeting for the first time who had crossed many borders to be with us and of course two of our fantastic associate readers Lou Graham and Kim Nash. It was also fantastic to meet our supporters, those who love books and those who are just embarking on their first manscript. Everyone concurred that it was a big success and we hope i...

Amazon says I'm a bestseller so it must be true!
Morning everyone
If you haven't heard my latest news then prepare yourselves! Taking Charge has hit the Amazon bestseller list in the UK in contemporary romance!! Whoop whoop!! It's only just over a month since launch day and I am over the moon with this result. I'm not going to start an Oscar worthy speech but I just wanted to thank you all for your support each and every day on social media and of course, thank you for buying the book. I know Mr Cole Ryan is very excited to be a bestseller t...

Back from my dream holiday!
Hi everyone - I'm back! Have you missed me? In between drinking cocktails by the Ionian sea, doing Zumba in 33 degrees with a very hot guy called Teo, salivating over the HUGE buffet available morning, noon and night and spending time in the pool with my girls, I kind of missed you all too!
So, this weekend, if I'm not trapped in the house by the piles of laundry I need to get sorted, I will be attending the Loveahappyending event in Tetbury. This is going to be a fantastic day packed full of...

RNA party time!
Hi everyone
Now you know how much Lady B loves a good party, well tonight there's a great one in store. It's the Romantic Novelists' Association Summer Party and my first function with the RNA as a full member. Whoop! Yes, tonight I will be slurping canapes and devouring wine (is that right?) and hopefully clapping in all the right places. I was planning to be on my best behaviour, but as I am representing Sapphire Star Publishing and those girls down buttercream shots like they're going to be...

Hair dilemma, Song of the Day and the next stop on the road trip!
Morning everyone
I am having the great hair decision this morning! Do I have it cropped again into my usual Lady B style which I have had for God knows how long or do I carry on growing it and have it chopped into some sort of inverted bob (whatever that means?). Here are two pics - which do you think?
Obviously if I could have the model's face that would be good too but the hairdresser isn't a miracle worker! Comments would be lovely!
OK there should be three stops on the blog tour today - I kn...

Back on the Taking Charge tour!
Hi everyone
I hope you enjoyed the weekend! We had some sun in the UK yesterday - YES REALLY! But it's obviously gone now and we're back to rain! Ah but in two weeks time I won't care what the weather's like here because I will be on Corfu! Counting down the days!
But before I go off on my holidays there is still much excitement in the House of Baggot! Today I have a new Meet & Greet guest in the shape of book reviewer Carol Kinsey from Dizzy C's Little Book Blog. You can find out all about...
