Summer is coming!

I'm on a countdown for summer! Why? Well, for two great reasons! Firstly I'm going back to my second home, Corfu on 31 May!

And secondly, just a few days before my flight, my next Corfu-set novel, Those Summer Nights comes out!

Mark Friday 27 May in your calenders because you won't want to miss Imogen and Panos' story! Mainly set in Acharavi, the book also takes the characters out to Arillas and to Corfu Town, so if you know the island you might recognise a few of your favourite places!

Having been shortlisted for the RNA Romantic Novel of the Year Awards in the rom com category I was whisked up to London for the Oscars for romantic books on Monday!

Mr Big had polished his shoes, got out his tuxedo and together we were Mr Reece and Finch about to become Persons of Interest!

It started with champagne at 4.45pm and then some more... and then some more and then... you're getting the picture? 

I did managed to remain sober (relatively) for the official photo shoot!

So, it's the day after the evening the Romantic Novelists' Association announced the shortlists for the Romantic Novel of the Year award and I am going to confess all... One Wish in Manhattan almost didn't get entered at all.

As most of you will know, digital publishing is fast and furious with tight deadlines and turn arounds and little room to spare. With One Wish in Manhattan's publishing date being 2 October and me flying out to Corfu on holiday on 1 October and not having a final typeset...

Sometimes wishes do come true!

I am stupidly excited and looking forward to the awards night on 7th March! Bring on the fizzy!

It's the Love Month!

It's February which means two things - pancakes and Valentine's Day!

Mr Big is a complete tosser... when it comes to pancakes... and he will be whipping some up for us all on Shrove Tuesday. For Valentine's weekend we have lovely friends coming over for a Greek feast. I have no idea what I'm cooking yet but it will be Greek and it will be easy... I hope... Doesn't anything taste OK with enough wine?

2016 is here!

It's a new year! Welcome to 2016!

I'm so excited for this year as I have so much planned! It's the year I turn the big 40 and I'm determind to push the boundaries and do many things I've always wanted to do in the next 12 months. I know you'll all be pleased to hear that my plans also include new books!

So have you made any resolutions yet? I have made just one and it's carrying on the theme of my novel, One Wish in Manhattan. When you're so busy you often miss the bigger picture. So I am goin...
