Book Review: Kinky Girls by Miranda Forbes (ed.)
Article first published as Book Review: Kinky Girls, edited by Miranda Forbes on Blogcritics.
With names such as Carmel Lockyer, K D Grace, Justine Elyot and Sommer Marsden nestling between its covers, Kinky Girls promises much. And it certainly does not disappoint.
The theme is evident from the title – the stories in this book are seriously kinky. From spur of the moment prostitution to getting down and dirty with a priest, this book has it all.
As with most anthologies, some stories are better than others. There were a couple I disliked, but the others were so sparkingly brilliant that it more than made up for it. A few were so stand out that I'll still remember them many books and months down the line.
If you enjoy deliciously dark and dirty tales, then you should definitely get your hands on a copy of Kinky Girls. You won't regret it.

Awesome Review of Fang Bangers!
An email popped into my inbox this weekend to tell me that Fang Bangers, an erotic anthology from Ravenous Romance which contains a story of mine, has been reviewed. The reviewer loved it!
Here's what Justine from eBook Addict Reviews had to say:
"WOW. After I finished reading FANGBANGERS that's all I could say.The majority of the authors really knocked their entries out of the park… no matter where your preference lies in the "fang" universe I can definitely say, if you don't find something to like in this anthology, there is something wrong with you."

Six Sentence Sunday – 24/4/11
Sorry I've been AWOL for the past couple of weeks, everyone! Things have been hectic, to say the least!
I've just been given a release date for my first title from Noble Romance, A Bit of Rough. To celebrate, here are my six sentences to whet your appetite. You'll be able to read the full thing from 9th May…
When I met Andrew ("call me Drew"), I instantly pegged him as a bit of a moron. He had a captive audience of people laughing at the many mishaps in his love life. Despite the fact he was mocking himself, it sounded like he was desperate for people to know just how many women had been in his life, for however brief an interlude. He was one of those guys you love to hate. And yet, I still fancied him rotten. It was totally bizarre.

eBook Review: Mythic by Jae Lynne Davies
Article first published as eBook Review: Mythic by Jae Lynne Davies on Blogcritics.
Before Jae Lynne Davies was scheduled to appear on Erotica For All, she was a completely new-to-me author. Having read Mythic, I would definitely read more from her.
Mythic is an erotic paranormal romance. It's not overly heavy on sex, but when there are sex scenes, damn they're hot!
Gianna Marino is the female protagonist, and she's no ordinary woman. A vampire/human hybrid, she shouldn't really exist and she's spent her entire life trying to hide her true nature. A life that's been fraught with sadness.
When she was just a child, her parents were murdered by the leader of a vampire coven, and she's made it her life's work to find him, infiltrate the coven, and have her revenge. This is the part of Gianna's tale that we're shown. She has successfully infiltrated the coven, and Mattias, the very man she wishes to kill is completely and utterly infatuated with her. Trouble is, despite knowing she should hate him with every part of her being, she's also drawn to him.
When Nicholas, member of another coven, comes to challenge Mattias and settle an old score, things become increasingly complicated for Gianna. She's extremely attracted to both men – and they're mortal enemies. Plus neither of them know her true nature. Complex much?
Overall, I really enjoyed Mythic. It would have benefitted from some tighter editing in places, but the storyline is interesting and solid, and the sex scenes are absolutely scorching hot. I really hope there's going to be a follow-up though, as I felt like I'd been left hanging at the end – what happens next?

Sex Toy Review: Rampant Rabbit Platinum Petite
Just in time for Easter, those lovely peeps over at Ann Summers sent me a rabbit! Naturally, it's the rampant kind, as opposed to the sort you'd keep in a cage.
The Rampant Rabbit Platinum Petite has been a long time coming (if you'll pardon the pun), if you ask me. For a while now new rabbits have been released which have been bigger and better than the last. But what about the girls that wanted smaller ones? Well, Ann Summers have definitely come through with their new petite range.
This particular model is an inch shorter and a quarter of an inch smaller in girth than the Rampant Rabbit Touch. But although it's smaller, it certainly still packs a punch! With 11 vibrating functions and a 3 speed rotating shaft, there's still plenty to keep you happy. It takes 3 AAA batteries and is also waterproof – bonus!
Overall, I was very impressed. The toy is still plenty powerful enough to do its job and it's comfortable and completely non-threatening. I'd heartily recommend this to anyone who'd fed up of huge toys, or those looking to make their first vibrator purchase. It's a great quality vibrator and is a pretty good price.

eBook Review: Malcolm by Eliza Gayle
Article first published as eBook Review: Malcolm by Eliza Gayle on Blogcritics.
Malcolm is an erotic paranormal romance – with huge emphasis on the erotic part. *fans self*
It's the third book in Eliza Gayle's Black Cougar Series but despite not having read the other two books, it still all made perfect sense. I suspect other things will click into place when I read the others (Lucas and Kane), but it certainly works well as a standalone book.
Malcolm, as I suspect you've already guessed, is a shifter. His beast is a black cougar. We're introduced to him as he wakes up, disturbed by an intruder in his house. The action starts there and never lets up.
His super senses tell him almost immediately who the intruder is – Cheyenne. The woman he left behind several years ago and has regretted it ever since. Turns out she's been sent by his estranged brother to bring him back to their clan. He has no intention of going with her and wishes she would leave him alone. Her presence reminds him of what he lost; both his man and his beast want Cheyenne badly, so badly that she's not safe around him. If he loses control, he could take her whether she wants it or not. And he doesn't want to hurt her more than he has already.
Their problems are soon bigger than the two of them. A run in with someone from their past causes conflict, especially when his mutilated body turns up on Malcolm's doorstep. With both of them suspecting the other, Malcolm and Cheyenne have to work through their past and their mistrust and work out what's really going on. And they have to do it fast, or their common enemy will kill them both and everyone they care about.
Wow – this book is really something. It seriously grabs you and pulls you in from the very beginning. There's no let up in action, both sexual and non-sexual, throughout the entire story. The chemistry between the two main characters is absolutely incredible and although to begin with, you think their situation is easily rectified, it really isn't. The two of them are woven into a complex web and they've got to start unweaving it before they can find their happy ending – if they ever can.
I was totally hooked on Malcolm from the very start. It moves at a whirlwind pace and everything is hot and heavy; the sex, the action and the resolution. If you're into erotic paranormal stuff, then I'd definitely recommend getting your claws (sorry) into Malcolm.

Release Date for A Bit of Rough
I'm happy dancing over here! Not only did I get two short story contract offers yesterday (details will be announced when I have confirmation) but I've also been given my first Noble Romance release date!
My 'Naughty Nibble' A Bit of Rough will be hitting virtual bookshelves on 9th May! I will of course be sharing the cover when I get my grubby hands on it, but for now, I will leave you with a bit of blurb…
When Alison meets Andrew ("call me Drew"), she instantly pegs him as a moron. He's a total bad boy and does nothing but chain smoke and brag about his stream of past conquests. Yet, much to her confusion, Alison still finds herself attracted to him. She's not had sex in a while, so Alison figures there's no harm in going home with him to get herself a bit of rough.

Totty Tuesday – Sebastian Roché
Sorry for my slacking on Totty Tuesday of late, everyone. Things have been more than a little insane for me over the past couple of weeks so sadly I haven't been keeping up with the posts. I am back this week, however, with somebody new!
Sebastian Roché is a new discovery for me as he's recently started appearing in, yes, you've guessed it, Supernatural. I'm not going to give any spoilers, don't worry, but let's just say he plays an angel called Balthazar and leave it at that, OK?
Granted, he's not sexy in the traditional sense, but there's definitely something about him… perhaps it's the posh accent he has in the show. Damn, that never gets old. Also, whilst stalking – er, I mean researching him online, I found out he was born in one of my favourite places (Paris), he's half-Scottish, and we even share the same birthday. So that just makes him uber-cool, in my book.

Book Review: Booky Wook 2 – This Time It's Personal by Russell Brand
Article first published as Book Review: Booky Wook 2:This Time It's Personal by Russell Brand on Blogcritics.
I admit, I picked up my Booky Wook cheap. When I'd finished it, I wanted to read the second book, which I also picked up cheaply. And I have to say that having read them both, my perception of Russell Brand has completely changed.
[image error]Booky Wook 2:This Time It's Personal features the parts of Russell's career that people are most likely to be familiar with, purely because more people know who he is now. The thing I found most surprising about the book (which Russell says he wrote himself — can anyone confirm this?) is how well written it is.
It's funny, packed full of unusual and intelligent vocabulary and, perhaps most surprisingly of all, you can imagine that it's exactly how he speaks, too.
The man is startlingly honest, he doesn't write in a manner to make himself look better and I think that's what I liked most about the book. He's not proud of how he's behaved in the past and he's incredibly self-deprecating. It's actually a refreshing take on him, particularly as he comes across as incredibly arrogant.
All in all, a very entertaining, refreshing and honest read. Even if you don't like Russell Brand I think you might just start to change your mind after reading this.
